Hi, I’m Jessie! The majority of my dog experience was in the last 12 years with my rescue, Diesel. He recently passed but he was my best bud and hiking partner. I adopted him at 8 months and had 12 wonderful years with him from a wild puppy pulling on the leash, through his senior years in his grippy socks. I’m here to do what makes sense for your pup whether that’s short walks, long walks, lots of sniffing time, or just relaxing together. I can accommodate favorite routes and I’m happy to walk in all weather unless severe. I will take care of your pet(s) like they’re my own, making sure they’re safe and happy. I need some dog friends in my life before I impulsively adopt too soon! So when your dog stays with me, we’ll have fun like they’re on a vacation of their own 😊

I highly recommend Jessie. She was so great to our dog Ivy; she took her on walks, car rides, to Bachman's, and gave Ivy treats (approved by us). Jessie sent us updates every single night with lots of pictures. Ivy definitely missed Jessie once she got back home 🥰

Jessie cared for our Bernese Mountain Dog for a day of dog daycare. She responded quickly to my Initial request. We had a nice meet and greet where Jessie asked a lot of good question trying to make sure that she understood the needs of our dog. The drop off and pick up were smooth. We also received a super summary of Koda's day and photos. Top notch service. My family would highly recommend booking your dog with Jessie.
I would 100% recommend Jessie!!! We had never left our Milo at someone else’s home without us. He can be an anxious little two year old. He is use to always being with us and can get set in his ways. Jessie made it so comforting with learning Milo’s cues and giving us daily updates with lots of pictures. We looked forward to getting her nightly updates. She cared for him like we would with lots of walks, cuddles, hanging out together, and play time. Thank you Jessie! You made our vacation even better knowing that our furry baby was being well taken care of.
Ruby spent 5 nights with Jessie and it was just perfect. We had nightly updates of their days together, along with photos and videos. We could tell that Ruby was getting not just great care, but love and snuggles just like home. It made for a stress-free getaway for us and for Ruby. Thanks Jessie!
Jessie took excellent care of our nervous dog Greta. Jessie has great communication, sends very detailed daily updates, sends lots of pictures and asks great questions. This was our first experience with boarding and Jessie exceeded our expectations!

Schedule
I was recently laid off so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods while boarding with me. They will have my full attention for playing and cuddling, and will get walks in the morning, afternoon and evening if they have the energy for them. I’m generally available for drop-in visits and walks morning-evening, 7 days a week. I’m also super flexible if you need daycare outside of typical daycare hours to go to an event or take a day trip. Just check my calendar for availability.

Safety, trust & environment
For drop-in visits, I will always treat your home and your pet(s) with care and respect, follow your instructions exactly and take your property, privacy and security very seriously. For boarding and daycare, I’ll treat your dog as my own with great care and love. Their safety is my top priority. I’m very good about making sure things can’t be reached on counters, aware of the toxic foods, etc.. There is a tall fenced dog run on the property that we can use without other dogs as well if they need to get some zoomies out. Dog beds, blankets and toys are clean for each client. I have high quality treats and poop bags on hand. And a seatbelt for any car rides that works with your dog’s harness. I only board multiple dogs from the same home. An exception can be made if the dogs know each other, get along well, and I have permission from both pet parents.
A typical day
Your dog will have lots of toys to choose from, including skill and sniff toys. We’ll get out for multiple walks and activities. If your dog likes more relaxation, that’s cool too. For walks, we can check out the neighborhood with lots of sniff time or walk through the peace and rose gardens or loop around Lake Harriet. If it’s a good fit, I’ll take your bestie out to a dog-friendly restaurant, brewery or go hiking. And they’ll definitely meet everyone at the rug shop across the street. They love dogs and have treats - dogs are like celebrities there 😃 When it’s time to lounge, they will have several cozy spots to choose from including dog beds in the living room and bedroom, and they are welcome on the sofa and my bed.
