“Short version: Tammy and her basset hounds are excellent hosts. I would return my two dogs to her care anytime and also recommend the same to others. Long version: My dogs Jack and Oliver stayed with Tammy and her two basset hounds Charlie and Phoebe. I am from Oregon and I communicated with Tammy using dogvacay. Everything was setup in Minneapolis before I left Oregon. When I arrived at her house Tammy greeted us in the yard and the dogs got to meet/greet in a great way. After a little while to see how they did, I left them for about six hours. The four played and socialized all day and were having a fabulous time when I came to pick them up. Pawsome!”

I greatly appreciated her taking him out for walks, making sure he was happy, taking him out for a multitude of potty breaks (sometimes 2 times in an hour if needed) and keeping me updated throughout the day. About: *Please note, I live in a condo building. If your dog tends to bark, I am not a good fit. They also must be potty trained. Since joining Rover I have cared for cats, large dogs, old dogs and small dogs. I myself have had dogs my whole life. Growing up, we had four of them! I love to run and be active and I live right by the lake. Don’t let that fool you though - we certainly have our lazy days. I have an 8 year old hound mix, Ella. She keeps me busy but is also very cuddly and lazy. I have never had a problem between her and another pet. Besides her, I only watch one Rover dog or cat at a time. If I am doing a home stay, I request that I bring her with so I don’t have to run back and forth. I go into the office two days a week from roughly 9 am - 4 pm. All other days I am working from home. On the weekends, I can let you know my plans if I might be away for a few hours. I live in a one bedroom condo, so if I go away I usually put one animal in my bedroom and my dog in my living room. I also have a cage, but if you have one you prefer to bring, I will of course take it!

“Peter is the kindest person and a lover to all animals especially dogs. When I first met him and introduced him to my old girl Marley I was nervous since Marley is a sassy girl who has specific requirements. I didn’t have to worry as they became best friends and she prefers him to me now. He’s always sweet to her and diligent about taking her out on potty breaks and giving her medication. He is a great dog walker as well if you have a dog with more energy.”

About: We dog sit dogs most times. We treat every dog like our own and care for them with all our heart. We make them like this is there home. I work from home and am available to attend to all the dogs needs and take care of it ,we love dogs and will make sure it is happy We take them on walks, play with them and feed them. We love playing lots of fun and friendly puppy games with them and making them feel loved.
