About: Hi! I’m a grad student at UMN who absolutely loves animals. In college, I volunteered at the Humane Society every week taking care of cats who had special medical needs (such as ringworm). I also frequently walked dogs at local shelters in the area. Additionally, I worked as a veterinary surgical assistant helping to care for both cats and dogs as they underwent a variety of procedures. So, I’m very comfortable with all kinds of personalities, needs and ages! I love spending time being active outdoors - whether it’s long walks, runs, hikes, or rollerblading! I also have a cozy couch that is perfect for snuggling up with furry friends and reading or watching a movie. I’ll treat your pet with lots care and make sure they feel loved and safe while you’re gone. I am a dental student with a flexible weekend schedule, so I am regularly available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My schedule varies, but I often have a couple of days during the week where I study from home, so I will have lots of time to spend with your furry friend! I have a large studio apartment with lots of windows. My apartment has a big rooftop dog run where your pup will be able to play and go potty! There are also lots of walking paths nearby where I will be able to take them on walks.

About: I love befriending a timid dogs and loving on friendly dogs. I have grown up around dogs my whole life and getting to meet a new one is tge highlight of my week every time. I am patient and loving, and when working in people’s homes have never met a dog or cat who I didn’t befriend. Your baby will become my new best friend if you give me the chance. I am currently working part time so I have lots of time to play with and care for your pets! I am currently free on alternating Tuesdays, and every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday! I am even willing to potentially work in Monday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings as needed on a case by case basis. I care for my own cat 24/7, litterbox, food schedule, treats, playtime, cuddles, you name it. I will do my best to earn your trust and your pet’s trust before pushing them into anything they might feel uncomfortable with. Im patient and loving and will give your pets all the attention and care I have to give.

About: I've lived with animals my entire life and have been taking care of my own since I was about 7 years old. I've had a few dogs in my family: a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow; with experience from puppies to seniors. Cats have also been a constant throughout my whole life, from kittens to seniors as well. There hasn't been a moment I haven't had at least one cat in my home. I've had a few other kinds of smaller critters too: guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and lizards. I'm well versed in pet body language and reading what they desire or need, and have lots of love to give your baby(ies)! They deserve the world. I absolutely adore all animals and spending time with them is my favorite activity. I have plenty of free time right now and can spend as much time as needed with your fur baby and make frequent check-ins or walks if desired! If your companion(s) is friendly to strangers, I will be sure to give them plenty of attention, play time, petting, and walks (if applicable) in addition to basic care and any other requests. If they're not comfortable with new people, I will respect their space and boundaries based on what they're telling me so they feel relaxed and safe. Every animal is different and I adapt to their personality and pace.

About: Aside from caring for my own dogs, cats, and amphibians throughout my childhood and early adulthood, I have 1 year of experience working at a doggy daycare. I am also the go-to long and short term sitter within my network for dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals of all ages, sizes and medical conditions. I work a flexible schedule 40 hours a week and working from home is often a possibility. On a typical day, I would leave for work around 8.30 AM and return around 4.30 PM. I can take a long lunch (~1 hour) for bathroom or walk breaks midday. I have years of experience caring for pets—especially dogs and cats—both in my home and in clients’ homes. I always prioritize their comfort and safety, whether that means keeping your pet company with my own friendly dogs, providing quiet crate time if needed, or maintaining routines they’re used to. I am also happy to help with extra tasks like watering plants, collecting mail, and taking out the trash bins on designated days to keep your home running smoothly. I currently live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with a large dog run. For cats, my balcony will be off limits during visits for safety reasons.

About: I've had a love for animals my entire life. I grew up in the country, and with that I have had many experiences with all kinds of animals, big and small. At one point in high school, I worked on a farm milking cows and tending calves. I've watched many of my friends' animals, dogs and cats mainly, and I have my own cat at home. I've worked in many different care giving jobs, from nannying to being a care attendant for older adults. I've also volunteered many times at the animal shelter and worked at my friend's dog bar. If you're looking for a space where your animal will be loved as they are at home, this is the one for you! I'm currently a student and part-time worker. I graduate this May, where I will be transitioning into the corporate world. I spend most of my days at home (often times leaving the house once or twice a week), as I do school and work most days at home. I'm someone who believes in taking care of an animal as you would a human. This means having a clean environment, enriching activities, playing with them often, and giving them the same quality of food I'd want. I am attentive, aware, and caring when it comes to animals, and I believe in meeting their needs at the highest level possible. My own animal being a great example.

I'm known as a great communicator, and will be a reliable presence in your dog's life, whether on a walk or spending time together while you're away. I currently have a hybrid work schedule, and can work around your schedule. If I am staying at your place, I would be away from your pet for no more than 4 hours at a time. I love taking walks and will keep your dog well-exercised. I'm also a fan of dog enrichment activities, and can keep their mind engaged in addition to walks. If your dog is ok with cars, I'm also happy to take them on hikes in nearby nature areas. I'm a clean, quiet house guest, and respect the fact that I'm entering your space as a guest.

On weekends, I work short 4 hour shifts at a hospital, but I still have plenty of time before and after shifts to check in. I prioritize scheduling so pets receive reliable care. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and comfort level. I follow meal schedules, walking routines, medications, and any special instructions closely. For overnight stays, I make sure pets feel safe and relaxed by keeping bedtime routines, providing companionship, and monitoring them throughout the night. I prioritize clean spaces, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and affection. I also provide updates and photos so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for.

I work with a hybrid set up and recently sold my house. I have plenty of free time on the weekends and week nights and love to stay active and spend time with dogs.
