I care for a variety of dogs, regardless of breed or size. However, it’s crucial that any pet staying in my home is both cat-safe and kid-safe, as I have two cats and a 1-year-old toddler. Your pet must be comfortable and gentle around young children and other animals to ensure a harmonious and safe environment for everyone. My experience with different breeds and temperaments allows me to provide excellent care tailored to your pet’s specific needs, ensuring they feel at home and well-loved during their stay.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet will be tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We’ll start the day with some outdoor time, whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or just a hang in the back yard. Throughout the day, your pet will enjoy a mix of activities, including playtime in my large, fully fenced backyard, interactive indoor games, and plenty of opportunities for rest and relaxation in cozy, sunny spots around the house. Depending on your pet's energy level and needs, we might go on additional walks, engage in training sessions, or simply enjoy some quiet cuddle time. I always follow your specific care instructions to ensure your pet feels comfortable and secure. My goal is to provide a balanced mix of physical activity, mental stimulation, and relaxation, ensuring your pet feels loved and well-cared for throughout the day.

Located just a short walk from Minnehaha Creek and Lake Nokomis, your dog will enjoy plenty of walks and playtime during their stay. Our two-story single-family home in the Northrup neighborhood offers ample sunlight, space to roam, and a welcoming environment for your furry family member. Our two cats and 1-year-old toddler also enjoy this vibrant space. The large, fully fenced backyard provides the perfect setting for your pup to run, play, and explore. With over 15 years of pet-sitting experience, I am a patient and active dog sitter. I have cared for a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I'm comfortable with animals who have undergone surgery, are elderly, or have special needs. I love spending time outdoors and exploring the numerous parks and hiking spots in the area. Minneapolis is a fantastic city for dogs and their human companions. After recently losing my beloved dog, I am eager to welcome more canine companionship into my life. My volunteer work at a pet rescue shelter has also given me familiarity with various leashes, toys, and care routines.
