“My dog’s stay at Promise house was absolute wonderful! It was like camp for dogs! Great communication, updates and a loving caring environment, what more do you want?!”

“Tim is the most awesome sitter ever. Mia is always treated as family. She has some health issues now, and Tim made sure she got her meds. He takes her on walks everyday, and Mia loves the fenced yard! We use Tim exclusively for our furbaby. We know she is well taken care of and loved. Thank you for above and beyond service my friend!”

“Thank you for taking such great care of Sherlock! He was very tired today and didn't even supervise papa while he did laundry tonight! 😅 The daily pictures and updates put us at ease and it looks like he settled in just fine. I am also glad to hear you would have him back again. He is a good boy and very sweet. 😀”

“Maria was a great dog sitter for Sawyer and we’d definitely recommend her! We haven’t used Rover much before, and she made us feel really comfortable with how responsive she was and how much effort she put into sending us picture updates throughout the weekend. Sawyer came home tired and happy, so we know he got lots of love and attention while we were gone! 😊”

“We had Erin watch our 6 month old puppy while we were out of town for a few days and had a great experience. Communication was great with several pictures along with comments of how he was doing each day. I will definitely book again in the future as needed!”

“Colleen and Joe took amazing care of our dog, Tobi! I felt very comfortable, leaving him in their care. They even went above and beyond to send pictures and give Tobi a bath after a long day outside. Will absolutely use them in the future!”

“Dustin was so kind and wonderful to my little guys! I would definitely work with him again. This was my first time using Rover and I'm now super confident in the experience!”

“Thank you Eric and Martha for taking my pup in with such joy and enthusiasm! He wouldn’t stop talking on the car ride home about all the fun things he did with you, picking up sticks, recycling cardboard boxes, and getting extra treats. Keep up the great job!”

“So thankful to find a dog sitter our dog loves! Andrew is wonderful, and so great at giving us updates which we appreciate. We trust him so much our pup will be back in a few weeks.”

“My dog has stayed with Sarah twice, and both times he was in good hands! Sarah does a great job, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for boarding or other pet care.”

“Amy is great to work with. Our dogs loved it. They came home very exhausted that is great for us. Amy communicates with you quickly and sends daily pictures. She has a fenced in yard that helps and assists with dogs running about for exercise. I would highly recommend Amy to help you with your fur babies.”

“This was our first time having Penny stay with Susan and Craig, and they were amazing! Our anxious dog settled right in with them. We will definitely have Penny stay with them the next time we go out of town!”

“Judy was great for our dog Willow. Willow very quickly took to Judy and Judy made her feel at home quickly. We really appreciate the regular communication and pictures we got while out of town. Willow came home happy and healthy and we would use Judy again.”

“Kira and Alejandro were amazing with our dog! He stayed for a week in their home and seemed to have a very fun time. They sent many photos and updates throughout the stay which helped me feel at ease, and I would definitely recommend them for dog boarding and sitting needs!”

“Jen was fantastic. Great communication and frequent updates throughout the stay. She took wonderful care of Fonzie who took to her immediately. She was also very flexible around my schedule. We'll be back for sure.”

“Tori was well taken care of during her stay at Susie’s. Susie is delightful and enjoys keeping dogs. You can see by her enthusiasm and sense of pride in her care. Definitely will use her again.”

“Miss Terrie was a rockstar when it came to taking care of my little Fu last week. I had not had Fu a week when I had to leave town for a family situation. Terrie was so helpful with Fu...even though Fu turned out to be not very good when it came to her crate. (She ate her way out of it, the second day.) Terrie just went out and bought her a used one, no fuss at all. She is an exceptionally nice person and an obvious dog lover. She was kind enough to send me pictures of Fu, and enough information that I did not worry about being away. I am very grateful to Terrie for making it possible for me to be away without any fears for my dog.”

