He stayed with them for 9 days while I was traveling, and it was such a comfort knowing what capable hands my boy was in, especially since this was my first time using a sitter. Teddy can be quite nervous around new adult men, but Phil’s gentle energy won him over immediately. At the meet and greet prior to his stay, Teddy excitedly ran between Alison and Phil, soaking up all the love and attention. They asked lots of thoughtful questions about his routine, preferences, habits, health, and personality. It was helpful to see the home and yard he would be staying in, and I liked knowing he was going to be the only dog in their care since Teddy isn’t a fan of other dogs. Their attention to detail and ability to put my anxious boy at ease so quickly were SO reassuring. While I was gone, I got daily pupdates with lots of photos, some videos, and a summary of what they’ve been up to. Initially, they sent a morning and evening update, but because everything was going so smoothly, we did just an evening update for the rest of the trip. There was a heatwave and heavy smoke from wildfires several of the days they had Teddy, and they adjusted his routine to accommodate and keep everyone safe. Pickup and drop off were also nice and stress free. All in all it was a 10/10 experience. I will absolutely be rebooking next time we need a sitter and cannot recommend them enough!”

About: I love having dog friends around and so does my little dog Boo Boo. My dog is 17lbs and loves to play. I enjoy teaching dogs new tricks or brushing up on any training that needs to be done. I typically walk my dog 3 times a day and can accomodate more if needed. I also have a fenced in backyard that your dog is welcome to roam around in. I live 10 minutes from the airport which helps for easy drop off/pickup if you are traveling by plane. I know how special our dog friends are so I hope to treat them like part of the family when they are here. Dogs are such special little creatures and I'm so grateful we get to have them in our lives. I currently work at home 3 days a week and in the office 2 days a week. Adjustments can possibly be made if needed. If I'm watching your dog, I would plan to be home most of the time during their stay. I have a fenced yard and dogs are allowed to roam free in the house unless other needs are required. If your dog needs to be crated, I have a small kennel that can be used, otherwise a larger one will need to be provided. Dogs are expected to be potty trained unless they are still a puppy.

About: We have a double lot that is fenced in with lots of squirrels in the tree for your dog to keep track of. There is also a small but fun little dog that loves to play and run around. When your dog gets tired, there are ample laps available for hanging out indoors. Experienced dog sitters looking to help out the dogs who don’t want to be home alone all day, or help you get out for a trip. We both have very flexible work schedules, and boarding and daycare can include walks, yard hangs, and precise food schedules. Walks are already built into a daily routine. I have a fully fenced in yard that is tall enough to keep most dogs from jumping. Depending on the dogs needs, I am happy to limit outside time to walks or supervised yard play.
About: I previously worked part time at a dog daycare as a dog handler. As a dog handler I’ve gained experience with all types of dogs and puppies such as treatments, feedings, and bathing. About: I've been a pet owner since I was a child. In our 40+ year marriage, my wife and I have owned two Maltese, two Shelties, and two Shih Tzus. Each pair simultaneously. Intermittently during the last four decades, we have also owned cats. In addition, I took care of our daughter's Labrador mix for a year while she studied in Europe. And now, I fly to Austin, Texas when she vacations to care for her Great Pyrenees, a Chihuahua mix, and a cat. I currently manage the remnants of a company I founded from my basement office. My work typically occupies less than an hour daily and can be done outside regular business hours, so my pet care schedule is very flexible. I regularly walk our Shih Tzus around the neighborhood and, weather permitting, take them to a nearby dog park. I also play Fetch with them in the house and give them daily massages. I usually take one of the dogs with me when I run errands in the car.

“Alison & Phil were phenomenal sitters for my 12 year old Australian shepherd, Teddy! He stayed with them for 9 days while I was traveling, and it was such a comfort knowing what capable hands my boy was in, especially since this was my first time using a sitter. Teddy can be quite nervous around new adult men, but Phil’s gentle energy won him over immediately. At the meet and greet prior to his stay, Teddy excitedly ran between Alison and Phil, soaking up all the love and attention. They asked lots of thoughtful questions about his routine, preferences, habits, health, and personality. It was helpful to see the home and yard he would be staying in, and I liked knowing he was going to be the only dog in their care since Teddy isn’t a fan of other dogs. Their attention to detail and ability to put my anxious boy at ease so quickly were SO reassuring. While I was gone, I got daily pupdates with lots of photos, some videos, and a summary of what they’ve been up to. Initially, they sent a morning and evening update, but because everything was going so smoothly, we did just an evening update for the rest of the trip. There was a heatwave and heavy smoke from wildfires several of the days they had Teddy, and they adjusted his routine to accommodate and keep everyone safe. Pickup and drop off were also nice and stress free. All in all it was a 10/10 experience. I will absolutely be rebooking next time we need a sitter and cannot recommend them enough!”
