“Lan was an amazing dog sitter. This is my first time using Rover, and to be honest, my first time leaving my dog with anyone that wasn’t a friend or family so I was a bit nervous. Lan was friendly and helpful and sent pictures of Zoey about an hour after I left which help put my mind at ease. Over all a really good experience.”

“My meet and greet with Betsy was warm and inviting . She made me feel at ease with leaving my three dogs with her. It’s my first time using rover and didn’t know what to expect, but I can sense Betsy is passionate about caring for pets/animals. Communication was smooth and Betsy was prompt to respond each time. I’m thankful Betsey was able to take all three dogs, she updated me routinely with pictures of the activities they did for the day. I would for sure reach out to Betsy again. The dogs enjoyed their stay and had plenty of exercise, stimulation, cuddles and attention. I know my dogs would love to return again. Thank you Betsy and Mark!”
“Brenda & family were amazing with Aspen. Aspen felt right at home and happy. I received regular updates and knew she was well taken care of. Highly recommended.”

“Lydia was wonderful! My dog had never been boarded before, so Lydia took the time to meet me before and introduce my dog. She made sure to update me daily while my dog was there and even accommodated my late arrived back to pick my dog up. I would definitely use her again to care for my dog.”

“Amanda and Leif are absolutely amazing!!!! They responded to us so quickly to doggy-sit our Rott/Shepherd mix (Bear) while we went on a family vacation. They asked all the appropriate questions and it was very clear they wanted to make Bear feel at home while we were away. They were responsive, flexible, communicative, and so friendly!! We got several picture updates while on our trip and it made us feel so comfortable with being away. Bear looked so comfortable and happy in the pictures. He was taken on so many walks and played with… We could tell he was shown so much love! When we picked him up, he was still giving love to Amanda! And she was soooo great in the information she shared with us and it reassured us that they all had a great time together. We are so thankful as this is our first Rover experience with Bear. Because of how awesome Amanda and Leif were, we are totally going to be back! If you’re thinking of booking your pup to be with them, absolutely do!!”

Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“Alexis and Ryan were great! Left Turks there for a week during vacation and received multiple updates, photos, and videos! Turks came home happy and tired from playing ?”

“Ellen was friendly and our dog loved her time there. Ellen was great in keeping us updated on how our dog was doing. Would definitely seek Ellen out for future stays.”

“Nicole, David and their dogs are the best! This is our second time booking with them for our dog Brew. Nicole and David are the nicest folks, and you can absolutely tell they are huge dog lovers from the moment you meet them. I hate leaving such a positive review because now their calendar will be full, but they for sure deserve it.”

“Catherine was excellent with our dog Misiu! She was incredibly attentive, and sent lots of photos and videos throughout our vacation. She allowed him to snuggle with her in bed, which he’s used to. That was very much appreciated. We will definitely rebook with Catherine. Misiu was a happy boy the entire time, we weren’t missed 😆”

“It was our first time using Rover and we were very happy to choose Elizabeth! I appreciated that she took the time to meet our cats before we left town. It was also great to receive pictures and updates throughout the week! Very last minute we had a cat that needed ear cleanings and Elizabeth was more than happy to take on that challenge. It gave me some peace of mind to know they were being left with someone who knows what they are doing! I would 100% book again!”

She was also very consistent and sent lots of photos to let us know how Harper was doing.”

“She did a wonderful job with my guinea pigs. She went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of when I was gone. I was nervous about leaving them for an extended period of time as they are older guineas pigs, but she did better than I could have expected. I would highly recommend”

“Rob did an excellent job taking care of our cat, who can be difficult and standoffish. He was responsive to her needs and followed our directions well, even suggesting slight adjustments to facilitate a better experience for all. We recommend him wholeheartedly!”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. “Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“Absolutely incredible experience. Celia was easy to communicate with and sent me pics of my pup throughout the day. I would love to book again - highly recommmend”

“Karen and Ryan have been the best sitters for my puppy. He’s always so happy to go to their house. They’ve been feeding him and helping with a medical need during the day and are flexible when I’m running late from work. Would recommend them to friends and family!”

“Great experience having Robert watch my pup - highly recommended, especially for a high-energy dog. Will definitely be coming to him in the future when I need someone to take care of her while I'm in Minneapolis.”

About: I have experience with pets from picking up a standard poodle from a private airplane for a client in Maine, to more recently, caring at home for a couple of cats whos parents were caught in an emergency. My energy can keep up with the most active dogs & my compassion so large, it can care for the most senior of pets. I've been a professional stylist for 30 years & hope to take the many skills I accumulated over that career and apply them to a new venture. I'm sure you'll live me as much s your pets will! My schedule is very flexible & I can fit in walks or dog sitting almost any time or date with a bit of luck & proper communication! I am a single guy & like most single folks, our pets are our 'family' & I care for them as such. However, I'm also calm, assertive & don't back down easily in order to keep reign over, well even my own dog!
“River is amazing! Easy going, flexible, and took great care of my little man. He crashed as soon as he got into my car. Can’t wait for him to have another fun day there on Sunday!”
“Our dog had a great first time visit with Jen! He had lots of other dogs to play with, and I appreciated all the photos and videos Jen shared with us throughout the day. A successful first Rover booking!”

