“Susie did an amazing job with our pup Quinn! She was very communicative and took great care of our dog. I highly recommend Susie for your pets care!”

“Lydia has been watching my pup for several weeks now, and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter! You can tell she really cares about all of the dogs she watches. She's a fantastic communicator and is flexible with schedules. I highly recommend her!”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
About: I grew up with dogs and they are truly my heart and soul. We currently have 2 dogs 2 cats, (although one dog is a part time since they follow shared custody with the teens). We would absolutely love to take in your dog. We both work from home so they would get plenty of loving and attention! I work from home full time, along with my partner who also works from home; so honestly I'm very open. Our own dogs generally are taken out about every 3 hours regardless if they go potty or not. The animals have free range of the house (minus our bed) 😊 I do have a yard, although its not fenced, we have a track or a ground post if your worried about them running away while being outside. We also love to take walks. If they stay close and listen well, I generally stay outside with them. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
“Deanna is so welcoming to both me and my pet! I have been delighted with her care and communication. It makes all the difference in the world to leave my pet with a kind, caring, fun person and home and that's Deanna! My dog, Foxy, runs right up to her and comes back with a smile and signs of a fun day! Thanks, Deanna!!”

“Thank you so much to River for watching my 8 month old puppy Griffin. I felt completely comfortable leaving my fur baby in her care, and he came home tired and happy. I’ll definitely be looking to book River for doggy daycare in the future.”

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“Takenya waa excellent with our dog and went up and beyond with the care. And she was great about Sending pictures and videos. She is excellent with dogs. You can tell from the minute she meet her that she loves animals. She helped us out on short notice We recommend her highly.”

“First doggie sitter for our Harper and did we score big time!! Alyson is amazing. Harper came home happy and tired. It must have been a great time!! Thanks Alyson.”

“Stasia is honestly the best. I can’t sing her praises enough. My dog loves her. Stasia is great at personalized care for our dog and has outdoor space for her to play in too!”

About: I have had cats and dogs since I was 7 yrs old. I used to try to sneak kittens and puppies home from my grandparent's farm in Illinois hoping my parents wouldn't catch on until we were too far away to turn back! Luckily my mother was also a life-time pet lover, so I always got to keep them. I retired from the University of MN a year and a half ago. I am in charge of my own schedule now with lots of free time I have a fenced-in yard for small to medium dogs. I live very close to lots of parks and walking trails. I have a friendly senior Welsh Pembroke Corgi and a young cat. I give all animals in my care- attention, loving, proper exercise and diet and a safe surrounding.
“Michelle took great care of Maya, my sweet 3 year old pup! Maya is pretty high energy and has some anxieties, so when I picked her up after the FIRST DAY she spent with Michelle and her resident dog, I was delighted and shocked that Maya barely acknowledged me when I arrived (I normally get 500 face licks and zoomies). Michelle clearly is very experienced with a range of dogs and also has a great backyard. We will be back!”

