“Betsy did an amazing job watching my miniature dachshund. I was originally going to bring him to a boarder, but after doing a test appointment it seemed like a really bad fit. He was very afraid & I definitely would've worried about him the entire time I was gone. I am SO glad I didn't go that route & instead tried out Rover & brought my little dog to Betsy because she was able to provide a comfortable environment for him. She sent updates & photos while I was out of town on a trip, which I loved! I definitely knew my dog was in great hands. Price was reasonable too! Will definitely be using her again in the future!!!”

“We were so happy with the care Erin provided for our labradoodle! Erin provided morning and evening updates and pictures each day, and was always upbeat and positive. Mocha can sometimes be little anxious, particularly in a new setting, but did great with Erin and her 2 sweet dogs. Thank you!”

It was also nice to get updates when we were away for the first time, he sent us pictures which were very helpful keeping us feeling like we made the right choice. Thank you so much Jordan! We will pass on you for friends and family!”

“Wow. What can I say. We were blown away by Emily’s kindness. She is the ultimate dog mom, sweet and caring. We took the longest trip we’ve ever taken away from our pup (miniature dachshund). Emily set up a meet and greet so our pup could meet her lovely dogs. Emily asked a ton of questions to get to know our dog. Which made me feel so much better. The meet & greet went great and meeting Emily put all my fears of leaving our pup aside. I knew our pup would be well loved and cared for and boy was she ever! We received daily updates, photos and videos. It was so nice to see her while we were so far away. Knowing she was being spoiled while we were across the world made our trip that much more enjoyable. As you all know, leaving a pup is like leaving a child. I never once worried about her. If you are looking for a loving, caring sitter for your pup, Emily is your gal. We plan to use her for our dog sitter as long as she’s willing. We are so lucky we found her!! Thank you so much, Emily!!!”

About: I've had pets for most of my life, and love all animals. We had a miniature schnauzer growing up, then in college I adopted my late cat, Boots. I recently had to say goodbye to my 12.5 year old GSD mix, Gabby. Gabby was my soul dog, and I cared for her like she was my child. Both Boots and Gabby had different health issues in their later years, so I have experience administering meds, giving feline subcutaneous fluids and have used canine mobility aids (help em up harness and wheelchair). I absolutely love watching my friends and families pets and am proud to be my friends' top choice for pet sitting while they are gone or busy. Safety is my top priority along with making sure they get the attention and exercise they need everyday. Now that I don't have any pets of my own, it would bring me great joy to help you with yours. I hope to meet you and your fur baby soon! I am currently open at any time during the week and weekends as I freelance and work from home. I prefer daytime hours from 7am to 9pm, unless I am boarding your pet at my home. I'm a highly responsible and reliable person. I take pride in the way I care for animals, and have safety and comfort at top of mind. If I board your pets, I have a fenced-in back yard and a dog friendly yard/garden. If I come to your home to walk or watch your pet, security will also be top priority.
“Jody takes amazing care of my pup. She is very diligent and caring, and has gone above and beyond for Roma when she has been sick. I trust Jody and continue to bring my dog for regular pet sitting. Jody is great.”

“Karen and Ryan were fantastic caregivers for our senior dog, Kurt. Great communication before and during the visit. Beautiful home with a wonderful fenced yard. Super flexible with drop off and pick up times. Very friendly and professional. Kurt loved his three days with them. I highly recommend Karen and Ryan for your pet-sitting needs in Minneapolis.”

“Ashley is great with our pup, Banks! She sent us some great pictures while we were skiing for the day! Thank you so much! We will have Banks with Ashely again :)”

“I appreciate Howie and the care he provided my pup! He had a blast and smiled all night! I feel good leaving him with Howie and I know he will be cared for the way I would.”

“Leah O, was very caring and positive with my dog & was so attentive. Thank you providing play time in your wonderful back yard and for “lovin’ on her” while she was inside!”

“Lily had another amazing day with Mark and Lely! She came back home wiped out from a fun filled day. We’re always so happy to get all the adorable pictures and updates throughout the day. We would book with them again and again!”
“Krista was so flexible with our crazy schedule and took amazing care of George. We loved receiving photo updates from her and reassurance he was doing okay. We will definitely reach out to use her again, thank you Krista!”

“Big thank you to Nathan and family for taking Lincoln today. So happy to hear how comfortable he became today. He's a bit of a handful as you know, so thank you for all you do to make him feel anxiety free.”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. About: I have enjoyed taking care of all sorts of animals and owning a wide variety throughout the years. I am available every weekend for sitting at all hours. During the week I work from home full time between 9-6pm. I can offer bathroom breaks as needed. I am very cautious while walking dogs and monitoring play time. I take care to avoid getting too close to other dogs on walks and keep a very close watch on the animal behavior during playtime and in the dog park.