“Hannah is amazing! We've left our girl with her twice now, and she took really good care of her and adapted to her needs for 100%! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back ❤️”

“Elsa and Nick are so kind and caring. I felt very confident that Jasper was being well-cared for and doted on while he was with them. I had a flight hiccup and Elsa spent a lot of time communicating with me to figure out a good solution. She's so patient and kind. I highly recommend!”

“Kaitlyn was so great! We asked for her help on kind of short notice and she was still able to meet us ahead of the visits at our home to get to know us and the kitties before our trip. She left super detailed notes and took lots and lots of pictures at all of her visits. Every time we got a check in card, we were super excited to read the update on the kitties and see their photos. I am so thankful for Kaitlyn spending time with them while we were gone and for her attentiveness to their feeding routine. We would definitely use Rover again and work with Kaitlyn again!!!”

“Maddy does a great job and is very reliable! She has watched my cat, Reuben Baker quite a bit and when I return he is always happy and healthy. Would highly recommend!”

“Briana was awesome! She was quick to respond, followed my cat's drop-in care instructions perfectly, and sent me pictures and videos daily. I'd highly recommend booking with her.”

“Andrew is our go-to sitter! He is consistent, communicates well, and always prioritizes hanging out with our cat. Highly recommend, and will continue to use him!”

“My mind was put at ease and I felt like I could relax better while I was out of town for a long weekend. I really appreciated all of the cute photos and updates with each visit. Thanks to Ryan for being so patient, but persistent with my “scaredy-cat.” I’m glad he made a new friend :-)”

“Krista is a genuinely cheerful person who truly loves animals, and it shows. She is incredibly professional and precise, following all my briefing instructions perfectly and managing a somewhat complex key-handover without any issues. Not only did she ensure that food, water, and the litter box were always perfectly clean, but she also spent time giving my cat long, fun play sessions. I felt completely at ease leaving my cat in her hands”

“Jessica was great! Very friendly, communicative and made sure I received complete updates about my cats. I could tell they were cared for properly and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

About: My family has had cats since I was a baby. From calm and cuddly to feisty and fierce. From kitten to senior I’ve see it all. I can give meds if needed, clean the litter box, feed them when needed and maybe even give them a little treat if parents say it’s ok. I can also water flowers and get your mail if you need. I only work three days a week. It is different days every week but 5 days out of the week I am able to take care of your prized possessions. My cats get fed a certain amount twice daily. Litter box is always clean, and toys always out. I’ll even keep a box or two if it’s big enough (or until my husband throws it away).

“Teresa did a fantastic job. My cats were happy and well cared for, and I really appreciated the updates during her check-ins, and she even took extra time to sit with my needy cat who really misses getting attention when I'm gone. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Ciboney is so thoughtful and kind. We asked to schedule a drop in visit before our kitty’s extended stay and she was very accommodating- and so fun to meet! We ended up chatting over some tea. I absolutely trust her with my little one and recommend her :)”

“Jessica has been so great with Phil! He needs to stretch his legs during our longer work days and Jess has been wonderful! She has given us the peace of mind as we transition to working out of the home full time!”

“Maia took wonderful care of our cat, Princess Leia, while we were out of town for four days. She was an excellent communicator, keeping us updated and giving us peace of mind that everything was going smoothly. When we returned home, both our house and our cat were clearly well cared for. Princess Leia was happy to see us, but she also seemed calm, relaxed, and content, which is always the best sign that she's been in good hands. Maia's drop-in visits gave us confidence that our cat was getting the attention and care she needed while we were away. We would absolutely trust Maia with our home and pets again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter.”

“Words cannot describe how thankful we are for Izzy. We were able to truly enjoy our vacation knowing that Turkey was being so well cared for. We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. Her calm, easygoing, yet detail-oriented character made our time away completely worthwhile. We will absolutely continue requesting Izzy’s care moving forward!”

