About: Hello! My name is Andy, and I have many years of experience loving and taking care of all sorts of animals! Over the years, my family has had a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, and bunnies—and we’ve also watched many, many more than that short-term. We are familiar with many types of animals and feel comfortable following your specific instructions for their care. I love animals of all kinds and will treat your pets lovingly with the care you expect and deserve. Spoiling your pet with a lot of love and personalized attention while keeping them safe and secure are my main goals as your pet sitter. I will be as active or relaxed as your dog needs- anything your dog requires for a safe and happy stay, I will gladly provide. I strive to always carefully follow your instructions. I am an animal advocate with extensive animal handlers and training experience. For many years, I have worked as an animal volunteer and foster parent for animals to be adopted. I have a soft spot for dogs of all kinds, and over the years have personally adopted spaniels, terriers, doodles, shepherds, and cats. I promise to treat your pet as if it is my own, play with it, give it tons of attention and love, and make sure it is fed and comfy while in my care. I have cared for my neighbors and friends pets for the past 30 years. I'm known by all as being a loving pet mom. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s) soon! I am available daily for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I have experience training dogs and working with rescued animals. Our family dogs are rescues and fosters, and they were trained and cared for by me. They are now certified therapy animals. Also, I feel comfortable giving medications and caring for older animals or those with special needs. I have experience working with animals that need extra attention or care due to a rough past or neglect. As their foster mom, my dogs are rescues that came from neglectful situations and had to be nursed back to health. Both have undergone amazing transformations and are happy, healthy, loving, and playful now. I’ve taken care of many very small dogs and understand their specific needs intimately, as my family owns a number of small pets—and I’ve taken care of larger dogs and understand their needs and likes too, as I’ve supervised the maturation and training of several larger dogs. Speaking of training—I’m confident with pets of any level of training! In fact, if anything I’m something of a good influence on untrained animals, owing to my experience training animals over the years. Pets, especially clever pets, love to get a command correct and get a treat for it! As far as more “exotic” pets, I’m comfortable with a lot! I think animals are fascinating and love to meet new ones—even in elementary school I was one of the kids who took care of our class animals, including our snakes (a rainbow boa and a constrictor), and our iguana (aptly named “Iggy”)—so I’m not afraid of interesting animal friends! I’ll gladly watch your peafowl or your domesticated fox or your ferret, and I’ll take care of it like it was my own. I love animals of all kinds and will treat your pets lovingly with the care you expect and deserve. We would love to connect with you at a meet and greet or schedule a play date at a park to get to know you. I'm available every day of the week to walk, house sit, or drop-in on your pets. I enjoy playing with and photographing the animals I care for, giving treats, and reinforcing training. I all love animals and think of our pets as members of our family. We will treat your pet as if they are one of the family too, with much love, cuddles, and stimulating play! I am a photographer and used to work at a pet kennel, but recently moved, so I am available daily for any service you require. I will follow any instructions you leave very carefully, and will communicate with you multiple times daily to let you know how your pets are doing. My schedule is flexible and I'm ready to accommodate your pet care needs, and will send you photos of your happy pet as often as you like! I am currently working from home and am able to dedicate a lot of time to care for your pets!

About: I bring a calm energy and genuine love for each and every dog especially when I have a very hyper/social pug at home. I’m very patient, which helps especially shy or anxious ones—feel relaxed and secure. I focus on routines, attentive to behavior, and keeping your pets comfortable. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to providing loving, consistent care that pet owners can trust. Since moving to Minneapolis and currently having some free time. I have dedicated my time/availability to pet care and sitting at any day and time! For clients home I provide consistent, attentive pet sitting by following their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, daily walks or litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship to keep pets calm and comfortable in their own environment. I also administer medication if needed, monitor behavior for any changes, and ensure water bowls are always fresh and full. I keep the home tidy by cleaning up after pets and respecting your space. Regular updates with photos and messages help keep owners reassured while they’re away.

