“Tori was well taken care of during her stay at Susie’s. Susie is delightful and enjoys keeping dogs. You can see by her enthusiasm and sense of pride in her care. Definitely will use her again.”

This is my first time using Rover, but because of Liam, I will for sure be using him and this site again! Thanks for an amazing first experience for both Max and I”

“Lizzy was absolutely amazing with my pup Scott! Throughout my trip, she was super attentive, always kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. She responded quickly and showed so much love and care for him. I’m really happy with her service and would definitely recommend Lizzy again and again! 🐾”

“Our Corgi, Tilly, had a fantastic experience with Megan and Michael! They were so kind, attentive, and did a great job communicating with us during her stay. I give them the highest recommendation!”

“Alvin had a fabulous time with Elsa and Nick. He learned how to go down stairs and jump onto the sofa. After 2 years I have never been able to teach hi. To see him happily descending stairs was a wonderful shock. It was wonderful to receive pictures, videos and updates daily. Alvin has only stayed away from me twice, and often ignores my visitors. So seeing how much he enjoyed his one on one pampering by Elsa and Nick was wonderful. I will be booking a date in May. Thanks for taking such wonderful care of him.”

About: 🐱 I’ve been around cats for most of my life and currently have two of my own. I found my emotional support cat in 2015, and he’s been by my side ever since- even traveling with me through college. In December 2024, I adopted another sweet girl cat, so caring for cats has become a huge part of my everyday life. I also volunteer at a shelter as a “Cat Buddy,” where I spend time socializing and caring for cats with all kinds of personalities and comfort levels. Over the years, I’ve developed a really special connection with cats and genuinely love earning their trust, whether they’re playful, shy, independent, or super affectionate. I know every cat is different, and I always try to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away through patience, attention, play, and companionship.
“Sierra did a great job of showing up on time and caring for my kitty. I was really comfortable with her during our meet and greet, Peepers was too so I knew it would be a good fit. I will definitely look for Sierra’s availability next time I need to travel. Thanks!”

“Ciboney was great with my cat and I could tell by the pictures she sent that my cat enjoyed her as well. Timely and responsible - would definitely recommend!”

“Jessica was timely, cheerful and took great photos! Easy to schedule with and provided plenty of feedback. Highly recommend, thank you for watching the girls!”

“Emily is awesome! Very kind, friendly, and persevered through difficulties in getting into our building. Will definitely have Emily take care of our cat, Augie in the future.”

“Ashley took great care of our two cats! She was extremely communicative, dedicated time and attention to making sure they were active, and made sure they exhibited normal eating/drinking habits while we were traveling. Loved the pictures as well!”

“We chose to hire Sophia as our very first sitter from Rover, and could not be more pleased with the wonderful care she took to look after our cats! Sophia communicated promptly and shared photos and videos during every drop-in visit. Both cats were clearly very content with Sophia’s care, and we were very pleasantly surprised when our very shy cat, who typically hides when strangers visit, was already happy to be out and about on Sophia’s first visit! We absolutely would recommend Sophia to others looking for compassionate care.”

“Kristi was an excellent sitter! Very professional and communicative. She went above and beyond and I felt my cat was completely safe in her hands. Will not hesitate to book again in the future”

“Anna is such an attentive and consistent sitter and goes above and beyond. I always feel like my cat is in good hands! I will definitely rebook in the future.”

About: Cat owner since childhood, cat sitter since high school, and cat lover since birth. I have 20 years of experience caring for my own kitty companions along with pet and house-sitting for others. I've coaxed food, detangled mats, successfully snuck oral syringes, clipped claws, combed out fleas, popped pills, decoded morose meows, wiped butts, and scooped a whole lot of poop. I am well-versed in the subtleties of cat body language and highly perceptive of any small changes that might indicate illness or distress. I have experience caring for elderly cats with health issues including gastrointestinal, kidney disease, frequent UTIs, and respitory changes. I also have experience caring for cats who love to munch on plastic bags, leap into open fridges, sneeze in my face, and choose scraps of paper and cardboard boxes over premium catnip mice and luxury cat sofas. I'm responsible and dependable with a clean background check and driving record, own reliable transportation, and currently have few commitments and a very open schedule so frankly I would love nothing more than to get your mail, water your plants, and cuddle your cats. Available for full day and overnight stays or daily drop-ins and will happily provide detailed updates and photos as requested. I look forward to getting to know your closest companions and honoring their unique needs, and I promise they will love every meow-ment with me! (And I have a feline I will too)
“Dave was a fantastic sitter, so much so that I decided to keep him as my permanent one after using Rover for 2 years! My cat is very needy and he spent so much time with her, along with getting his whole family involved in her care and consistent updates. Could not rate him more highly!”