About: New info- for my canine clients who are kennel trained- We have several spacious kennels and dog beds so rest assured that you dont have to bring yours. The kennels and dog beds are both washed and sanitized in between pups. We also have a dog bowls and extra poop bags on hand. For your elderly pup, pups that have recently had surgery or those with little legs- We have a doggie ramp for our stairs. I have been a pet owner for the past 20 years, mostly cats, but a few dogs. I will probably be a pet owner for the rest of my life. When I was younger I volunteered at my local animal hospital. I have previously had a Pomeranian (who was prone to seizures) as well as a terrier. I currently belong (yes they own me) 3 cats, Callie (aged 10), Simba (aged 7) and Soxxs (age unknown at least aged 5). I can't wait to meet your furry friend and have lots of fun together. I work full time Mon- Fri, so this is will be after work and on the weekends. I am willing to watch senior dogs and special needs dogs, as I believe that every dog needs love and care. I look forward to meeting you sooner rather than later. I have a fenced in yard. We do kennel when we are out of the house and during meal times to ensure your canine doesn't eat something they aren't supposed to. Winter boardings- we use pet safe sidewalk salt in addition to wiping off paws after walks. I work Mon- Fri, I am home on the weekends, as well as my husband is off on Sunday & Monday. Pets are always cared for as we are on opposite shifts. We provide plenty of walks and love for your pets. We usually stays away from dogs parks just because other dogs could be more aggressive. FAQ's: What to bring- a blanket/dog bed, toys, treats, food, leash/harness/leader, medicine (if applicable). For heat sensitive breeds: our house does have central a/c and we do have wood floors- which helps keep your pup cool. We do a potty break & breakfast in the morning (between 6 & 7 am), several walks thoughout the day. We do have littles so we do crate during meal times. We do one last potty break in the evening (between 8 & 10 pm) This can be changed as each pup is different and has different needs. We do potty breaks through our the day and several walks. My husband and I are on opposite schedules so someone is always home with the pups. We do keep dog soap on hand in the event a bath is needed.
“Amber always does a great job with our cat and is always very respectful of our home. Our cat also likes Amber a lot! My husband and I had to reschedule our booking and we were so grateful she was able to squeeze us in to the new dates. Thank you, Amber!”

“Kira was a great communicator and sent photos throughout the day. I liked knowing that Bandit had some dog friends but also got more person attention than at a big daycare. He came home tired!”

“Howie and Betsy were convenient, accommodating and flexible with my work schedules. They clearly love dogs and my baby boy was always happy to get out of the car and rush in to their home! Thank you.”

About: Hi! I’m Noah and I have 15 years of experience with all sorts of dogs. I grew up with dogs of all sizes, from Great Danes to miniature dachshunds. My favorite part of being around dogs is playing with them, seeing their happy faces, and getting to experience nature with them. While I’ve never had a cat to call my own, I have played with and taken care of many cats over the years! I am currently a dog dad to a three-year old energetic dachshund and a German Shepherd mix puppy! I can’t wait to meet your pets! I work from home and am generally available after 4:30pm or before 7:30am, but I can be flexible! I live in an area with access to convenient walking trails and parks. Your pet’s safety, security, and health are my top priorities. I understand the trust you're placing in me to care for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously.
“Evie at so much fun! Great that she could play in the backyard with the other dogs. Taylor provided a video and photos throughout the day. Would recommend Taylor!”

About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).
“Nova had a great stay with Jessie and Harley! She loved getting her zoomies out in the backyard and enjoyed a nice walk, too. By the time we got home, she was ready for a good nap. Jessie was kind, communicative, and super easy to coordinate with.”

“Kaitlin is AMAZING!! Since I’ve been on Rover, I’ve had 2 amazing sitters and Kaitlin is one of them… she has made my Luna feel at home. I hope our relationship is forever. Thanks Kaitlin”

“We couldn’t be happier with how well-loved our sweet girl is every time she goes to Madilyn’s! She is clearly showered with snuggles and treats and love and has a great time getting to hang out with Mowgli and the kitties, too, as well as other friendly humans. We feel lucky to have such great care so close by. Thanks, Madi!”
“Nicole is absolutely amazing! My little guy is almost 15 weeks and loves to be outside. I greatly appreciated her taking him out for walks, making sure he was happy, taking him out for a multitude of potty breaks (sometimes 2 times in an hour if needed) and keeping me updated throughout the day. I highly recommend Nicole, especially if you want your dog to be well cared for!!”

