About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! Britt grew up with lots of dogs (and cats), and the whole family has experience caring for animals at all ages. Both Britt and Mike work from home full time, and are able to care for pets throughout the day and night. Our three children are in school and preschool in the neighborhood during the week, giving us several opportunities to go on daily walks. We have a large, fenced in backyard for dogs and our children to share. We do not require dogs to be crated at night or when we are away for short amounts of time. We do have a medium crate if their normal routine includes crating during short times alone at home. Our children are used to being around animals and know how to be gentle and respectful of space.

I greatly appreciated her taking him out for walks, making sure he was happy, taking him out for a multitude of potty breaks (sometimes 2 times in an hour if needed) and keeping me updated throughout the day. About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