“My second time booking with Amber, and she does not disappoint! Thank you for taking such good care of my babies and keeping me posted with detailed reports and photos. I really appreciate you!”

“Chloe was a superb dog sitter! We are so grateful she could stop in to care for our senior dog when we needed extra support. Would totally have Chloe back again.”

“Teresa did a great job as always taking care of Beans, Norman and Baby Girl. It's great to know they're in great hands while I'm away and I love all the updates she sends. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great pet sitter!”

“Hopps has enjoyed his days with Kara and the family. He looks forward to playing in the yard with Oscar, walks with the kiddos and having someone to follow around all day. Kara is so great at documenting the day with pictures and reporting on his activities. I know he’s in good hands 😊”

“Lizzy & her husband took GiGi for a fun hour long walk in the snow. They gave her a lot of attention and cuddles. They will be great caregivers for your pet.”

“Kira and Alejandro are wonderful with my dog Atlas! They spent lots of time outside with him today and he had a blast playing with another dog. I know he’s in really good hands every time I leave him with them! He comes back home much better adjusted than when I drop him at the noisy dog daycare place which can often overstimulate him.”

“This was our first time using Roover, and Rachel made the experience smooth and stress free. Our dog had a great day with her, and Rachel sent lots of updates and pictures!”

“Very flexible, great communication, and friendly! My pup had a great time and I felt confident that he was in good hands. Would definitely book again!”

“First doggie sitter for our Harper and did we score big time!! Alyson is amazing. Harper came home happy and tired. It must have been a great time!! Thanks Alyson.”

“Fernanda took great care of our dog. He was a little anxious because he had been traveling for several weeks and in lots of new places. She noticed his anxiety, and took him out in her yard to play. Perfect. He even ate a meal with her without needing special feeding (which he’d been struggling to do in new surroundings). Fernanda was easy to work with and a great communicator. I’d definitely use Fernanda again next time we’re in town.”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
“Thank you, Noelle, for being so caring with GiGi! I’m glad that she could enjoy your huge fenced yard and was able to chill at your house. Thanks for the pictures. It is true that she felt so comfortable with you so leaned up against your leg and loved to be petted. :) I WILL CALL AGAIN FOR GIGI’s DOGGY DAY CARE IN THE FUTURE!”

“Karen and Ryan were fantastic caregivers for our senior dog, Kurt. Great communication before and during the visit. Beautiful home with a wonderful fenced yard. Super flexible with drop off and pick up times. Very friendly and professional. Kurt loved his three days with them. I highly recommend Karen and Ryan for your pet-sitting needs in Minneapolis.”
“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“We met Takenya for doggie daycare, and our dog had a wonderful day! Takenya LOVES dogs and it shows. Remy immediately took to her and the several photos and videos she sent showed how comfortable he was in her home and with her. He came home happy and tired🥳 Thank you, Takenya for caring so deeply and communicating so well!”

“We loved having Lindsey watch our dog, Maaya. She was very easy to communicate and coordinate with. She also shared lots of details and photos at the end of each day. Would highly recommend and have her watch Maaya again.”

About: My family had 3 dogs growing up so I am very experienced with walking, interacting with and loving animals! I would love to watch your dog for the weekend, a few week days or whenever needed! I currently work from home 4 days out of the week so I would be able to stay home and take the dog outside or for a quick walk easily. I live with my fiancé who also works from home frequently and helps me out with the dog if needed. Weekends get booked up quick but we’d love some company to go for a walk, go to the dog park, or hang out if we are free! I live in an apartment but live right across the street from a large popular park that I walk around regularly. The park is very popular with pet owners as well.
“We needed help watching our dog during the day while moving and Sally was great! I got multiple very cute updates of him each day and it seemed like he had a great time playing and running in the backyard. She was also very flexible with drop off and pick up times.”

“This was our first time using Rover, and Nathan made the experience seamless. He was wonderful about meeting our dog on our dog's own terms—gentle, approachable, and incredibly communicative. I really appreciated that he had a thoughtful plan to make our dog feel welcome in his home and comfortable around his other dog guests.”

