About: I get such joy from animal care! I have experience befriending cats, dogs, horses, fish and even amphibians (frogs, geckos, salamanders, axolotls). I’m an avid birdwatcher so I also wouldn’t shy away from an opportunity to take care of a feathered friend. I do best with friendly dogs who are already trained (potty, leash, and behavior) and all types of cats (see Cat Care Details for more info). I love that this is currently my full-time job. I get to meet so many cool pet owners and their pets. Plus, I get to apply what I’m learning all the time as I’m growing my pet care business. One of my favorite things is customizing a care plan specific to your pet’s needs so they can benefit from my time with them. About: I am currently on the pre-veterinary track studying to work with animals as my career. Over my summers I work as an educator and animal handler at a farm. I also have completed an internship with the wildlife rehabilitation center and a mammal nursery intern. I am currently a full time university student but have plenty of availability and flexibility. I am open to moving my days’ schedule around to fit different pet needs! I ensure that there is a mutual respect and understanding between humans and pets. It is important to treat your pets as you would people, and show care and affection as they truly understand it.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, and know how to accommodate each one's needs (special diet, long walks, companionship (or lack thereof)). I am also resistant to all forms of begging yet encountered, and will follow your recommendations for treats and the like. I work remote, so generally can adjust my schedule to fit you(r pet's) needs. I also generally take walks to have a break from the work day, so can easily add a dog or two to that walk! I will follow your lead on how to best care for your pet! I do not have any of my own animals currently due to my landlord, but have housesit for dogs and cats. I want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible, whether it's a crate, sleeping in the same bed, or eating meals together!

About: I've lived with animals my entire life and have been taking care of my own since I was about 7 years old. I've had a few dogs in my family; a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow, with experience from puppies to seniors. Cats have also been a constant throughout my entire life, also from kittens to seniors. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had at least one cat in my home. I've had a few other kinds of smaller critters as well; guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I'm well versed in pet body language and reading what they desire or need, and have lots of love to give your baby(ies)! They deserve the world. I absolutely adore all animals and spending time with them is my favorite activity. I have plenty of free time right now and can spend as much time as needed with your fur baby and make frequent check-ins or walks if desired! If your companion(s) is friendly to strangers, I will be sure to give them plenty of attention, play time, petting, and walks (if applicable) in addition to basic care and any other requests. If they're not comfortable with new people, I will respect their space and boundaries based on what they're telling me so they feel relaxed and safe. Every animal is different and I adapt to their personality and pace.

About: I have done a lot of work with babysitting which also has come as a double package with dog sitting. I have always loved being with pets, and have a cat of my own who I help take care with my parents. I am working part time at a Parks Building, and currently enrolled at Minneapolis College. I’d love taking them on walks and doing my homework with them while they rest. I can be available really whenever, the earlier I am made aware, the more likely I can fit it into your schedule. Having a cat of my own for the last several years has taught me a lot about the nature of taking care of a pet. They need interaction while the owners are away, and being trained in babysitting is a similar responsibility which I have plenty of experience with. I can come over in a flash, with a great perception of Northeast.

About: My family and friends rely on me to help out with their pets. I enjoy providing engagement activities for pets, which keeps their bodies and brains active. I provide a lot of attention to pets, with a lot of detail to food and their needs for going outside. With every pet I care for, I ensure that their needs are being met, and that they are happy. I work remotely part-time, so I am able to drop in when needed on weekdays (except Wednesdays and Thursdays). I also have evening and weekend availability as well. In my own home, I have a fenced yard. I also partition parts of my house as well. I leash dogs any time I need to take them out for a potty break. I also make sure that foods are out of reach, because I understand pets have different food sensitivities. When pets are playing with toys, I make sure to monitor them so they do not accidentally swallow anything.
