“Jennifer was a wonderful sitter. She came over to meet our dogs a few days prior. They loved her! Jennifer showed up on time each day, took the dogs for walks, played with them, even brought a ball from home and brought in our mail for us. She was a great communicator and would definitely hire her again!”

About: I've been a dog sitter and walker for various friends for years. I'll treat your dog as if it were my own. Lots of TLC! I work from home in South Minneapolis until 3:30 every business day. I have another side gig that I work Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Other than that I'm flexible. I will not be housing pets in my apartment due to having two cats. Nor will I be dog sitting overnight at any off my clients houses.

Inge M.

“Inge was great to work with especially since we needed someone last minute. She was punctual, quick to respond to our messages, and very friendly. We will definitely use her again.”

Luke L.

“Thank you Luke, we very much appreciate the pictures, videos and messages. We certainly recommend Luke to others!!”

Jessica J.

“This was my first time using Rover and I picked Jessica based on her profile and location. She was nice enough to come out and meet me and my kitties before my booking which helped put me at ease. The date of the booking she was punctual and even sent me pictures of my babies so I knew they were ok. She was very sweet and even my more antisocial kitty really took to her! One might say she is an animal whisperer. I definitely recommend Jessica if you are looking for someone to check in on your fur babies.”

Catherine W.

“Catherine has been taking my dog for walks 1-2 times a week for the past several months. I really appreciate how flexible & reliable she is. She’s also kind, respectful, & she’s a great communicator. My dog loves Catherine! I trust her so much & will always check with her first when I need a hand takin care of my boy, Skip!”

Courtney K.
“Courtney is a true dog lover. She is so good with Kramer, who's such a cutie! She takes him on walks and teaches him tricks and good manners. She feeds him healthy food and plays with him frequently. Kramer follows her around like crazy and does lots of snuggling. You'll love Kramer and the owner, Courtney, is even better!”

Elena D.
“Elena has a natural bond with pets, especially dogs. She used to dog-walk and pet-sit for our neighborhood and was always timely and dependable. I would definitely recommend her services!”

About: My wife and I are previous dog and cat owners of different varieties, both small and large. We have a spacious house and yard and are located just blocks away from Powderhorn Park. We often go on walks and would love to care for your pet! We are newer to Rover though, which is why we don't have many reviews yet. We'd love to meet you and your pet! Both of us have the flexibility to work remotely, which makes us flexible and ready to be available at a moments notice. We'd love to chat with you over the phone on specifics too, but we try to maintain flexibility when we need to be in the office or at home. We have multiple security cameras positioned around the house and are sure to lock the doors when we leave. We have a spare bedroom very suitable for anxious pets who need their own space as well. For animals that need attention, we LOVE going on walks and would love to take them with us. Whether your pet loves attention and scratches or just wants to be left alone, we'd gladly take care of them!

Noel & Nathan M.
“Nathan and Noel are confident and patient with both dogs and cats. They are trustworthy and gave the best of care to our dogs and cat. Nathan has trained dogs in obedience and both are experienced walking, and playing with dogs.”

Holly R.

“Holly was great! She gave my cat all the care and snuggles he needed. I felt very safe leaving him with her :)”

Justin & Lindsay S.
“Justin is an animal lover at heart. He is kind, patient, attentive and meets pets where they are at so they can feel safe and loved. Justin was so sweet with our old pug, Ruby (who loved her belly rubs) and has been great with our new pup, Penny (who is a ball of puppy energy). He loves taking lots of walks and will throw a ball or play tug with a rope for hours! Our dog loves playing with Justin in the large, fenced in backyard and enjoys the park trails near his house. It's not easy to leave our fur baby but I feel good knowing our pup is in great hands with Justin.”

Kathryn L.

“Maverick lived having a mid-day visit with Kathryn! She spent time with him outside and even helped feed him! Loved the photo of my pup sun bathing!”

Paige W.
“Our animals love Paige and animals just know. She is timely, very considerate of our requests and our pets are just happier when we get home. Not worrying during the times she was there was a god send. We have one kitty that does not come out for many and even though Paige is there for our elderly dog she she acknowledges them as well with treats and love.”

Joy S.
About: I've had a lifelong love for animals, which began during my upbringing alongside a cherished cat and dog. Fueling this passion, I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Building on that foundation, I delved deeper into the world of veterinary care by advancing to postgraduate studies at the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine, where I earned a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine. My journey hasn't stopped at academia. I've gained invaluable experience through hands-on roles in both general practice and emergency small animal settings. As a veterinary assistant and triage assistant, I've had the privilege of contributing to the well-being of beloved pets, putting my knowledge and empathy to work on a daily basis. With a strong academic background and practical experience, I'm dedicated to providing the best possible care for animals and ensuring their health and happiness. Presently, the majority of my academic commitments are conducted in an online format, with the limited in-person classes necessitating a mere 2 to 3 hours of absence at most. Given this flexibility, the seamless incorporation of animal care responsibilities into any segment of my schedule would be eminently feasible. Ensuring your pet receives the best care possible is my top priority. This includes following your instructions for feeding and watering, making sure your pet stays mentally and physically active, and always respecting their comfort zones. In terms of what daily life would look like for your pet, they would enjoy two walks a day, each lasting about an hour. Of course, the length and frequency of these walks would depend on your dog's ability to move around and their behavior. Inside, they'd have access to the upstairs area of our home, which includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and three spacious living areas. These spaces are equipped with heating and air conditioning to keep your pet comfortable in any weather. Playtime and affection would be in abundance to keep your pet happy. It's important to note that I won't be taking them to off-leash dog parks, as these places can be risky and lead to injuries. Your pet's safety is my main concern.
