Greetings Pet Parent(s)! Treat your pup to a cozy retreat with a beautiful yard while you're away! Located just a short walk from Minnehaha Creek and Lake Nokomis, your dog will enjoy plenty of walks and playtime during their stay. Our two-story single-family home in the Northrup neighborhood offers ample sunlight, space to roam, and a welcoming environment for your furry family member. Our two cats and 1-year-old toddler also enjoy this vibrant space. The large, fully fenced backyard provides the perfect setting for your pup to run, play, and explore. With over 15 years of pet-sitting experience, I am a patient and active dog sitter. I have cared for a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I'm comfortable with animals who have undergone surgery, are elderly, or have special needs. I love spending time outdoors and exploring the numerous parks and hiking spots in the area. Minneapolis is a fantastic city for dogs and their human companions. After recently losing my beloved dog, I am eager to welcome more canine companionship into my life. My volunteer work at a pet rescue shelter has also given me familiarity with various leashes, toys, and care routines. I understand how important it is for pet parents to feel confident that their furry friends are safe and well-cared for while apart. Ashley was fantastic. This was our first time using Rover and can say we won’t need to look any further for a sitter for our pug, Doug! She was communicative, sending morning, afternoon and evening updates including tons of cute pics and videos and a thorough update on what fun things they did together and how our Doug was doing. I can’t recommend Ashley enough — you can tell she truly cares and will love your pet like they are her own. Not to mention, she has a sweet toddler who is a pup lover too. With over 15 years of pet-sitting experience, I’m comfortable handling various breeds, sizes, and special needs. I follow any specific care routines and ensure your pet’s needs are met, from feeding and medication schedules to maintaining training routines and providing positive social interactions. In a client’s home, I adhere strictly to your established routines and care instructions to minimize disruption for your pet. I ensure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship, making them feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. A typical day with your pet will be tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We’ll start the day with some outdoor time, whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or just a hang in the back yard. Throughout the day, your pet will enjoy a mix of activities, including playtime in my large, fully fenced backyard, interactive indoor games, and plenty of opportunities for rest and relaxation in cozy, sunny spots around the house. Depending on your pet's energy level and needs, we might go on additional walks, engage in training sessions, or simply enjoy some quiet cuddle time. I always follow your specific care instructions to ensure your pet feels comfortable and secure. My goal is to provide a balanced mix of physical activity, mental stimulation, and relaxation, ensuring your pet feels loved and well-cared for throughout the day.
