About: I grew up in a home with many different pets, but cats are my favorite! I speak their language, love to play and snuggle, and also know when a kitty prefers alone-time. I am attentive to their needs - fresh water, clean litter box - and I'm good with kitty chatter! We can sit together by a window and twitter at the birds!
“Sarah did an awesome job with our young cat Prismo. Communicative and attentive. She sent really cute and varied photos of him in the report card. He seemed happy in the photos :). Felt good to know Sarah was taking care of our boy when we were away. Thank you Sarah!”

About: I love working with cats! I was late to the cat world and wasn’t around them until I was in my mid 20’s but they are so wonderful. I’ve often been called a cat whisperer. I have trained all of my own cats to come and sit and do tricks. I have my own cats, but always watch my friend’s cats. I also have experience caring for and socializing 10 live-in cats at my previous job which lasted more than a year.

“Haidyn did a wonderful job with our two cats. One was sick and she was very attentive to her and gave us updates. We would not hesitate to use her again in the future.”

“Ruby and her mom were excellent sitters for my cat, Pamuk. They were provided daily updates and were patient, attentive and understanding toward my shy & timid kitty. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I ever needed a cat sitter again!!”

About: As a community oriented dog-lover, I strive to provide excellent service to both you and your furry friends! I have taken care of dogs or all kinds since I was young from Duck Tolling Retrievers, Cavaliers, Terriers, and plenty of our rescue mixes. I am an avid walker and love taking dogs out on their own personalized strolls. I have raised several puppies into confident dogs, been patient with the shy and the elderly, and am ready to play with rough housers. I am in a unique situation of flexible working hours to be available for your pets and you. Need sitting for a small mammal or reptile? Reach out! I have experience in all sorts of small friends! I am a full time real estate agent which means my hours are flexible. Most of my work is done right from home and my days are neatly scheduled to make sure when I need to be out of the house, I will be able to return within a few hours. My schedule will only be open so long as I have the time to care for your pet in my home without too many hours away. If you are boarding your dog, rest assured, they will be comfortable and safe with me. I live in a secure condominium that has been pet-proofed since day one with a live-in Cavalier who is gentle as a lamb. Dogs will never be taken out without a leash and will never interact with anything outside of the home without my supervision. With my schedule, they will be taken out many times throughout the day and can be kept on any feeding schedule you require.

“Nora was really easy to work with, prompt with her visits and I think the kitties really loved her! Thanks so much for your additional help with topaz’s medication and giving them so many pets!”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. “Haidyn is great with my pets! She provides ample exercise, love, and attention while also being very timely in communication. Haidyn has also done great with meeting the needs of my puppy, who isn't fully trained. There are things I'm trying to work on with the pup, and Haidyn does well in being consistent with my training.”

“Charlie loves walking with Tracy. She has a calming and positive nature that helps with his high energy. He watches out the window for her. I really appreciate it, along with her flexibility with my schedule.”

About: I have years of experience caring for my own pets and pet-sitting for others. My experience includes all age ages and sizes of dogs and cats, including rescue animals, French bulldogs, pitbulls and Persian cats. I also have some experience with giving medication to pets and caring for small animals such as hedgehogs and rabbits. I love all kinds of animals and take pride in understanding and respecting a pet's unique needs and boundaries, such as petting and feeding needs. I look forward to giving your pet the same love and respect I give my own! Over this summer I am completely flexible as I will be attending university at the start of fall. I will have a very flexible schedule for both booking appointments and playing/walking with your animals. I like to keep a strict feeding schedule-which can fit to your pets needs if they already have one-and a minimum walk time of 30 minutes daily. Pets are allowed everywhere in both yard and home. If needed or wanted I am willing and happy to send daily photos and/or videos of your pet to you for peace of mind!
About: Need someone that loves your dog like you do? I can help! :) I’ve been an animal lover my whole life! I bring a calm and understanding care to every fur friend I look after. I currently dog walk a sweet 5 year old Boxer-mix weekly, but I’m excited to add more animals to my schedule. I build a bond with the pets in my care and am always looking for ways to personalize my approach to best fit their needs! -I also volunteer weekly as an animal care assistant at the Animal Humane Society! I am working part-time so I have lots of time to spend with your pet! I am available on weekdays for walks & drop-ins! I would love to meet your fur friend🐾 Making sure your pet feels comfortable is my top priority! I take the health and safety of the pet in my care very seriously. Ensuring that they receive their regular feedings times, potty breaks, medications, walks, play-time etc.! Aside from usual clean-ups (accidents/messes), I also do my best to tidy up as I go.
“Annie is fantastic! Our dog gets really excited when she sees Annie come to take her on a walk. Annie is a great communicator with us too. I highly recommend her to walk your furry loved one.”