About: Two years ago, I lost the last of my dogs. Both my German Shepard, Heidi and my Pitbull, China, lived to be 14 and 16 years old respectively. I guess I have grieved so much that I'm not ready to have a dog of my own yet. However, I really do miss having a dog. I love them so much. I think the reason my dogs lived healthy lives is that I was religious about walking them and paying attention to them. I walked them everyday, at least twice per day. Long walks, too. I'm not opposed to walking a mile or so, (an hour walk). I'm also not opposed to picking up poop. I always carry bags with me and I think of it as a responsible dog owner to pick up after your dog. I know how to handle dogs and what to look for should they be stressed when meeting other dogs. Both my dogs were very territorial when it came to meeting other dogs in the park. I took both of my dogs to Dog Obedience classes and I know how to get them out of a situation should they become aggressive when meeting other dogs. Usually, with Heidi and China, I would shorten their leash and pull them far away from other dogs. I was always vigilant and really wouldn't allow strangers to pet them, because I didn't want to take chances that they would bite anyone. I am well-versed with the Minneapolis Animal Control rules, as they are somewhat biased against pitbulls. Depending on whether your dog is leash trained, would be the size dog I could handle. I know that I can handle a dog who is at least 40 lbs. However, if you have a giant dog who is leash trained, I would be willing to walk that dog as well. I currently work as a school nurse M-F. We get summers off, so I would be available everyday at any time after June 5th. During the school year, I can walk dogs in the evenings any time after 4:00. I am willing to take care of your pet in your home. If I am pet sitting during the school year, I will be gone to work from 6:30 - 4:00. During the summer, I can be with your pet 24/7. I may be willing to watch your pet in my home, but I do have a cat and I'm not sure how she will be around dogs.

About: I've had dogs almost my entire life and have been taking care of the dogs of friends and family for the past 11 years. This ranges from absolute cuddle bug Yorkies to energetic labs. I work from 6-3:30 Sunday through Thursday, but making sure that the animals in my care have a regular schedule as best fits around that is key. First thing in the morning I'd be making sure the animals in my care have access to food and water and taken outside to do their business as applicable. Once I get home I recheck food and water needs and take care of their play and exercise needs. I have a fenced in yard and depending on the animal's needs, they can be crated or allowed to roam around the house. The specifics may vary depending on the type of pet and the owner's preferences or special instructions.

About: I love dogs, no matter the size, age, or breed, I am determined to be your dogs new best friend! I've been dog sitting for a few years now within my neighborhood, but I started doing it professionally this year. I've always loved animals, so getting to spend time with your beloved pets is such a privilege! I am currently a college student, but I do online classes so the majority of my time is devoted to dogs. I am committed to providing personalized, and loving care around the clock. While your pets are here, I try to maintain their home schedules as much as possible, for example, if they eat at a certain time At home, that's the time they'll eat here. I've noticed that it helps ease the transition between my home and yours. To them, my home is just an extension of their home. I also have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and dogs who may be recovering from illnesses or surgeries. I can administer oral or topical medications and provide cpr if it were ever necessary. If your dog has specific or specialized needs, please let me know and I will ensure I work with you and them to provide the best care possible. My schedule completely revolves around the dogs. As I've mentioned I do online classes so I can adjust my schedule to the needs of your dog. I am very flexible with pick up and drop off times as well. You are always free to adjust times with no extra charge, just send me a message and we'll work out the best time for you. I also do not charge in situations such as a missed flight, illness, or other unforseen circumstances that may require your dog to be in my care for a little longer. My main goal is to always treat your dogs like my own! Everyday I ensure to tell your dogs how much I love them and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I also have a large fenced in yard where your dog can run and play, during the summer I usually hangout outside with the dogs for a good part of the day. If your dog is social, my dogs love to play and socialize with yours. I have a Golden Retriever and a Havapoo, they're both neutered and very friendly, and Rex my golden is very gentle with smaller dogs. If your dogs prefer to be on their own, I can do staggered outside time and keep them separate, no problem! While we're inside the dogs will usually walk around the house with me, either in my room or following whatever I'm doing. If for some reason they need to be in their own space or if it could be unsafe for them to do that, they will be in the laundry room at times like at night when I cannot fully keep my eyes on them.

About: Dogs have always been apart of my life, as I always had a dog growing up and at one point owned 5 dogs. To me having 5 dogs is no different than having 1, as long as you have enough love to go around. All they want to do is love you and make you happy, so how can you not love them in return. I have 3 dogs of my own right now and enjoy spending time with them. I probably spoil them as they know when I come home with bags that there is more than likely a treat or toy for them. I am available any day and time and have a fenced yard. I am reliable and trustworthy and would treat your dog with care, respect and love.

About: I have CPR training, years of caretaking and medication administration experience, and a lifetime of loving on pets of all ages and sizes. Informal pet sitting has also been a part of my routine for many years.
