“Lincoln had such a great time with Nathan and his family. He came home very tired and slept the rest of the evening. He went for a walk and played with the kids. As a young dog it was great exposure for him. I would definitely take him back next time I need a sitter. Thanks Nathan.”

“Amanda is wonderful! You can tell that my dog has a lot of play time and receives a lot of love while she's in her care. Olive comes home tired, happy, clean, and ready to relax. Her dog Sage is also very sweet and plays really well with Olive. I feel 100% safe and confident handing my dog over to her for the day while I work so she can get her energy out with Sage. After having a few bad experiences at doggy daycares it's so nice to have the trust I've been looking for. Thanks Amanda! Olive loves you guys!”

“Was very communicative and nice, sent frequent updates and showed flexibility around pick off and drop off time. Our dog was very happy there and came back in a great mood. Would book again 😊”

“Our pup Sansa was in good hands! She was a happy and tired pup when we picked her up. I appreciated the photo updates and the communication. Will book again!”

“Amy is a great communicator and is so loving to my dog! She moved her schedule around to accommodate a timing need I had, which was much much appreciated.”

About: I’ve taken care of many different pets my whole life, I grew up with many different pets in my family. I currently have a well trained pet of my own, my friends and family come to me when they are in need of a sitter. I’m currently a part time college student, so I only go to class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, with my remaining time out of school, I have plenty of time to play and hangout with pets! I do not have a fully fenced yard but I do have a gated area on the side of my house. The gated area is big enough for dogs to run and play! I also have a small dog of my own to keep other dogs entertained!

“Krista and Alex took great care of lily. It was a challenge because my pup is afraid of storms. But they did a great job. Booking was last minute and I appreciated their help.”

“Lizzy & her husband took GiGi for a fun hour long walk in the snow. They gave her a lot of attention and cuddles. They will be great caregivers for your pet.”

About: Pets are like family to me. I will make sure that your pet is safe, loved, and has fun while you are away. They may even learn a new trick or two! I love cats and will provide a discounted rate for anyone who needs to board their cat with me! I currently work from home so I can spend all day with your fur baby. Since I do work from home, I can give your pet lots of walks and play time but they must be able to handle being alone when I am in a meeting. I can accept boardings for cats and dogs between 9am and 6pm. Same day bookings are only available for previous clients. I have a dog park within 3 minutes of my home. Your dog will enjoy playing there everyday. I also have a cat that loves other animals! I have lots of entertainment for a cat as well so they won’t be bored!

“Nhaje was great with my 6-month old pup, she has access to a small, fenced dog park and frequently updates with pictures/videos throughout the day! Highly recommend.”

“Kira was amazing with my newly adopted dog. I didn't want him to be alone during a few medical appointments I had, so he stayed with her a few times. He came home so exhausted and happy and I was able to feel very comfortable and not worry about him being alone at his brand new home. I will definitely rebook with her again. Thanks Kira!”

About: I had a dog growing up, and I got my 10mo. old pup Luchi in fall 2024. I trained him, and he loves going for walks and playing with other dogs. My yard is fenced and large enough for his zoomies, so he would love to play with another dog out there! He is very friendly and slightly timid around more aggressive dogs. Me: I am very responsible and my house it pet-proofed. With Luchi, I have to be very attentive because he puts everything in his mouth. I love to walk, be outside, and be active. I would love to care for, walk, and play with your dog so you can enjoy your time away worry-free! Unfortunately, I can't sit cats - I am allergic. Doggies only! I already walk and play with my dog outside in our fenced yard daily, so pet care is already part of my life! I work from home 2-3 days a week, so your dog would only be crated for longer periods on the days I go into the office. I would be watching your dog pretty closely for the entirety of their stay, except when they are crated if I am not home. They would sleep either in the crate or if comfortable with both, on Luchi's dog bed with him. I can feed them 2x a day or whatever schedule is typical. We would go for walks daily.

“Rachel squeezed our dog Banjo in last minute for daycare while we were visiting Minneapolis. She communicated great and Banjo came home exhausted from playing all day, which is exactly what we hoped! Thank you Rachel!”

About: I love taking care of these little ones at my home, they are like family to me, they are loved and well taken care of. For as long as I can remember, I have always been surrounded by animals and I have loved them. My grandmother was a great influence in teaching me to love them, take care of them and interpret their body language. I started taking care of pets in elementary school; when our neighbors went on vacation, I took care of their cat and their fish. As a child, I have had many beloved pets, including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, parakeets, lizards, hamsters and a mouse. Currently, I have a cat that used to be wild called Ociris that appears with me in the profile photo Dog walks, Daily visits, Bathroom breaks, Overnight pet care, 24-hour care , Dog parks, excursions, Pet taxi, Kitten care, and Weekly pet care for travel.

“Sara was fantastic! She was very communicative and did a superb job caring for Millie. She provided an update halfway through the day and included a photo as well :) She went above and beyond and even took Millie for a walk! I would definitely use Sara’s services again and would recommend her to other pet parents!”

“Good communication, easy drop off, and very thankful for the flexibility! My dog, Ebo, was well taken care of and enjoyed his days there”

“Abby did great! She asked permission before having Bella play with another dog which I love and she was always giving me updated with pictures and I didn’t even have to ask! I would definitely recommend Abby!”

“Great as usual! Chloe is always reliable and professional.”

About: About 10 years ago when I was in middle school, my family and I took in an older Yorkshire Terrier when my brother found her wandering outside our driveway one evening. We didn't know what to name her so I named her Tango because she liked to hop on her back legs and paw at our legs like she was doing the Tango. With my brother busy getting ready for college, I made sure to take care of her by taking her for walks and feeding her in the morning and afternoon. I would also pick her up and put her on the couch so she could be next to me while I was working. As she got older, I made sure I was even more gentle and more conscious of giving her the right amounts of food as well as not giving her too much human food. These experiences with Tango helped me become more empathetic and understanding when taking care of other older pets. During summers, I would either take care of family friends' pets at home or I would go over to their place and walk their pet, give him/her food, and make sure they were doing okay. While my dog is a small Yorkshire Terrier, I do have experience with bigger dogs such as golden retrievers and labs. I work full-time as a software engineer but I'm mostly remote. I go into the office on Tuesdays but I'm working from home all other weekdays and I'm free most weekends. I'm totally fine with pets being on my bed or couch or just laying on the ground. I would make sure the pets are being walked regularly (at least 2x per day) and fed based on the suggestions of the pet's owner. I'm very flexible so I can adapt to the needs of the dog and the requirements set by the owner.

About: I have my own dog (a Newfoundland named Annie) and my family has had dogs since before I was born. I've volunteered at animal shelters and frequently dog sit for friends and family so figured why not start on Rover! I've used Rover to find dog sitters for my own pup! I work from home and really limit my social outings because my dog has separation anxiety so we are often at home chilling on the couch watching Netflix! I am home to play, walk your dog often, and be on whatever feeding and medicine schedule they need! I will listen to what the owners say their pup(s) needs are because every pet is different! Unless told otherwise, in my home, your fur baby will have plenty of toys to play with, dog beds to pick from, and tons of walks per day.