“Lauren is such a wonderful person! Very personable, great communication, and she took such great care of my dog Skylar. They went for an hour-long walk around my neighborhood. Skylar looked so happy and was perfectly tired from the exercise. Highly recommend Lauren and will definitely book again!”

“Tyler will continue to be my go to dog walker when I need help getting my 2 dogs their daily exercise. My pups are spoiled with daily outings , and dog park trips - we usually average 6-8 miles per day but often hit 10-12 miles once or twice every week…. with Tyler, I have peace of mind and confidence that my dogs will get a walk and the type of exercise they are accustomed to. They always return content , satisfied and most importantly exhausted! Thanks again Tyler!”

“We hired Eleni to walk our dog, Bowser, while we were out of town and the friend watching him at night worked all day. When we discovered an 8 week old puppy under a car days before our trip, we scrambled on what to do. Eleni was more than happy to add her to the booking and spend extra time with her after the daily walks. The photos and updates were great, and we will definitely hire Eleni again in the future!”

“Kaitlyn is so great with my dog Rasmus! She takes a ton of pictures on the walks which is very much appreciated. Rasmus always has the best time on his walks with her. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a walker!”

About: I’m an Animal Science graduate and I train service dogs with Can Do Canines, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs in different environments and understanding their behavior and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, high-energy dogs, and older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to body language and routines, and I always try to make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also grew up with dogs and have hands-on experience raising and training my own family pets—including a feisty dachshund puppy who I helped train into a gentle, well-behaved dog, along with two other dogs with strong obedience and great temperaments. My background means I naturally reinforce good habits, use positive reinforcement, and keep things consistent with what your pet already knows. I truly love spending time with animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them some extra attention and cuddles. After graduating from UMN, I’ll be working part-time at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville (around 20 hours per week). My schedule varies slightly week to week, but this also gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. Outside of my shifts, I have a wide availability and love filling my time caring for pets. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can often accommodate mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended stays. I currently provide care in clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable in their own environment and routine. I always take the time to learn your pet’s schedule, preferences, and any specific instructions so I can keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. Safety is my top priority. I’m very attentive to surroundings on walks and in the home, and always monitor pets closely. With my background training service dogs, I’m confident handling a variety of behaviors and situations calmly and responsibly. I also have experience administering medications, including oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions when needed. I respect your home as if it were my own, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left them. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and communicate as much as you’d like so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Kayla was a life saver for me this past week! I typically work from home but was traveling for work - so Kayla came over during the workdays to take Barley for a walk. She was flexible, responsive, and loving towards my two-year-old golden. She even offered to bring Barley a raincoat when it was raining one day the days! I will definitely be using Kayla again on my next work trip!”

About: I grew up with dogs and love spending time with them. I’m excited to give your dog a safe space and play with them! I don’t currently have a pet of my own so I love dog sitting. Flexible during each day of the week and flexible during work hours as well. Please give notice when scheduling or canceling a time with me. I live in an apartment with a lot of green space and parks around. Plenty of dog friendly walking. I’m comfortable adjusting to your homes environment as well to ensure the dogs needs are met.

“Madisen has been so wonderful with my dogs! I trust her completely to take great care of them. She keeps me updated and sends lots of adorable photos too. I’d recommend her to anyone!”

About: Hi! I’m Steph — a full-time pet caregiver through Rover and the heart behind a growing pet photography business. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13 and have experience with all kinds of animals, from high-energy pups to quiet companions. I share my life with my dog Scooby, who’s a big lovebug and gets along great with both people and other animals, and two leopard geckos, Helios and Haku, who each have their own little quirks and charm. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I also have hands-on experience with pet nutrition and wellness—I've worked with a variety of healthy foods, natural supplements, and holistic care routines. I’m great at picking up on subtle signs when something’s off and take pet health seriously. Whether we’re playing fetch, going for a walk, or just snuggling on the couch, I’m all about creating a calm, loving environment where your pet feels safe and cared for. I tailor my care to each animal’s unique personality and needs, and I always follow your instructions to a T—because your peace of mind matters just as much as your pet’s happiness. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels loved, understood, and completely at ease while you’re away. I am very flexible with my schedule so please feel free to send me a request or a direct message to sent up an appointment! I have worked with certified fear free trainers as well as being a groomer for 3 years now I am very aware of animal body language and how to meet their needs so they feel safe in their environment. I do have a dachshund mix named Scooby that is incredibly friendly with Small to XL dogs. She’s always up for having a play date!

“Kendall stayed with my two energetic dogs for a long weekend. She was great about regular updates and photos and treated my two girls like loved family members. Thanks Kendall!”

I have a weekday evening commitment a couple times a week, but I can easily work around that two hour block of time. I love animals and will do everything I can to take care of yours as if they're my own. Let's discuss medical needs before booking, and I will make sure I have your vet's information in case of emergencies. I require a meet & greet for first time bookings. This is a complimentary visit to meet your animals, learn the routines, and ask each other any questions we need to make sure they get the best care.
