Pet care experience
I had an elderly/special needs dog
I grew up with two Boston terriers. When it came time for me to move out of my parents home there was still one Boston left. I adopted my baby from my mom and I took him with me to CA, where I moved. I took care of him until he passed on Christmas of 24’ when he was 17 1/2 years old. As he aged he required very special care and he needed a lot of attention. He needed to go outside once or twice every hour, needed special food, needed shoes, needed a sweater, needed, help walking long distances, and needed medication twice a day. I was lucky enough to be able to take him to work with me every day and I was able to meet his needs and I would find anything that might’ve made his life easier. In addition, when I was in San Francisco I volunteered at Muttville; a senior dog sanctuary and adoption center.

Aennessa accepted our booking with only a couple days notice, and for a holiday. She was very nice. The dogs were happy when we returned, so she must have taken good care of them.

Safety, trust & environment
I love animals so much. They are allowed to sleep in my bed and lay on my couch. Snuggles are one of the most important things that I think an animal needs. But of course I have a spot in my house to keep their water and food if they graze. I am 100% comfortable with giving the medication, I have dealt with that before. There are no pets that currently live in my home, so that is not an issue. And my apartment is small and there is nowhere that they can get into any cracks or tunnels. I do not have a yard but I live in a nice neighborhood next to a park where I can walk dogs all the time.
A typical day
I will walk them around the neighborhood, I will take them to dog parks/parks, and take them anywhere they’re allowed in my daily life. If they like other dogs, I have dogs in my life that would love to play.