About: I love animals and I love a good nature walk. You can be sure your animal will not only be in good care but also in nature and ready for a nap when you get home. I am a part yoga instructor/business owner. With that I am able to create a flexible work for myself all the time. Meaning I can not only help you out with your animal but if you want I could teach you some yoga. I have an environment best suited for either a city/apartment living dog or cat. I live very close to Loring and Walker Arts, so there are plenty of walking trails near me.
About: Hi, I’m Taylor! 🐾 I have always grown up around animals, and adopted my first rescue pup at 25. These days, I usually have a foster dog (or two!) keeping us company as well. Dogs are pretty much the best and biggest part of my world, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I’m experienced in caring for pups of all kinds, from tiny 5 week-old litters of puppies, to sweet 13 year-old seniors, and everything in between. I'm very well-versed in the quirks, routines, hilarious personalities, and occasional chaos that make every dog unique. I also work remotely, which means I have lots of flexibility and can spend plenty of time with your pets throughout the day. I know that leaving your pup can be stressful—for both of you! My goal is to make the experience as easy and reassuring as possible, so your dog feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Having some high-maintenance pups of my own, I’m very much a “whatever makes your dog happy” kind of sitter. Need me to “cook” their dinner a very specific way? Sure. Does the backyard require a ceremonial song before your dog will go outside? I’m ready. Does your pup need three blankets, a particular bedtime routine, and a bedtime snack? Consider it done! I promise to treat your pets like they’re my own—with lots of love, patience, attention, and plenty of belly rubs. I work remotely, so our pups tend to have a pretty flexible schedule. We adventure out on a walk every day, finding new spots for my pups to sniff out. I make sure that they have regular breaks outside and a consistent feeding schedule, and we spend the majority of the day together. I have a fully fenced in yard, privacy fence on all four sides. I keep a very tidy home and have a finished basement level with plenty of room for play time. Pets are allowed on furniture and have free reign of the house, unless otherwise specified by their human.
About: Hi there! I’m Grace, a lifelong animal lover with a passion for caring for pets of all kinds. Growing up in a household that’s always had dogs (and often other pets), I’ve had the privilege of developing strong bonds with animals from a young age. My experience ranges from house-sitting and dog walking to working closely with puppies, giving me a well-rounded understanding of animal behavior and care. I’ve always felt a special connection with dogs, and over the years, I’ve gotten to know them as the unique, playful, and loving individuals they are. Whether it’s a lively puppy, a calm senior, or an energetic middle-aged dog, I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and adjust my care to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. Since I work from home most days, I’m able to offer your pet plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency throughout the day. I also love going on daily walks, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and outdoor time. For me, pet care isn’t just about looking after animals—it’s about building lasting friendships with them. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, getting to know their quirks, and ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away. I’d love to meet your furry family member and offer them the same love and attention I’ve given to my own pets over the years! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine, as I work from home most days, which allows me to provide consistent attention and care to pets throughout the day. I’m already in the habit of going on daily walks, so including a furry companion in that routine is easy and would make my days brighter. Whether it’s taking a break to go for a stroll, offering playtime, or simply being there for cuddles and companionship, I’m able to give pets the care, attention, and structure they need while still balancing my work responsibilities. My flexible schedule means your pet will always have someone nearby to keep them company and engaged. I love getting the chance to care for dogs in their own homes or during walks. I’m happy to provide pet sitting or dog walking services at your place, where your pet feels most comfortable. In your home, I’ll follow your routine and provide the same care and attention I would give my own pets, ensuring they’re safe, happy, and well-cared for. I can keep them active with regular walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. While I may not have a pet of my own at home, I enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the love and attention they deserve in their own space!
“I really appreciated Bailey and Connor’s care with dog sitting, we did a meet and greet to make sure our dogs clicked before the booking and I got lots of photos and updates during my pup’s stay. Thank you!”

Aimee took great care of Tumnus on his first day of doggie day care! He's a nervous boy with new things and she managed his stress and gave me good updates through the day. I think he recognized her from a house sitting she had done previously and was comfortable with her which helps enormously.

We needed help watching our dog during the day while moving and Sally was great! I got multiple very cute updates of him each day and it seemed like he had a great time playing and running in the backyard. She was also very flexible with drop off and pick up times.

Nancy watched our two pups for a few hours on a weekday evening on short notice. She was super friendly, had fast communication and a fully fenced in back yard for them! It was great having someone with so much experience with dogs to watch over them. Thanks again Nancy!

We don't typically have the privilege of visiting the same sitter twice, because we move so often. However, this was Cam and Morgan's second stay at Lydia's, and they were well cared for like the previous time. Grateful to her for keeping them on short notice while we attended a Twins game.
Claire was fantastic with Finn! He had such a wonderful time spending the day with her and Birdie. Claire was very communicative, responded quickly to messages, and kept us updated with adorable photos throughout the day, which we really appreciated. He's already looking forward to his next visit with Claire and Birdie. We highly recommend her!

Karen and Ryan were fantastic caregivers for our senior dog, Kurt. Great communication before and during the visit. Beautiful home with a wonderful fenced yard. Super flexible with drop off and pick up times. Very friendly and professional. Kurt loved his three days with them. I highly recommend Karen and Ryan for your pet-sitting needs in Minneapolis.
Allison is just amazing! We felt very comfortable leaving our puppy with her. We met her and her dog before setting up a day for Flora to stay to see if she would be ok, and everything was perfect. Her dog is the sweetest, and really calm around Flora. Thank you so much Allison we really appreciate your care and look forward to continuing leaving Flora with you!

Ellen was AMAZING. She was so kind and caring and did a great job watching our pug, Yoshi! Ellen was very thoughtful and thorough for our meet and greet and I felt very comfortable having her watch our pet for the first time. We GREATLY appreciate her willingness to take Yoshi last minute! We would definitely recommend Ellen and look forward to more visits in the future!

We were so grateful to Tony for being able to fit us in last minute. Our boy has a bit of anxiety staying home alone for extended periods, but it sounded like Percy had a good time hanging with Tony and we appreciated the feedback after the visit. We look forward to using more of the services Tony provides in the future!
