About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. I've had a few dogs in my family: a chihuahua, shar pei, golden retriever, pomeranian, dachshund, and a chow chow; with experience from puppies to seniors. About: I’m a college student who had the pleasure to work with the PAWS program at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. My favorite thing in the world is hosting those angels in my residence. I’m currently taking summer classes but when im not in school i’m usually pretty free. I walk everyday in the morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole life, from kittens to seniors, and since I was 12 I’ve watched my friends and neighbors dogs as well. I’ve given both cats and dogs medication as well as bottle fed them if they were too young for solid food. I have an incredibly flexible hybrid work schedule! Whatever you or your pets needs, I will be able to meet them without any work conflicts. You know your pet better than anyone. Whatever instructions you give me to keep them safe, happy, and healthy, I promise to follow exactly. For several years, I volunteered at an animal shelter where I spent time walking, running with, and socializing dogs who came from many different situations. About: I have 23 years of pet ownership experience (cats, reptiles, and a simple fish tank). I also have a bit of volunteer experience training service dogs and have taken care of friends' pets while they're away. I work my other job from home and determine my own hours, so my schedule is generally very flexible. I have a weekday evening commitment a couple times a week, but I can easily work around that two hour block of time. About: I've always been a pet lover. Did pet sitting as a pre-teen and teenager. I had a soul cat for 15 years and a soul dog for 13 years. I have 2 grand-pups who I often dog sit or just take for a day adventure. I've had guinea pigs, hampsters, fish, you name it. I pass you and your animal on the street don't be offended by me going straight to them first! Animals (all animals) seem to love me back too which I LOVE! I'm currently not working or occasionally working remote contract jobs so I have plenty of time to spend spoiling your furr baby! And spoil them I will!!!! I have a condo in Minneapolis near the Sculpture Garden and Loring park. I am on the first floor with a patio and yard so plenty of space to do their business or to take a great walk. My building is small and very pet friendly. I'm also comfortable traveling out to your home since I'm central to the area.
