About: Hi! I really love being around dogs as I have grown up with four dogs since I was a kid! They have been my best friends my entire life and I wouldn't have traded away a single moment with them. I am experienced in taking care of dogs and love to be around them and play! Not everyone understands how much effort goes into taking care of your best friend but I do! My family currently fosters and looks after dogs which encouraged me to do something similar. We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. I work from home most days in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, with 1–2 days a week in the office. On home days I'm available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and check-ins. On office days, your pup will still get a solid morning and evening routine, and plenty of company once I'm back. There's no private yard, but there's a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience caring for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I've been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home a lot and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! One or two days a week, I have to be at the office; I'll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled before I go. On Saturdays, I'm less flexible for check-in and check-out, since I'm away in the morning for volunteer work. I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

About: Ever since I was a kid, I begged my parents for a dog every day of my life. I never got one as a kid, but I have sure made up for it since! I got involved with Grey Face Rescue and have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years. I am very proud to have gotten seven foster dogs to their forever homes. If it was up to me, I would have many dogs of my own, but I have a crazy work schedule in the summer, which would not allow me to care for a dog. In the fall, winter, and spring I love to bring animals into my home. During these months, I work from home and I am able to give many walks and lots of attention! My fosters typically get two 30 minute walks a day, which is something I also really enjoy. If your dog comes to stay with me, they would get to meet my child who loves dogs just as much as I do, and my cat who pretty much stays clear of any dog that is brought into the home. About: Dogs have always been apart of my life, as I always had a dog growing up and at one point owned 5 dogs. To me having 5 dogs is no different than having 1, as long as you have enough love to go around. All they want to do is love you and make you happy, so how can you not love them in return. I have 3 dogs of my own right now and enjoy spending time with them. I probably spoil them as they know when I come home with bags that there is more than likely a treat or toy for them. About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.

We have a decent-sized, secure yard for quick outdoor play, and we are located in a highly walkable neighborhood with easy access to local parks and trails, perfect for daily sniff-and-stretch walks. What makes my home unique is that your pet will be part of our family. My 4-year-old child is a huge animal lover who enjoys helping with gentle care, like supervised playtime and giving treats. Your booking is priority one, and is always completed before other work is done. If you are requesting house sitting, I’ll be with your pet until I have to leave to briefly care for my own pets. If your dog is well behaved, I would have no problem bringing them along with me when I run around town. If you are requesting drop in visits or dog walking, I will be able to attend your home whenever you book me. I’m available throughout the day, up until 10pm. I will be sure your pet is always in sight when going outside, or always on a leash if you do not have a fenced yard. I will take precautions to make sure your animals do not escape when I am entering or exiting the house by being aware of their presence when opening or shutting doors, or making sure to block their potential exits when I am entering or exiting. I will be sure to secure any cages, kennels or enclosures, along with your residence when I leave for any reason, assuring neither your pet will be safe while alone while also not getting into mischief.

About: Ever since I was a kid, I begged my parents for a dog every day of my life. I never got one as a kid, but I have sure made up for it since! I got involved with Grey Face Rescue and have been fostering dogs for the last 5 years. I am very proud to have gotten seven foster dogs to their forever homes. If it was up to me, I would have many dogs of my own, but I have a crazy work schedule in the summer, which would not allow me to care for a dog. In the fall, winter, and spring I love to bring animals into my home. During these months, I work from home and I am able to give many walks and lots of attention! My fosters typically get two 30 minute walks a day, which is something I also really enjoy. If your dog comes to stay with me, they would get to meet my child who loves dogs just as much as I do, and my cat who pretty much stays clear of any dog that is brought into the home. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I work from home and have constant availability to meet any dog’s schedule. I love providing them with multiple daily walks and any sort of engagement they need. There are no off-limits areas for your dog in my home. All of our furniture is open to pets. We are very well-versed in keeping food off the counter and ensuring that is a safe environment for your dog. I even have multiple size dog beds from my years of fostering as well as toys, bowls and all the equipment so they can travel lightly!