About: I have had a dog (yellow lab) since I was in sixth grade, and I have taken care of coworker’s pets on occasion. I now have a rescue pitbull I love dearly. I can walk and play and sit with your pet to make sure they feel loved and have fun. I am currently out of school for the summer and I have a very flexible schedule, and I would love to come hang out with your pets! I like to hang out with animals and make them feel comfortable; I have a nice large fenced in backyard, and I have a car that I can take your pet in, if they like going in the car. I am used to giving a dog two walks a day, in the morning and evening.
“Molly truly treats your dogs like they’re her own. She fully embraces their personality, faults, quirks, and all. Anyone would be lucky to have their pets’ taken care of by Molly, they’re in GOOD hands!🤍”

About: Being a Dog-Mom is my favorite. I’m proud of being the person so many dogs trust. I love all animals. I buy a lottery ticket each week in hopes of creating a sanctuary for so many of my four legged friends. I have ability to provide daily care for your families dog at your home. Daily care means nutrition, attention and play, besides any other care requested. I approach all dogs with care, letting them know i am listening to them in all ways, physically and emotionally. A calm setting brings out the personality in some, play in others.
“Joanna was amazing and gave us so many updates on Chi-Chi while we were away. I was so happy she made time to meet us in advance and asked many questions to get to know Chi-Chi better. We came home to a very happy pup! 🐶 🐾 💕 Highly recommend 10/10”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats so I am versatile, bringing the silly to the park or the calm to the rest time. Would love to get to know you and your furry family members! I'm currently at home with my baby so I'm fairly flexible with my schedule. As long as I'm not nursing, I can pop over to give your fur babies some love! Before I meet your little buds, I want to have a thorough conversation with you about your expectations, pet, and home. If possible, I'd like to stop by while you're home to be introduced to your pet and get a tour. Communication is key and I want you to trust that your pet is getting the best care!

About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole life, from kittens to seniors, and since I was 12 I’ve watched my friends and neighbors dogs as well. I’ve given both cats and dogs medication as well as bottle fed them if they were too young for solid food. I have an incredibly flexible hybrid work schedule! Whatever you or your pets needs, I will be able to meet them without any work conflicts. You know your pet better than anyone. Whatever instructions you give me to keep them safe, happy, and healthy, I promise to follow exactly. I love animals and my schedule is very flexible, so whenever your needs are, I will do my absolute best to meet them!

About: Growing up in Colorado, I am no stranger to all types of wildlife and a variety of pets. I have spent many summers on a farm and believe it or not cows are like overgrown lovable doggies. I have vast experience with sick and abused animals and with an open heart and gentle touch I'm able to build trust and confidence in almost any pet. I'm physically active but also enjoy a nice snuggle on the couch. So if you have an athlete, couch potato or anything in between, I'm your man. I'm easy to get along with and have wonderful communication skills. I volunteer for several soup kitchens and food pantries. My life is to be of service to all living creatures through patienceand kindness. Call me with questions or concerns anytime. I look forward to bringing joy and safety to your home. Taking care of pets is a passion of mine. I love all life forms. I have a wonderful little girl that loves guests to play with. It's an everyday thing for us. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep yours company. We take long walks and trips to the park often. Snuggles on the couch are typical in this house. Meal time is the same time everyday and when we have guests we always separate the kids during meal time. Just to be safe.
“Alex has been absolutely wonderful! He has been very patient with Finn and allowed him to take his time warming up to him. Alex sends me daily photos which I really appreciate, and has offered to spend more time with Finn outside after noticing that Finn was enjoying it. I plan on continuing to use Alex’s services and highly suggest him!”

“She is as always wonderful with our Samantha. Sammy has special elder dog needs and Alisha has been so patient and kind with her , you’d think she was her own.”

About: No matter the size, breed or personality of your pet, earning their trust and friendship (along with your own trust) is my top priority. As a lifelong animal lover, I grew up in a multi-pet household taking care of dogs, birds and small animals. Since then, I have taken care of horses, anoles, cats, parakeets and my curiosity for getting to know an animal's individual personality has only grown over that time. I currently have two dogs: an Australian shepherd and border collie mix, both of whom I raised from puppies by myself. We are an active family, walking/hiking and in general spending time exploring the neighborhood for hours a day, traveling together for camping or cabin vacations in our spare time. It's cliche, but my dogs are truly my family and as a long-time Rover user on the customer side, I understand what it means to have a sitter/walker you can trust while you're away. I love finding people who strive to understand them as individuals and who are sensitive to their needs. My border collie is highly sensitive and I have learned to work within his limits, giving him the stimulation he needs by finding more isolated parks to sniff around, mental challenges inside, etc. that keep him entertained while reducing stress. I am more than comfortable getting to know your own pets' quirks and finding ways to keep their days consistent and stress-free. Pet care is already at the center of my life, as I have two energetic herding dogs. We walk frequently every day to help burn energy -- I like to let my dogs walk at their pace so they can sniff around and stimulate their brains while getting exercise. As someone with pets I understand the importance of trust-building in drop-in visit situations. As your schedule permits, we can meet beforehand via a meet and greet to get a feel for your schedule and space, and how to support your comfort and your pets'. Pets thrive with routine, and I strive to support that.