“Alyson is wonderful! Our pup stayed with her while we were visiting town and I'm so so glad we found her. Alyson was super responsive and easy to communicate with and really flexible. Plus my pup was zonked out after we picked him up, so he must have played a lot and had a great time.”

“She was absolutely amazing! I'm a rover sitter myself and have been for years and even though she is newer to the game she's doing absolutely everything right! My dog is very sleepy and happy, I will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her”

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“Absolutely incredible experience. Celia was easy to communicate with and sent me pics of my pup throughout the day. I would love to book again - highly recommmend”

I’m also extremely empathetic and loving. I would treat your pets like I treat my own - with respect, divinity, and love. Play times are my favorite so your pets will have plenty of fun time with me. If you’re open to having my dog Marley in your home I can bring him for play dates.
“Kayla was a life saver for me this past week! I typically work from home but was traveling for work - so Kayla came over during the workdays to take Barley for a walk. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and currently care for three of my own, so I understand the love, attention, and consistency they need every day. Caring for them has given me hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, bathing, administering medications when needed, and recognizing each dog’s unique personality and routine. I’m a dependable, patient, and attentive sitter who will care for your pet as if they were my own. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m also respectful of your home and will keep everything clean and well cared for during house sits or drop in. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. I know every pet is part of the family, and my goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your furry friend. I’m home from college for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to caring for pets. My main commitments are dog sitting and babysitting, which allows me to provide reliable care, frequent walks, playtime, potty breaks, and overnight stays. I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine and make sure they receive the attention and companionship they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions so they feel secure while you’re away. In your home, I’ll respect your space, keep it clean, and maintain your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and receiving loving, attentive care.
About: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am a huge animal lover and have grown up/cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with mostly Norwegian Elkhounds but had one Carin terrier find his way to my family. Currently I have 1 Norwegian Elkhound named Bear who is about 6 years old and my best friend. My boyfriend and I recently adopted 2 cats from the animal Humane Society named Jack and Lucas. I have been pet sitting since high school and have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbit, fish and hamsters. When I am not with animals I can be found hiking, reading, knitting or playing video games. I am currently making my way through the Nancy Drew series and hoping to finish a scarf by Christmas time. I try to stay active and like taking my dog on long walks especially in the summer. I am currently working full time as an Ophthalmic Technician but working on reducing my hours as I try and go back to school. Even while working full time make it a priority to take care of my pets and hopefully yours soon! My pets currently run the home. They have free reign of the entire house and nap, eat and sometimes even potty where ever they like.

About: Hi! my name Juliana. As an experienced pet caretaker, I have the knowledge and skills that make me the perfect choice for taking care of your pet! I have taken care of both family and friend’s pets ( cats and dogs) and I understand the importance of providing attentive and loving care to make sure they are comfortable and happy. As a Dachshund owner myself, I know how important it is to follow routines and keep in mind specific needs. You can trust that I will provide your furry friend/child with the same level of care and attention that I give my own. Currently my schedule is limited because I don’t work from home, except for Fridays. Therefore, I’m available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for walks and drop ins. I can easy walk your dog and provide the exercise they need around the North Loop / Downtown Minneapolis area. For cat owners, I can provide visits to make sure food and litter are taken care of. Additionally, I volunteer at Minneapolis Animal Care & Control with both cats and dogs, which has helped me to understand behaviors and how to manage difficult situations.
About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)
About: I’ve taken care of many different pets my whole life, I grew up with many different pets in my family. I currently have a well trained pet of my own, my friends and family come to me when they are in need of a sitter. I’m currently a part time college student, so I only go to class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, with my remaining time out of school, I have plenty of time to play and hangout with pets! I do not have a fully fenced yard but I do have a gated area on the side of my house. The gated area is big enough for dogs to run and play! I also have a small dog of my own to keep other dogs entertained!

