17. Susan P.
About: Several years of fostering and caring for dogs, including senior dogs and some special needs. I am able to take up to three dogs at a time if they are from the same family. My home is bright and sunny and perfect for “solar-powered” dogs, and also for those who like a quiet, relaxed environment, as my own dog is older and prefers things on the calmer side. I mainly look after small dogs, but will be happy to look after very low key, well behaved larger dogs. They will be allowed on the furniture and have plenty of blankets for burrowing and snoozing, and they are welcome to sleep on my bed. Your dog will have run of the common areas of the house unless you request they be crated. I can administer medications and carry your dog up and downstairs if necessary (my home is an upper duplex, so there are stairs). I work from home and they will get to go out several times a day. If your fuzzy buddy requires multiple walks in a day, I am not the best option, but if they are happy to run around, snootle, and snooze in the fenced in garden, there will be plenty of that -especially in the summer. I work from home, so I can take your dog out as needed. They can even snooze on my lap while I work if they like. The fenced yard is small-dog proofed, and they will never be left unsupervised. If you prefer they be tethered (if they're climbers or jumpers), I have a secure ground-stake as an extra precaution. For dogs afraid of fireworks or thunder, I have a quiet doggie den space that is nearly soundproof where they can feel safe. All trash is covered and out of reach. I never go to dog parks.

18. Sara N.
About: Hello! My name is Sara and I am a healthcare professional in the Twin Cities. Although I love what I do, my true passion is animals! Ever since I was young, l've always gravitated towards animals and had dreams of working with them. Life took me towards another path, but I still have a deep profoundness towards dogs, cats, etc. I have been fostering and volunteering through a local animal rescue since 2021 and am proud to have fostered and adopted out 29 dogs and cats.... and counting! Animals bring me so much joy and adopting my dog last year was one of the best days of my life. Unfortunately, my hospice cat, Sassy, passed away last November after a lengthy battle with kidney disease. I will forever miss her and am grateful to have learned so much in regards to pet ownership through her and my dog, Hank. I am experienced in caring for senior animals, young puppies and kittens, bottle feeding, administering medications, behavior training, and so much more. I’m currently working from home full-time, so I will have plenty of time to cater towards and love on your pet! I am always available to take your dog on as many walks as needed and am home most of the time, so they will rarely ever be alone. I am very flexible with how you would like me to care for your furry friend while you are away. I like to treat all animals that come to my home as if they were my own, but I will always respect your requests as well. I will crate, if necessary, but do allow pets to roam around and be on furniture. I frequently foster other animals and dog sit for friends and family, so your pet would have some company if they enjoy being around other animals! Please let me know if your pet requires specialized care such as medication, training, behavioral support, etc. I have plenty of experience working with medication administration and reactivity in dogs.

19. Luke E.

“Luke is very responsible and his place is right next to the rooftop dog park. My puppy had so much fun playing with Luke’s dog Leia. Everything is just wonderful! Thank you Luke!”

20. Eloise G.
“Eloise G. is an exceptional dog sitter who clearly loves and understands animals. From the start, she was professional, kind, and attentive, making me feel completely at ease leaving my dog in her care. She provided regular updates and photos, which was a thoughtful touch, and it was obvious my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. Her home is clean, pet-friendly, and has a calm atmosphere that any dog would feel safe in. I came back to a relaxed, content pup who had clearly been treated like family. I highly recommend Eloise to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible dog sitter.”
