“I don’t think Birdie wanted to come home! It seems like she had a great time at Lan’s house and Lan followed all care instructions to the letter. It was my first time using Rover and Lan made me feel like my gal was in great hands. Thank you!”

“I love having Emily watch my dog! I know she'll be well taken care of and I love how her and her son take turns walking her and practicing commands. Plus, she always sends pictures, which I appreciate.”
“Betsy is absolutely amazing!!! She was extremely communicative about my dog's stay, she sent pics and eased my stress of letting me know how the stay was going with regular updates, it was my first time using Rover and I will definitely use it again! Thank you Betsy!”

“Ashlie and Jeremy were great with our Belgian Shepard pup Rayna. She's a pretty busy girl and when we went for a meet and greet it was clear she liked them and that they are dog people. They watched her for two days at their place and sent pictures and updates. We'd definitely use them again to care for Rayna!”

“Kira is an absolutely wonderful; I am so glad I found her! She took excellent care of my puppy and was always looking out for her. She takes incredible photos and shared them with me frequently, which I really appreciated. She was prompt and easily accessible to correspond with and I appreciated her flexibility. My puppy loved her and her dogs and was comfortable staying with her for daycare and for boarding. I highly recommend Kira!”

“Our second time boarding with Lisa went incredibly well! Seemed like our pup wasn’t ready to leave quite yet. As always, appreciate Lisa and co for all the love and care they provide to our pup!”

“Maria was AMAZING with my little Potato! For the first time, all our family and friends did not work out, so I found Rover and I was off to the races. I was so worried about leaving him with a veritable stranger for a week, but it worked out perfectly. Maria was good to meet at her place briefly before I booked just to make sure all was well, which of course it was. She sent so many pics and vids! It’s clear he spent plenty of time with the family, not sitting in a small space all day like he would have been if boarded elsewhere. She even took him on a walk one day when it was a little less deathly freezing out. Thank you so much Maria!”

“Lynnea was so sweet with our pup. Took him for great walks and made him feel at home. She asked excellent questions to make sure she understood his personality, needs, and preferences. Would 100% recommend her. She's a pleasure to work with.”

“Joayne and her children are the perfect home-away-from-home for my pug. They take such good care of him and give him lots of love. He loves them back! I’m so grateful they are providing this service.”

“Jada loved staying at Andrea's! All smiles, tail wags and a great report card. Jada is both chill but also with a medical condition, has some special needs which were really well taken care of! Jada had the biggest smile and the best time!”

“Sarah was great! My dog had a great time and it seemed our dog became part of their family for the week. Communication and updates were consistent! We’ll definitely bring our dog back next time we travel.”

“This was our first time working with Susan and she took wonderful care of our Naboo. Susan was communicative and was very responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience in Rover!”

“Catherine and her husband took excellent care of our dog. Very communicative with pics, video and messages. Made us feel very relaxed with the care of one of our family.”

“We had Erin watch our 6 month old puppy while we were out of town for a few days and had a great experience. Communication was great with several pictures along with comments of how he was doing each day. I will definitely book again in the future as needed!”

“Lely and Mark were wonderful sitters for my dog!! I was updated the entire time I was gone - lots of walks, time outside, and playing! She came home happy and exhausted. I would highly recommend Lely and Mark!”

“Ryan was great! The dogs were comfortable and happy staying with him. He was communicative with good pictures and updates for us! Would book again for sure.”

“Jennifer not only took my dog into her loving home and treated him as one of her own she took out the stress of leaving him by providing daily updates. I would 100% recommend her to anyone needing someone to watch their pet and I'll definitely be using her services again next time. Thank you Jennifer!”

University District dog parents share their Rover experiences
Michelle and Stewie were the perfect match for my lil doggo. My dog Fiona is a little shy and awkward around new people. Michelle was great with giving fiona the right amount of attention and space so she could get comfortable. Her dog Stewie, on the other hand, seemed to get fiona right away made clear that they were going to be friends. According to the regular updates we received, Fiona was making herself at home and chillin' with her vacation pack without a thought for us (which is AMAZING for our sweet little rescue). Michelle also does day care in addition to boarding, so Fiona got some extra socialization with other four legged friends and had a blast! The videos and photos of Fiona, Stewie, and friends on walks or playing gave us a ton of joy and peace of mind that Fiona was in good hands. My wife and I are thankful we met Michelle and Stewie. They're definitely our first call the next time we need a dog sitter.

Deneen took wonderful care of my dog for 5 days. He was pampered with many walks and snuggles. We received regular updates and communication before and throughout the visit. Deneen successfully administered medicine for an ear infection, which is easier said than done asy dog is incredibly particular and sensitive about his ears. We are very grateful for the care received!

Arianna did a great job taking care of my dog Chief in her home while I was out of town for several days. Chief has some anxiety around new people and places but felt right at home with her! She provided photos and updates of him, so I recommend her services to anyone needing help with their pets.

Grace is awesome! We were going out of town for memorial day weekend for a wedding and totally forgot to book a dog sitter until the week before. Woody loved his time with Grace and it’s clear that he was very well taken care of. Grace is awesome at communicating before, during, and after the reservation. she took TONS of photos of Woody throughout the days that he was there and the constant updates from her were so nice and so needed since this was my first time using a dog sitter on rover. i’m such an anxious dog mom but Grace really eased my mind with her updates and photos which i appreciated so much.
