Please note that we both work outside of the home during the week, so your dog has to be comfortable being home alone during a typical workday. We have a small dog, a cat, and two young children, which means we go outside a lot and go on plenty of walks around the neighborhood and the lakes.

For new clients, we do require a meet and greet in advance to make sure that we are a good fit for you and that our pups get along. We'll also want to know more about your pup - what's their feeding schedule, are they able to stay home alone during the workday, are there any anxiety concerns or other quirks we should know about? Most importantly, is your dog comfortable around young children? In general, pups that are the best fit for us are well-behaved pups that are comfortable being home alone during the day and are friendly with our dog and children, as well as our friendly cat.
A typical day
What we do will primarily depend on you and your dog's preferences. In general, we'll go for a walk in the morning and a long walk in the evening when we get back from work. If your pup is staying with us on a weekend, we may go on some hikes or explore the city. For meals and bedtime, we'll defer to your usual schedule. Pups in our care will get plenty of love and pets on the head.

Hi there and thank you for checking out our profile! We are Kevin and Caitlin and we are two responsible, professionals who are happy to help care for your pup while you're away on vacation or business. Pups in our care will get all of our love and attention and will be treated as a part of our family. You'll be able to rest easy knowing your pup is in good hands. We have a 2-year-old Beagle named Teddy. He is very friendly and gets along very well with other dogs. In addition to our Beagle, Teddy, we also have a cat (named Catty). He gets along very well with other dogs and him and Teddy are best friends. In addition to our dog and cat, we also have two young children (a 5-year-old and a 2.5-year-old (as of 2025). Both of our kids have grown up around dogs their entire lives and are great with animals of all sizes. We started watching pups on Rover in the summer of 2015 and have been having a blast doing it! Clients love us because we provide a setting that's similar to what you'd get if you left your pup with a trusted friend or family member. We generally limit ourselves to watching one dog at a time, so you can be comfortable knowing that your dog is getting all of our attention. Our home is located in the Lowry Hil neighborhood - just a block away from Lake of the Isles. When we aren't at home, we're usually out exploring the neighborhood and going on long walks. Please note that we work regular 9-5 day jobs during the week. As a result, we can only watch pups who are comfortable being home alone during a regular workday. Please feel free to get in touch with us for all of your dog boarding needs. We're happy to watch your pup and will make sure that your pup is treated with the best of care. We're an especially great choice for anyone who wants their pup to stay in a nice, calm environment and wants to feel as if they're leaving their pup with a friend or family member.