“Great First Experience with Rover I used Rover for the first time to find a last-minute dog walker, and it was a fantastic experience. My walker was super communicative, accommodating, and made the process stress-free. I got updates, photos, and a happy pup at the end. Highly recommend and will use again!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cared for them since I was 5 years old. I’ve had experience with both puppies and older dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages. I love spending time with dogs, especially taking them for walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel well cared for! I work every other weekend (Friday–Sunday) in the evenings at a hospital and have classes Monday through Wednesday afternoons. Outside of those commitments, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to let dogs out, take them for walks, and give them the attention and care they need. I’m happy to work with each pet’s routine and make sure they get plenty of exercise and companionship! I treat every pet as if they were my own and follow each owner’s instructions to maintain their pet’s normal routine. When caring for pets or stopping by for walks and visits, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, meals, and lots of affection. I prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and happy while also providing updates and communication so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.
“Anna has been absolutely amazing to our sweet pup! She makes sure he gets plenty of exercise & I get lots of photos of their adventures which I love!”

About: Hello! I have been consistently house/dog sitting since 2023. I have experience in watching dogs from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I previously have watched three dogs at a time, so if you have more than one dog that is no problem. I also have experience in providing dogs with medications needed throughout the day. This includes insulin shots and capsules/pills mixed into their food. While you are away I prefer to keep the dog in its original home rather than hosting your dog. I do require a meet & greet before services. This is for my safety alongside for you and your puppies comfortability with my presence. Beyond all else it’s important to me that your dog stays comfortable. I have cared for anxious, storm scared, epileptic, loud barkers, and jumpy puppies. It’s important to me that you communicate your animals behavior or traits so I can care to the best of my ability. Without a doubt I will accommodate to your dogs feeding requirements and potty breaks. Alongside that give them lots of cuddles, kisses, playtime, and walks. As for you… I will communicate how your puppy is doing, when I arrive, if any complications arise, and send photos! Your dog is in safe hands. I currently work at a coffee shop a few times a week! My hours usually range from 4-5 hours. So it’s never long enough to leave your puppy for long periods of time. I will always honor your puppies scheduled eating times and potty breaks throughout the day! Pets are so so important! As a caregiver, I want to relieve your stress and allow you to know that your pets are in safe hands! If you would be so kind to welcome me into your home, I can take care of them there. I would prefer to keep your animals where they feel most comfortable. A fenced in backyard is preferred, but taking them out on a walk is no hassle! Provide me with all of the important details on your puppy, and I can provide service towards them! ❤️
About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. Once the school year starts, our calendar reflects our weekend and school break availability! We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)
About: I’m a college student who had the pleasure to work with the PAWS program at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. My favorite thing in the world is hosting those angels in my residence. I’m currently taking classes mostly Monday and Wednesday morning but when i’m not in school i’m usually pretty free. I walk everyday in the morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! I prefer to adjust to the owner’s style rather than doing my own way. I’ve learned that cats and dogs especially can get pretty uncomfortable with sudden changes to their routines and schedules.

About: Growing up, animals were always part of my life. My aunt managed our town’s humane society, so our home was often full of pets and foster animals. I grew up caring for both dogs and cats and have been hands-on with daily care for as long as I can remember. I’m patient, calm, and easygoing, and I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities. I have experience with everything from playful puppies to senior pets, and I pay close attention to routines, body language, and individual needs to make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company, I treat every animal like my own. I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and providing loving, stress-free care while you’re away. 🐾 I currently work part-time, which leaves much of my days available to give your pets love and attention. I have a good amount of flexibility, and keep my Rover availability up to date based on my work schedule :) It is important to me for your pets to feel safe and comfortable in their spaces, and I pride myself on being patient, calm, and caring even in the face of stressed or shy animals.

About: I’ve always had animals to take care of since I can remember. Both cats and dogs, and even some other small animals/exotic pets. I worked at a boarding facility with daycare, and I have fostered many dogs in the past. I’m an animal science major and have many hours of experience working with animals of all kinds. I have worked with reactive dogs and I’m always up for keeping your routine consistent with any training you might be working on as well! I will be working a summer job along with pet-sitting this summer. I will only be working max 8 hour shifts and will always have time to care for my own pets, along with yours. If you choose me to take care of them. I have an unfenced yard, but I do have a tether that I can attach a dog to. But of course, I can walk them around the yard on a leash, if that works better for the dog! A typical day with my dog looks like: Wake up and immediately feed him and replenish his water, then out for a potty break. We then spend some time relaxing while I get ready for the day. If he wants, we spend some time inside playing with toys. If I need to go to work, he resides in the common areas of the house. He will always get let out before I leave. If we spend a lot of time inside/if I have to work, I’ll get home and we usually go for a walk to get some energy out. We usually do some training and other daily activities either on the walk or after. Then in the evening he eats again, we go out for a potty break. Normally my dog doesn’t have an overabundance of energy, so we spend the rest of the night cuddling on the couch.

