“Alyson is wonderful! Our pup stayed with her while we were visiting town and I'm so so glad we found her. Alyson was super responsive and easy to communicate with and really flexible. Plus my pup was zonked out after we picked him up, so he must have played a lot and had a great time.”

About: Adventurous and active millennial who enjoys going for runs or cuddling up to a good movie! I love hanging out with my three dogs, Lola (7 year old female Golden Retriever, 50 lbs), Levi (5 year old male Golden Retriever, 50 lbs) who currently live with me and Marvin (11 year old male Border Collie Blue Heeler, 45 lbs) who currently lives with my parents but visits often. We spend most of our free time outside in our yard and at the nearby lakes and trails. We do love to relax at home as well and binge our favorite series! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry best friend! Skills: Cared for dogs for 10+ years (2 of my own) Worked as a Kennel Assistant - very familiar with dog behavior and training I am currently transitioning to hybrid work and will be at my home full-time during the week along with available weekends. Most of my professional career prior to this has been caring for many different animal species! I have a decent sized fenced in yard with multiple dogs to hang with your pup. Every dog gets a "safe space" set up where they can eat, sleep and relax. Each area is in its own room equipped with blankets and food and water bowls. I also have a dog camera that I like to set up if I need to leave your pooch for a few hours. I try my best to never leave your pup for more than a few hours. We are also walking minutes away from a lake where we can enjoy afternoon strolls and swims as well! I am conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the MSP Airport for anyone hopping on a flight! There is plenty of street parking if clients would like to leave their vehicle when they drop off their pet and uber/lyft to the airport from here..ride shares usually range from $10-$40 from this location depending on time of day etc… I do offer rides when ride share is unavailable :)

“So, i was pretty nervous to leave my precious, sick, 4-month-old furbaby with an internet stranger. But we had good conversations beforehand and he had lots of good reviews. Well, the reviews are well deserved! Puppy had a fine time. Howie (and his wife) clearly took great care of her! Would definitely book again. I just need to figure my schedule out.”
7. Liz & Leon E.
“Liz and Leon were great! It was nice that they let us do a meet and greet beforehand to check things out. Hayden had a good time and got along with their dog Poppy, as well as with both of them. We can't wait to go back again!”
8. Courtney K.
“Fantastic! Courtney takes such good care of our shy pup, who is coming out of his shell daily thanks to her care. And Kramer too. We are so lucky to have found them.”

12. Clara N.
“Clara was great with our dog! Would recommend her to anyone!”
13. Grace & Luke T.
“Having recently moved to MN with a dog who has a challenging past and anxiety, I was initially worried for my dog, Benji. But thankfully, Benji is at complete ease thanks to Grace and Luke’s experience, care, and attention. In fact, he has so much fun and even cuddles with them! It’s clear to me that Grace and Luke go above and beyond for all the dogs who come under their care and I can’t recommend them enough. They are also just great communicators, listeners, and lovely people. Thank you so much, Grace and Luke!”
14. Nicole Z.
“Nicole is absolutely amazing! My little guy is almost 15 weeks and loves to be outside. I greatly appreciated her taking him out for walks, making sure he was happy, taking him out for a multitude of potty breaks (sometimes 2 times in an hour if needed) and keeping me updated throughout the day. I highly recommend Nicole, especially if you want your dog to be well cared for!!”
15. Tammy B.
“Short version: Tammy and her basset hounds are excellent hosts. I would return my two dogs to her care anytime and also recommend the same to others. Long version: My dogs Jack and Oliver stayed with Tammy and her two basset hounds Charlie and Phoebe. I am from Oregon and I communicated with Tammy using dogvacay. Everything was setup in Minneapolis before I left Oregon. When I arrived at her house Tammy greeted us in the yard and the dogs got to meet/greet in a great way. After a little while to see how they did, I left them for about six hours. The four played and socialized all day and were having a fabulous time when I came to pick them up. Pawsome!”
16. Peter & Marcia K.
“Peter is the kindest person and a lover to all animals especially dogs. When I first met him and introduced him to my old girl Marley I was nervous since Marley is a sassy girl who has specific requirements. I didn’t have to worry as they became best friends and she prefers him to me now. He’s always sweet to her and diligent about taking her out on potty breaks and giving her medication. He is a great dog walker as well if you have a dog with more energy.”
17. Sandy H.
“Sandy was awesome, highly recommend.”
18. Irving A.
“Irving is the best! Nothing better than coming home after a long weekend to a clean house and tired puppies. Irving has been my dogsitter for the last 2 years and he has been nothing but amazing. I have 2 crazy puppies and they both love him AND Paco! I can't thank you enough for all you have done!”
19. Molly H.
“There is no person I trust more caring for a dog than Molly. She has immense love in her heart for every dog she has ever met. I've seen her care for dozens of dogs and interact with hundreds more. For years, she has been the kind of person who watched her friends' dogs purely for the sake of having more dogs in her house. She treats every dog like they are her own and cares for them as well as someone would their own human child. There are no better hands to leave a dog in than Molly's.”

I will then begin a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, clinical veterinarian) program with the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine. Work Experience: Companion Animal General Veterinary Practice - Veterinary Assistant Companion Animal Emergency Veterinary Practice - Veterinary and Triage Assistant Equine Veterinary Medicine - Hospital Staff I've gained valuable experience in hands-on roles in both general practice and emergency small animal settings. As a veterinary and triage assistant, I've had the privilege of contributing to the well-being of beloved pets and applying my knowledge and empathy daily. In my work in emergency medicine, I've seen pet-sitters bring in their clients' pets in critical condition multiple times. Through my academic and work experiences, I've learned to recognize medical emergencies when symptoms are mild, as opposed to waiting until the pet is in critical condition. Additionally, I take utmost care to ensure your pet's safety and health at all times. This is why I don't allow bookings from separate households to overlap, avoid dog parks, and carefully select the toys and items for your pet. Being overly cautious when looking after a pet that isn't your own is my standard. With a strong academic background and practical experience, I'm dedicated to providing the best possible care for animals and ensuring their health and happiness. PM if you are interested or have questions on the many hazards and emergencies that pet-sitters could get wrangled into. (she/her) LGBTQIA+ Friendly. Presently, the majority of my academic commitments are conducted in an online format, with the limited in-person classes necessitating a mere 2 to 3 hours of absence at most. Given this flexibility, the seamless incorporation of animal care responsibilities into any segment of my schedule would be possible. NOTE: *** Your pet must be able to do a flight of stairs on their own, as I live on the second floor of a duplex **** Ensuring your pet receives the best care possible is my top priority. This includes following your instructions for feeding and watering, making sure your pet stays mentally and physically active, and always respecting their comfort zones. In terms of what daily life would look like for your pet, they would enjoy one to two walks a day, each lasting from a half hour to an hour. Of course, the length and frequency of these walks would depend on your dog's ability to move around and their behavior. Inside, they'd have access to the upstairs area of our home (your pet must be able to do stairs on their own) which includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and three spacious living areas. These spaces are equipped with heating and air conditioning to keep your pet comfortable in any weather. Playtime and affection would be in abundance to keep your pet happy. It's important to note that I won't be taking them to off-leash dog parks, as these places can be risky and lead to injuries. Your pet's safety is my main concern.
