I am currently and have been doing Rover full time for almost two years now! i’m typically home for the majority of the day, running out to the gym or on errands occasionally. I try to be home as much as i can making sure your pup is getting the attention they need! since i am home most of the day i can be pretty flexible with drop off/pick up times as well 👍🏼

My goal when caring for your pet is to offer a safe, playful and relaxing environment that doesn’t stray too far from your routine at home..i try my best to accommodate for every individual pup that walks through my door based on their personality and needs! With that being said the environment i try to create here is unique and unfortunately not fit for every pup..if you have any questions or concerns please ask! it’s so important that all dogs respect boundaries here to ensure the safest space for everyone! i do have the ability to separate dogs when necessary..we try to avoid it if we can but dogs are just like people and don’t always get along every single day and that’s okay! i currently accept up to ten pups a day..i would say most week days im hovering around 5-6 pups and will hit my capacity over the holidays and long holiday weekends..if you have any questions about group size just ask! I am conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the MSP Airport for anyone hopping on a flight! There is plenty of street parking if clients would like to leave their vehicle when they drop off their pet and uber/lyft to the airport from here..ride shares usually range from $10-$40 from this location depending on time of day etc..I do offer rides when ride share is unavailable :)

A typical day here starts with morning cuddles, potty breaks and breakfast..we wake up get outside and head downstairs to start breakfast! all dogs get fed individually with me in our feed room..after feeding we head outside for our morning play session! i have a decent sized fenced in yard with just enough space to run and play..if your pup is more of the relaxing type we also have a three season porch with a daybed where they can catch the best naps! we typically come inside around lunch time for a little bit of down time..any pets that require lunch get their meal before we head back outside for afternoon play! we also have an indoor play space if the weather isn’t cooperating that day and will utilize it when necessary but we really try to be outside as much as we can! when dinner time rolls around we head back downstairs and get everyone fed and start settling down for the night..we will go outside for a couple more potty breaks before bed and i’ll walk any pups who seem like they still have some energy to expend..for bedtime pets are allowed to snuggle in bed, sleep on dog beds on the floor or they will have access to my kitchen area if they would like more space or a cooler spot to lay down..i can also kennel pups at night if required Because i do this full time i am home most of the day..however i am human and i do try to leave the house at least once a day..whether it be running errands, hitting the gym or spending time with family and friends i try to never be gone for more than four hours..if i know i have a long period of time im going to be gone i will let you know in advance! when i do leave the house pups that require kennels when left unattended get put in my kennel room and everyone else hangs out in the playroom where i have a dog camera to keep an eye on them while im gone! this is just a rough schedule that i try to follow but every day is different depending on the pack we have and my schedule..if you have any questions please let me know! we can make adjustments as needed for your pet :)

Adventurous and active millennial who enjoys being outside or cuddling up to a good movie! I love hanging out with my two dogs, Lola (9 year old female Golden Retriever, 66 lbs) and Levi (7 year old male Golden Retriever, 66 lbs). We spend most of our free time outside in our yard and at the nearby lakes and trails. We do love to relax at home as well and binge our favorite series! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry best friend! Skills: Cared for dogs for 10+ years (2 of my own) Worked as a Kennel Assistant - very familiar with dog behaviors (body language and social cues)

McKenzie made leaving town without our 7 month pup very easy. Drop-off and pick-up was simple, we changed our dates of care and McKenzie was quick to respond and very accommodating. We got some fun photos on the 4th of July which gave us good peace of mind that he was being well taken care of.
Malcolm loved his time with Mckenzie! She went above and beyond to care for Malcolm’s needs. He can’t wait to go back!
Mckenzie was so easy to work with and took great care of our senior dog, who needed medications given and extra comfort and support. Highly recommend Mckenzie to anyone in the area looking for quality, attentive care for their pup!
Our pup had a great stay with McKenize! Charlie always has a great time and comes home tired from playing. McKenzie is great with communicating and always sends pics of Charlie!