About: Hi, I’m Lydia — dog mom, belly rub expert, and professional sniff-spot scout. I’ve spent 15 years learning what dogs actually want (hint: it’s all of the above), and a lifetime growing up with dogs and cats of every personality. Energetic or chill, young or old, I’ve got them covered. My daily and weekly routine revolves around pet care. My dog is my first thought when I wake up and the last thing I worry about before bed. I have an abundance of parks near my home that I can take your fur baby to for both exercise and play. I love a good adventure.
“Emily took great care of our dogs! She was on time for our meet and greet and made sure she got to know both Pete and Rosie. When she came to walk the dogs, she was able to get Rosie outside and down the road (which is a big accomplishment with a timid, blind dog)! We definitely would recommend Emily.”

“Abby has been providing weekly walks for my pup when i have work in the office for the last 5 months and has been fabulous! She’s an excellent communicator and will always send pictures with the sweetest little summary of the walk every time, which brightens my day at work. And my dog absolutely loves her. She’s the best and I totally trust my dog in her care.”

About: I've been caring for neighborhood pets since I was 13, and now I’ve been all over the Minneapolis area! My family rescue dog and elderly cat are my babies, they make me the best temporary pet parent I can be for you. I lost one of my elderly cats rather suddenly this fall, so I can say I definitely understand the anxiety of being away from your pets especially those with health issues or behavior quirks. I do what I do because of her, and as a Minneapolis transplant away from my animals, I am more than happy to spend time with yours! I work part-time, though my hours fall in the 9-5 window. However, there is flexibility for me to work remotely for part or sometimes full days with advance notice, depending on the project. I can usually accommodate whatever exercise your pet needs! I am also a dancer, so if your dog has acute health issues or requires constant supervision, we may not be the best fit, as training does require me to be out of the house in the evening. No 4-hour rehearsals right now, but I do take class most days of the week. I'll do my best to stick to a comfortable, consistent routine for your pet and make sure they get all the proper attention and love they need while you are gone. I'm happy to accommodate any medication or feeding requirements.
About: I am dependable and fun animal lover with over 10 years experience pet sitting and dog walking. I’ve cared for newly adopted puppies and kitties, as well as senior animals, and every age in between. I’m experienced in upholding strict training, feeding, exercise, and potty schedules, as well as administering medications and walking reactive dogs. I’m currently preparing to go back to school for a master’s degree, so I’m studying online with an open and flexible schedule. I’m open to short-term, long-term, once off, or reoccurring gigs with your pets! I will care for your pets as if they are my own. Their safety is my top priority. I love to provide updates and photos as often as possible so you can be reassured your pet is happy and healthy while they wait for you to come home!
About: Hi, I'm Kristi! I'm a PhD student at the University of Minnesota, and I am a major animal lover (dogs, cats, birds, you name it.) I love dogs of all breeds, and I'd love to take yours on a walk! I also adore cats. I have two cats, Darcy and Pebbles, who are my babies. I've also been volunteering for Feline Rescue, a Saint Paul-based cat rescue, for three years now. I have a lot of experience with both cats and dogs and am happy to do drop-in visits for you! My schedule is very flexible. I'm working on research for graduate school, and I have very few fixed time commitments, so I'm available to walk your dog or visit your pets whenever! I look forward to taking care of your pet! I'll make sure they have food and water, are fully entertained, and receive any care that you request! I am also comfortable giving medications.

He got lots of playtime and love, and I had complete peace of mind while I was away. I cannot recommend Promise enough and already have my dog’s next stay booked with her. Thank you, Promise!!”

“Doc and Heather are wonderful dogsitters, and leaving my dog with them when I travel always gives me peace of mind. They take great care of her, send lots of photos, and are super communicative!”

“This is our second time having our pups stay with Eric and Martha and it was just as amazing as the first time! They’re our first choice when we are in need of a sitter and our dogs are so excited to see them! 🩷💙”

“Brittany did a wonderful job. Our dog showed no signs of stress when we picked him up and Brittany was very accommodating when we had health issues and needed to extend our dog’s time with her due to our personal health issues.”

“It was a pleasure to meet Ashley, and I couldn't have asked for better care for Miley, our pup. Ashley walked her several times a day, encouraged me to bring Miley's bed and comfort items to make the home familiar and comfortable, and sent pictures during the week. We returned home to a dog that was happy to see us, but clearly comfortable and well cared for. Our thanks to Ashley, we will look forward to having her care for Miley in the future.”
