About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. Drop them off at our place and they'll get a play buddy for the day, a mid-day walk, frequent back yard breaks, and plenty of treats and pets. One of us is almost always working from home, and we'd love to host your pup. Our dog's name is Odie. He's 4 years old, and gets along with most dogs. He's a great host and is playful and curious with other generally friendly dogs. Reach out and we can set something up! My partner and I take care of our dog together on a continuous basis. Your pet would be given all of the love, time, and attention that our pet receives. We will select booking dates on days where one or both of us will be home for the entire day. We have a fenced in yard and one fur baby. Odie gets along really well with most dogs. One of us would always be here to monitor the dogs, and we have a simple and effective way of separating them if necessary (a sliding door between the front and back of the house). We give pee breaks and refresh the water bowl frequently. On days we have a dog guest, we provide a 20-30 minute mid-day walk as long as it's not too hot or cold. Otherwise, we go and play with them in the back yard during our lunch break. We are willing to provide one or both meals if they come pre-portioned.

Whatever instructions you give me to keep them safe, happy, and healthy, I promise to follow exactly. About: I've grown up with both cats and dogs (and hamsters, gerbils, fish, and parakeets too). My dad was a zoologist major in college and his love of animals definitely passed down to me.
