I am home full time to be company
I am a retired Psychologist and have total flexibility to meet the schedule that you desire for your lovable dog or cat. I do not have any pets, so there is no concern about your dog or cat getting along with others, especially because I take only one animal at a time. Your pet will get personalized care and attention. Let's talk about your needs and if your dog or cat would be well-suited to the care that I can offer. I love all breeds of dogs and cats. I am an experienced house sitter, walker and boarder through Rover as my reviews testify. I will come to your home for care or walks, or you can bring your pet to my home. I am very flexible in terms of my schedule and can walk your dog frequently. 🐕 🐩 I care for pets when I live in Palm Springs in the winter, and in Uptown in Minneapolis during the rest of the year. Since I take only one pet at a time and without any animals or children in my home, you don’t have to worry if your pet will get along with another dog or with kids.

Velma and her sister were outstanding and professional. Went above and beyond by identifying excessive paw licking of our dog, reporting it to us and problem solving, and ultimately removing a cactus needle from her paw.
Velma took excellent care of Avie. She asked questions when needed, and shared what was going on in the day. It was comforting, and I'm thankful that she had him.
