About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. “My dog received a minor injury on a walk with Kendall. It was 100% an accident that wasn't preventable and WAS NOT caused by any negligence or action on Kendall's part. Kendall called me right away. I couldn't answer because I was driving, so she left a detailed message and also sent me a text message. She sent me pictures and stayed with my dog until she calmed down. She also promptly contacted Rover to document the incident. The next day she texted to check how my dog was doing. I really appreciate how she handled the situation. I've already booked another walk with Kendall. She's great with my dog, flexible, responsive, and reliable. I highly recommend her!”
About: Before moving to Minnesota I lived with my roommates dog for 4 years. “Promise is very friendly and caring for dogs. We had a meet and greet before the actual boarding. She really took time to make sure that Aka feels not nervious at her place. She also sends pictures of Aka every day! She is amazing! I truly appreciate her!! At the end of the 5 day boarding period, Aka was cuddling with her dogs Diego and Gizmo! It was so cute to watch them becoming good friends!! Will defintely come back and book again!!”

“I cannot recommend Dave enough! He took such good care of my pup Taco. He sent pics every day and included some details about Taco's stay. I really appreciated Dave's flexibility when my flight home was delayed by six hours--not arriving until 2:30 AM. He was able to keep Taco a bit longer--life saver! We haven't been home long, but I'm pretty sure Taco misses Dave. I feel like Taco made a new friend and that means everything to me. Thank you Dave!”