About: I work from home and attend university online as well. So I will be with my furry friends 24/7. I never really leave them alone. When I doggy sit, I've always thought of them as my own while they are around. While I have them, I get to play with them, walk around and get my walks in, enjoy Netflix on the couch, and more importantly naps and cuddles together! When I walk them, I am always aware of other dogs and I'm always protective of "my" dogs, unless I know for sure the other dog/s are super nice. I love a happy dog. My partner can tell you I cry easily when I see a suffering animal of any kind, especially dogs. So If I'm doggy sitting, I make sure they know love. I work from home so this would be a great opportunity for me to make extra money but to also have a dog around. My two cats, Felix and Oscar, past away recently (they had a great 20 years!) and I miss having a pet buddy around. I've been a regular dog sitter for my friends (shout out to Jake the shy but awesome boston terrier, Kingsley the lovable and kind pit bull and Gus Gus the instagram famous french bull dog!) So, I know this will be a great opportunity for me. I work from home and attend university online so I am home 24/7. Unless it's an emergency, I will be with your dog ALL the time I'm with them. I love and follow instructions very well and in detail pertaining to the dogs' specific care given to me. I ALWAYS send daily photos and messages with updates about the dogs.
About: Hi friends! My name is Robin, I’m 29, and I’m an artist living in northeast Minneapolis currently working in the service industry. While I don’t have any pets of my own, I am my community’s right-hand-gal when it comes to pet care. I also spend my free time often reading and consuming content about dog training and working with reactive pups. It is important to me that my presence is known by the animals in my life to be calm and joyful and consistent. I’ve got lots of attention to give and lots of patience - looking to overflow back into the families around me through helping care and tend to their pets. I am most familiar with having small dogs be a part of my family but have built my pet experience recipe to the brim with dogs of all sizes and ages as well as playful & shy cats and kittens. Don’t let the “gap in my resume” fool you - I’ve been servicing families in my area consistently (they just text me the old fashioned way ;)). I am currently in-between jobs so I have more open availability than normal. I currently have a standing commitment Wed-Friday 1pm-3pm, but that is my only limitation at this time. I am located in NE Minneapolis. I like to simulate what a normal day might look like for them while adapting to their particular needs surrounding getting to know a new friend (me!). I pride myself in being able to match the energy of animals and display to them that my job is to make sure they’re safe and I do not need to be in their physical space when they don’t want it. I love cuddling up with a lil silly sleepy pal but I won’t even be putting my hands on them regularly until/unless it is absolutely clear that they’re ready and wanting attention from me like that.

“Kira and Alejandro were amazing with our dog! He stayed for a week in their home and seemed to have a very fun time. They sent many photos and updates throughout the stay which helped me feel at ease, and I would definitely recommend them for dog boarding and sitting needs!”

“Catherine is amazing! She was super responsive & flexible with a last minute change in schedule, administered antibiotics while we were away, and we feel totally comfortable leaving our pup in her care.”

“William took care of our Mini Schnauzer for 11 days while we were at a national conference. He sent daily photos and words about our dog. This was a daily refresher for us knowing our dog was in good hands. Communicating with William was superb!”

“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing. Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“This was our first experience with Rover and it went SO WELL!! Kara and Adam were super responsive and accommodating. It felt so nice knowing that our buddy was in good hands. I know that Bruce has a good time too, because he was SUPER tuckered our when he got home from all the love he was given. What a great family!!”

“Sheree was an amazing sitter to our Wanda Claire. She took her on walks/to dog parks and even sent us pictures and updated us as to how Wanda was doing. We will definitely be asking her in the future to watch our baby!”
