About: Hi - I'm Caitlin, and cats were my first love! I grew up with indoor and outdoor cats throughout my childhood, and there is something special about winning over a cat's love! I've been an active foster with Pet Haven for over a year, and my experience goes well beyond "I like cats." In the past, I've fostered kittens, seniors, shy, and anxious cats, as well as medical cases (including animals who needed daily medication and close health monitoring). I know the difference between a cat who needs space to decompress and one who's genuinely distressed. I know how to earn trust with a shy animal without forcing it. And I know when something seems off. My home is quiet, adults-only, without resident pets (though I will still be occasionally fostering, and may have an overlapping Rover dog boarding) which makes it a lower-stress boarding environment. Cat needing more decompression time get their own dedicated space to settle in on their own terms. I offer overnight boarding, drop-in visits, and in-home sitting. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. My service dog is Brutus, he is a 7 year old german shepherd. I have had him his entire life, I started training him when he was 4 months old. I live in an apartment and will take your dog out multiple times a day. I am home all day, your little buddy won’t be alone at any time. I am able to accept same day bookings and same day cancellations. Due to my living arrangements I can not accept dogs that struggle with excess barking. I build a bond with the pets in my care and am always looking for ways to personalize my approach to best fit their needs! -I also volunteer weekly as an animal care assistant at the Animal Humane Society! I am working part-time so I have lots of time to spend with your pet! I am available on weekdays for walks & drop-ins! I would love to meet your fur friend🐾 Making sure your pet feels comfortable is my top priority! I take the health and safety of the pet in my care very seriously. Ensuring that they receive their regular feedings times, potty breaks, medications, walks, play-time etc.! Aside from usual clean-ups (accidents/messes), I also do my best to tidy up as I go.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since i was born. i trained my dog since she was 10 weeks and she wound up having very good recall and other skills like “touch” and “kennel”. she crossed the rainbow bridge 2 years ago and i’ve been needing some dog time since. she was very reactive and anxious at times so i have a very firm grasp on dog body language, and how to make them feel safe and comfortable. i have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes and am always happy to help with training and maintaining skills. I work night shift in the ER so depending on the day I’m either sleeping during the day or up later in the day. On my days off i’m usually free between 12pm and 11pm. On the days I work I’m free usually between 4pm and 9pm. I work every other weekend and alternating weekdays. I love making any pets feel comfortable and safe, and I do this by paying attention to their body language and the messages they’re sending me. I make sure my pets are well fed, well exercised, and feeling content with their living situation.