About: Need someone that loves your dog like you do? I can help! :) I’ve been an animal lover my whole life! I bring a calm and understanding care to every fur friend I look after. I currently dog walk a sweet 5 year old Boxer-mix weekly, but I’m excited to add more animals to my schedule. I build a bond with the pets in my care and am always looking for ways to personalize my approach to best fit their needs! -I also volunteer weekly as an animal care assistant at the Animal Humane Society! I am working part-time so I have lots of time to spend with your pet! I am available on weekdays for walks & drop-ins! I would love to meet your fur friend🐾 Making sure your pet feels comfortable is my top priority! I take the health and safety of the pet in my care very seriously. Ensuring that they receive their regular feedings times, potty breaks, medications, walks, play-time etc.! Aside from usual clean-ups (accidents/messes), I also do my best to tidy up as I go.
“Lisa was wonderful with our timid rescue pup. She took the time to let our girl warm-up to her, and by the end of the week’s walks, she got a tail wag!”

About: I’m an Animal Science graduate and I train service dogs with Can Do Canines, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs in different environments and understanding their behavior and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, high-energy dogs, and older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to body language and routines, and I always try to make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also grew up with dogs and have hands-on experience raising and training my own family pets—including a feisty dachshund puppy who I helped train into a gentle, well-behaved dog, along with two other dogs with strong obedience and great temperaments. My background means I naturally reinforce good habits, use positive reinforcement, and keep things consistent with what your pet already knows. I truly love spending time with animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them some extra attention and cuddles. After graduating from UMN, I’ll be working part-time at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville (around 20 hours per week). My schedule varies slightly week to week, but this also gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. Outside of my shifts, I have a wide availability and love filling my time caring for pets. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can often accommodate mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended stays. I currently provide care in clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable in their own environment and routine. I always take the time to learn your pet’s schedule, preferences, and any specific instructions so I can keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. Safety is my top priority. I’m very attentive to surroundings on walks and in the home, and always monitor pets closely. With my background training service dogs, I’m confident handling a variety of behaviors and situations calmly and responsibly. I also have experience administering medications, including oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions when needed. I respect your home as if it were my own, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left them. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and communicate as much as you’d like so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“My quirky dog had never been apart from me for more than a couple nights and I was really nervous about leaving her, but she took to Elizabeth immediately. Elizabeth is a great communicator, very reliable, and sensitive to animals’ needs and unique personalities.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs (large and small) and have cats of my own. I also have experience caring for rodents, fish, and plants. I love animals, and as a pet owner myself, I do my best to communicate with owners so i can give them the peace of mind that their pets and home are well cared for while they’re away. My flexible schedule allows me to cater to almost every request, making it even easier to ensure that your pets are getting the care you prefer and they deserve. Booking a house sitting with me means I will be at your home with your pet the entire time, unless otherwise specified/requested by you. Since I don’t board in my home, there’s no need to worry about the safety level of a new environment. Any instructions will be carefully followed, and your fur baby will be safe and comfy in their home environment.
“Johanna was a lifesaver for us over the past two weeks! She was communicative, reliable, and so very sweet with our pup when taking her for daily walks. We’ll certainly be booking her again.”

“Mckenzie was great and Sukha had a great time! Our plans changed unexpectedly and she was very flexible in accommodating the change to help us while we worked out the logistics to get home.”

“Sally was just great with Flora. She shared a lot about how the day was going a Flora was super well taken care of! She has 2 cutes pups and they got along super well! Thank you so much!”

“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing. Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“Dan and Julia take such amazing care of my sweet Lotus! I don’t ever have to worry, as I know he is getting a lot of attention. Their dog Otis is a sweetie, and I am very happy Lotus gets attention from kids (he loves kids!) As always, amazing!”

“Doc and Heather were fantastic. They provided daily updates with pictures and I completely trusted that they were taking exceptional care of my dog. I look forward to booking them in the future.”

“Soooo great to have Jessica and Grant's good care when I went on vacation. They are fun, friendly and great to work with. My dog came home happy and I LOVED the pix and updates. Thank you! I'll definitely reach out again!”

“My dogs had such a wonderful time with Tristan and his family. It is rare that I don’t worry about how my dogs are doing while away on travel. It was clear from the pictures of my dogs that they were having a great time and were very comfortable with Tristan! I will be booking again in the future!”

“Gave the rundown of everything my dog was needing and she was happy to do everything, with updates and pictures so you know your pup is well taken care of! When I went for pick up my pup was happy as can be! If you’re looking for a sitter Emily is the one!”

“Jessie was great! She watched my two dogs Violet and Kala and they had a great time and got lots of snuggles. She gave me updates and pictures everyday which really helped put me at ease while I was away.”

“Julie, Ben and kids provided excellent care for our dog while we were out of town! Leading up to our first out of town visit, Ted had day visits to ease into the 5 day stay. Each time we pulled up he would jump out of the car and dart right into their home ♥️ For comparison, when we bring him to the vet he cowers in the car and we have to carry him in bc he refuses to walk. I have no doubt he was in excellent care and I’m so grateful we found this family for Ted. We will definitely be coming back!”

“Erin was an amazing sitter for our dog Artie! She sent lots of photo updates and it was clear he was having a great time with her and Eggsy. Thank you Erin for taking such good care of him! I’m sure he will be back :)”

“I can’t recommend Lynnea enough! She took amazing care of my dog over the weekend, ensuring they were well-fed, exercised, and given plenty of love and attention. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I truly appreciate the care and kindness Lynnea showed to my boy. If you’re looking for someone reliable and loving to watch over your furry friend, Lynnea is the perfect choice!”

“Professional, personable and positive! River does an incredible job caring for dogs and it's evident in everything she provides from start to finish! I'm so pleased with the level of care my three pomeranians received under her care and would book again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!”
