About: What sets me apart is my mix of hands-on experience and medical knowledge. I’ve been dogsitting for 7 years, volunteered at animal shelters on and off for the past 4 years, and worked at a dog boarding facility and as a doggy day care attendant for about 1 year. I currently work as a vet assistant at an emergency clinic with almost 2.5 years of veterinary experience. I’m trained to spot early signs of pain, stress, or illness, stay calm in stressful situations, and handle medications and special needs. My biology degree with a psychology minor also helps me understand dog behavior, so I can read body language and help anxious or shy dogs feel safe. Owners can count on me for reliable updates and attentive care. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’ve dogsat for 7 years and work as a full time vet assistant at an ER clinic, so my schedule is consistent. I work 7am-7pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, plus a couple of rotating weekend shifts each pay period. I’m available on Mondays, Thursdays, and most weekends, and I can confirm exact dates in advance. I treat every pet like my own and every home with respect. I follow the owner’s instructions on feeding, medications, routines, and house rules, and I keep dogs safe, comfortable, and on their normal schedule. I have previous experience as a foster and served as a caretaker for a feral cat colony. One of my specialties is socializing feral/stray cats. I also have previous experience with dog walking. I have experience with giving oral/topical medications and am comfortable with learning to apply medication via injection if needed. I understand firsthand just how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your animals. I am more than happy to (and strongly suggest) that I meet with you prior to scheduled care to discuss your needs and to provide peace of mind that your animals are in the best possible care with me as their sitter. I work remotely from home and can be somewhat flexible on my availability. I can always be available any time after 3pm on weekdays and any time of day on weekend. You know your pet best. I will care for your pet as if it were my own and follow and/all instructions that you leave for me. I am in a unique situation of flexible working hours to be available for your pets and you. Need sitting for a small mammal or reptile? Reach out! I have experience in all sorts of small friends! I am a full time real estate agent which means my hours are flexible. Most of my work is done right from home and my days are neatly scheduled to make sure when I need to be out of the house, I will be able to return within a few hours. My schedule will only be open so long as I have the time to care for your pet in my home without too many hours away. If you are boarding your dog, rest assured, they will be comfortable and safe with me. I live in a secure condominium that has been pet-proofed since day one with a live-in Cavalier who is gentle as a lamb. Dogs will never be taken out without a leash and will never interact with anything outside of the home without my supervision. With my schedule, they will be taken out many times throughout the day and can be kept on any feeding schedule you require.

I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including different shedding levels, daily walks, playtime, feeding, and keeping up with their routines. My weekends are completely open, and I have plenty of availability to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve.
