“Amy is fantastic! She definitely knows dogs and is comfortable, capable, and trustworthy. She has been walking our Pearl for a few weeks now and it has worked out great. Pearl needs a lot of exercise and Amy takes her out on long walks with her dog, Luna, and they have lots of adventures, like seeing ducks, smelling good spring smells, and playing together. I feel so much better during the day knowing that Pearl will get a long walk and some social time!”

About: *Please note, I live in a condo building. If your dog tends to bark, I am not a good fit. They also must be potty trained. Since joining Rover I have cared for cats, large dogs, old dogs and small dogs. I myself have had dogs my whole life. Growing up, we had four of them! I love to run and be active and I live right by the lake. Don’t let that fool you though - we certainly have our lazy days. I have an 8 year old hound mix, Ella. She keeps me busy but is also very cuddly and lazy. I have never had a problem between her and another pet. Besides her, I only watch one Rover dog or cat at a time. If I am doing a home stay, I request that I bring her with so I don’t have to run back and forth. I go into the office two days a week from roughly 9 am - 4 pm. All other days I am working from home. On the weekends, I can let you know my plans if I might be away for a few hours. I live in a one bedroom condo, so if I go away I usually put one animal in my bedroom and my dog in my living room. I also have a cage, but if you have one you prefer to bring, I will of course take it!

“Breen is a wonderful, reliable, and trustworthy dog-walker. He has been walking our border terrier, Charlie, regularly for 10+ years. (He was walking two dogs for us but we lost Rocco to cancer in December 2021.) Breen loves dogs and dogs love Breen. It is the highlight of Charlie's day when Breen arrives. I am confident that Charlie is well cared for by Breen. He knows dog body language and behavior and can usually head off any trouble before it happens. Naomi has watched and walked Izzy and dealt with her many quirks and needs with the love and care of her own pets. Izzy will even get excited at the mention of Naomi’s name, and go start looking for her leash. Beyond the wonderful care she has provided my own animals, I trust Naomi implicitly and have recommended her to others because of the wonderful care she provides and how animals just seem to naturally gravitate towards her. On top of that, she is impeccably amazing with cats—she’s so good at reading body language. And is a winter lover, so I never feel guilty having her walk my dog in the snow when it’s cold. I cannot recommend Naomi enough!”
