“Wow! My little Luna had the pleasure of staying with Betsy for a quick last minute overnight, and she had such a great time! Betsy sent me updates and made sure Luna felt right at home during her stay. Luna is a little shy and timid with people she doesn’t know, but warmed right up to Betsy. She was able to accommodate my last minute need for a dog sitter, and I truly appreciate that. Luna will be so excited to visit Betsy again! :)”
“We have two high energy Standard Poodles - a 2 and a 1 year old - who stayed with Lisa for two nights. We booked this at the last minute because our original provider had to cancel. Lisa was great with our dogs even though they’d never met her before. She knows how to connect & establish a relationship - even with our timid one year old. Lisa communicates clearly about arrangements and sent us photos and videos too. We’ll happily use her again!”

“Lan is very communicative and flexible. My dog Dottie seemed to have a great time. Would use again. LAN’s home was warm, clean and friendly. Also she had a nice fenced in yard.”

“My furry daughter loved her :-), and we like Kira's stay too! She is quick to respond to your messages, and she sends a lot of updates with pics about my dog. Will definitely consider her for our future needs. Thanks Kira!!!”

“We had Erin watch our 6 month old puppy while we were out of town for a few days and had a great experience. Communication was great with several pictures along with comments of how he was doing each day. I will definitely book again in the future as needed!”

“We are so pumped we found someone to trust our sensitive, teddy-bear of a pitty with when we travel! Jacquie and her hubby are true animal lovers and took care of our Cowboy just as if he was their own. I could tell when I arrived to pick him up that he was comfortable and at ease in their home. I fully trust them and would highly recommend them, especially if you have a sensitive pup that can get home sick!”

“Martha and Eric are truly perfect Rover sitters. They have a fenced in yard, Eric works from home, and you can tell that they both love dogs. Our dog Ruby stayed with them for the first time for five nights. We received regular updates, photos, and videos and knew consistently that she was getting the best care. Ruby had so much fun here we were afraid she wouldn't want to come home with us.”

“Rachel was an excellent sitter for Rosie!! Her space is very dog friendly. Rosie has some anxiety, but she seemed very comfortable with Rachel. I appreciated Rachel’s daily updates and pictures. Would highly recommend Rachel as a sitter!”

“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing. Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“Kyle did a great job caring for our pup while we were out of town and was extremely prompt with all of our correspondence; including in our request to watch our pup, which really put us at ease! I definitely recommend him! :)”

“We had such a great experience leaving our dog ? Magoo under Timothy's care. Our dog got along well with the other people at Timothy's place and we got updates and pictures on how Magoo was doing everyday. Certainly looking forward to requesting for future bookings”

“This was our first time working with Susan and she took wonderful care of our Naboo. Susan was communicative and was very responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience in Rover!”

“Lydia took great care of our Newfoundland/poodle mix, Poppy, during our vacation! Her communication was great; she sent regular updates with adorable pictures of Poppy playing with her new friends. Her house and yard are very well set up to accommodate multiple dogs. This was our first time booking with her, and I look forward to working with her again. I would highly recommend her!”

“Colleen and Joe took great care of Theo. Lots of adorable pictures were sent and we can tell Theo was happy staying over at their place despite his separation anxiety. Would definitely recommend!”

“Catherine was excellent with our dog Misiu! She was incredibly attentive, and sent lots of photos and videos throughout our vacation. She allowed him to snuggle with her in bed, which he’s used to. That was very much appreciated. We will definitely rebook with Catherine. Misiu was a happy boy the entire time, we weren’t missed 😆”

“J is the best! Super communicative and really loves my pup. I can tell my dog is happy in the photos he sends and when I pick him up! So grateful to have found J!”

“Hannah is amazing! We've left our girl with her twice now, and she took really good care of her and adapted to her needs for 100%! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back ❤️”

University District dog parents share their Rover experiences
Air was exceptional. We expected a great pet sitter, but she brought the added value of real puppy training experience. She followed our care instructions, gave us thoughtful and practical suggestions, and took the time to explain how we could continue the progress at home. Our puppy came home happy, relaxed, and noticeably more confident. She also went above and beyond by taking our dog on a few outings, which was more than we expected. Communication was excellent: we received two updates and around 10 photos every day, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. There are plenty of good Rover sitters, but Air is rare. We would book with her again without hesitation. She is absolutely worth her rate — and honestly, she should probably charge more.

Deneen took wonderful care of my dog for 5 days. He was pampered with many walks and snuggles. We received regular updates and communication before and throughout the visit. Deneen successfully administered medicine for an ear infection, which is easier said than done asy dog is incredibly particular and sensitive about his ears. We are very grateful for the care received!

Arianna did a great job taking care of my dog Chief in her home while I was out of town for several days. Chief has some anxiety around new people and places but felt right at home with her! She provided photos and updates of him, so I recommend her services to anyone needing help with their pets.

Grace is awesome! We were going out of town for memorial day weekend for a wedding and totally forgot to book a dog sitter until the week before. Woody loved his time with Grace and it’s clear that he was very well taken care of. Grace is awesome at communicating before, during, and after the reservation. she took TONS of photos of Woody throughout the days that he was there and the constant updates from her were so nice and so needed since this was my first time using a dog sitter on rover. i’m such an anxious dog mom but Grace really eased my mind with her updates and photos which i appreciated so much.

Carmen was AMAZING with my Shiba Inu, Apollo! He can be very cautious and quirky, and Carmen was patient and let him open up at his own pace. Apollo came to trust Carmen very quickly, and they were best buddies by the end of his stay. He was snuggling in her spots and very playful once he came to trust her. Carmen sent me daily updates and many cute photos. I would highly recommend Carmen as a very trustworthy and caring caregiver for your pet!
