“My cat is always content when I arrive home. Maddy does a wonderful job and I love the pictures she sends! She is reliable and friendly. 5 stars! Would recommend!”
“Clara took excellent care of my kitties while I was away! Great communication and response time. I would recommend Clara for any of your pet sitting needs!”

“Andrew was extremely communicative, very attentive to our cat Niles’ needs, he took a lot of pictures of our kitty to reassure us, and went above and beyond taking care of our cat. Book him!”

“Brooke took great care of our dog and cat! She was reliable and thoughtful, and stayed with our dog until he ate each visit. Our grouchy cat even enjoyed her company and purred for her when she came over!”

“Annalise was wonderful with my two furbabies. This was the first time that I have left them for more than three days, and after moving three months ago. She was so patient when the security process at my building was not perfect, and was so communicative throughout the week I was away. I will definitely ask her yo look after Roux and Beignet again!”

“Carla was very responsive, from when I first reached out through all of her drop ins. Easy to work with, gave helpful updates, gave Callie love while we were away. Thanks!!”

“Jessie did a great job caring for my lovely kitty, Cora, while I was out of town. She made sure that the food, water, and the litter box were all taken care of. No hungry kitty here. Since Jessie lives nearby, it was easy for her to run over, and I appreciated that. I would certainly recommend Jessie to anyone here on Rover for both her cat and dog caring skills.”

About: I had a beagle, Milo, for 12 years. Although I was not around too much at the end for college, I helped out a lot with taking care of him throughout high school. I taught him tricks, took him on walks everyday, learned how to give him a bath, as well as keep him entertained. Lately, I’ve been focusing on interactive simulation puzzles for pets which is something that is shown to be a positive experience for them! I can attend to small and medium dogs, I have the patience and readiness to provide the best care for all dogs alike! Currently a full time student at the University of Pittsburgh, and I am back home for internship. I have some downtime and would love to give back to the animals that give us so much! I’d be able to have a flexible schedule throughout the week and sometimes the weekends. I live in a safe neighborhood near Minnehaha Pkwy and Chicago Ave. Safety is number one priority, weather I’m at home, on the streets, or at a park, I always ensure that the environment is fit for each dog I take care of.
“Reyhan was a great sitter for my cat! Communication was excellent everyday showing food/water checks and detailing the day’s activities while I was away and I loved the cute Polaroid Reyhan left us of Huey on the last day!”

“Sabrina was great with our dog Charlie! She came over when she said she would, walked and stayed with him for the appropriate amount of time. When we got home we could tell Charlie was happy and perfectly taken care of. Will be booking again!”

“Shannon is the best! She truly cares for your pets and it’s such peace of mind. She spends extra time giving cuddles which is all we want! Highly recommend her.”

“Natalie is so kind, very trustworthy and open to anything you need help with while you’re gone. She asked if it was Ok to bring along her daughter which was great, our kitty really seemed to love her! She played with her on the floor and gave her lots of attention. It is not uncommon for our kitty to hide when new visitors come over but this wasn’t the case this time! It was so reassuring getting photos of our pets while we were gone too. Our 3 guinea pigs were well taken care of as well. I highly recommend Natalie and we hope to use her again, Thank you!”

East Harriet pet parents share their Rover experiences
I had to be out of town unexpectedly and needed someone to watch my cats last minute - Maddy was the perfect choice and I’m so thankful to her for taking care of my boys! They were clearly so happy and comfortable with Maddy, I was able to be away and have peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of. I will definitely be booking with Maddy again when I need to go out of town!

Rachel was excellent with Tillie. This was the first time we left Tillie alone since the death of our older cat and were worried how she would do. After meeting Rachel, we knew that she would be in excellent hands and we were correct. We received daily updates and were able to enjoy our time away. We will definitely book with Rachel again.

Darwin did an amazing job with Gimpy and ensure that she was well taken care of. She’s a pretty shy cat and was able to warm up to him in the short time I was gone. He took a good amount of pictures and made sure the apartment appeared in order (in addition to what I had requested). Would 10/10 recommend!

Highly recommended! Ava was a wonderful pet sitter for our two cats. She was attentive to them and to our needs to know that all was well. She sent lots of pictures and made lots of notes showing she got to know the cats. She spent a lot of time at the house giving them attention. We will ask Ava to care for our pets next time we need help. 5 stars!

Emilie was wonderful during our extended time away (about 2 weeks), caring for our rambunctious cattle dog mix and senior tortoise shell cat. She maintained clear communication throughout, provided updates and photos, and really seemed to help our pets cope with our time away. Notably, this was all during a deep freeze in Minnesota with several days of double digits below zero in a row, which meant our dog wasn't about to go for walks or play in the yard for extended periods. On this front, Emilie did training sessions with our dog to help with some enrichment/indoor activity, which we really appreciate. And amidst this deep freeze there was some shoveling, trickling of water to make sure our pipes didn't freeze or burst etc. All in all a really wonderful and dependable person to turn to if you need someone to watch your pets (and home).
