“Leah was great for Arf’s daily walk. She was on time, sent a report and pictures each day. She was accommodating when I needed to add an extra day and prompt to respond. We will definitely use her again!”

“I got in a pinch and needed a dog walker last minute and Dawn was a literal life saver! She was absolutely perfect with my puppy and took top notch care of her and gave her all of the loving she needed when I was gone. For all services, do not hesitate to book Dawn!”

About: Every animal is different and I take the time to listen and get to know each of your individual pets quirks, abilities, and triggers. I’ve had animals all my life from small to large dogs and cats, living with roommates animals, and integrating pets with each other. Im good at being as attuned as possible to each animal from life experience and a little bit of research, but no formal training. I work for myself as a full time freelancer, so I create my own schedule and am super flexible! I’m pretty good with last minute needs and quick trips as i’m all over Minneapolis pretty often. I pay attention and follow all of the specific details about each pet for every client. I make sure to give them ample play time or cuddles and if they’re staying with me, properly introduce them to my cats. I have a backyard for running around and an upstairs just in case I need to separate animals and still give them plenty of space.
About: I'm a theatre teacher dog and cat lover and when I have some extra time I'm delighted to spend it keeping your furry family member happy, safe, and loved while you're away! As an educator, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility to pet care. Whether it’s energetic walks, relaxing cuddle time, or sticking to special routines, I tailor each visit to your pet’s unique personality and needs. You can count on me for: 🎭 Daily walks, playtime, and enrichment 🐾 Drop-in visits 🦴 Feeding, meds, and updates with adorable photos 🏠 Respectful, tidy care of your home during visits I have a sweet rescue pit-pyrenees mix named Atlas. He can be a little wary of new dogs in his space at first, but he warms up after a few minutes and has a great time with playmates that come to stay for daycare. I will only care for one dog family in my home at a time (up to 2 dogs.) As a devoted dog parent, I know how important it is to trust someone with your family member(s), and I’d be honored to provide a reliable, loving presence while you’re away. Let’s connect—I can’t wait to meet your furry family! I'm a theatre teacher with a somewhat flexible schedule, but I typically only accept dogs for daycare on weekends, or days off of school. As far as drop-ins or walks, I have much more availability and can take early morning, later afternoon or evening clients. I’ll potentially be available during Thanksgiving and Winter Break for Housesitting, with the caveat that it means my dog Atlas would need to come stay in your home as well. He’s a good boy and handles himself in another dog’s home well. I live in the bottom unit of a duplex home and have full access to a fully fenced in yard. My upstairs neighbor has a dog, but doesn't use the yard with his dog and exits through a separate entrance. I'm a gardener, so your dog will always be supervised while playing in the yard. We live near trails and a park, so there is plenty of opportunity for enrichment on walks as well. I allow my dog on the sofa, but if this is not a habit you want your dog to pick up, I will follow those instructions. I have past experience giving oral medication, caring for senior dogs, puppies, and dogs in recovery from an injury.
About: I’ve been lucky to share my life with dogs for over 16 years, though I’ve been dog-less for the past few after losing both of mine. Their absence has left a big paw-shaped hole in our hearts, and my family and I are ready to temporarily fill that space by loving and caring for your furry friends. Because we travel often, we haven’t adopted another pet of our own — which actually makes our home perfect for guests who may prefer being the only pet around. Your dog or cat gets our full attention and affection, without having to adjust to unknown animals. These days, I mostly pet sit for friends, but with more space in my schedule (and my heart), I decided to open my home to more four-legged visitors. All three of us, myself and my two gentle, animal-loving kids, have a calm, intuitive approach with animals. Whether your pet is shy, social, or full of energy, we’ll meet them where they’re at — from quiet cuddles to playtime and long walks. I’m also experienced in administering medication and making sure every pet’s specific needs and routines are followed with care. Your furry family member will be treated with patience, kindness, and all the love they deserve just as if they were our own. ❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work from home most days, which means your pet will have consistent companionship and attention throughout the day, no long hours left alone. I build my day around the animals in my care, making sure there’s time for morning cuddles, play sessions, walks, and feeding routines. Because I’m home, I can also keep a close eye on any pets that need medication or extra TLC. I make sure your furry friend gets the right balance of love, structure, and calm energy from morning to bedtime. In my home, pets are treated as part of the family. I work from home most days, which means your furry friend is rarely alone and always supervised. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and comfort zones — creating a calm, consistent environment where they feel secure. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and walks, and my two gentle, animal-loving kids are always respectful of boundaries. Whether it’s medication, quiet time, or extra play, I adjust care to match your pet’s unique needs — safety, trust, and comfort come first.
About: I’m that person who will wind down my window at a red light to say hi to a dog, go out of my way to pet a dog, and talk to a dog like it’s human. I promise to care for your dog as if he or she is my own. I have experience with little dogs, big dogs, and everything in between. I am happy to come to your home to care for your fur baby (or babies). I will be respectful of your space and ensure that any toys, leashes, etc are put back in their rightful place. I am happy to cater to any needs that your dog may have. I work from home Monday through Friday, so my schedule is flexible. I am happy to adjust my schedule to fit the needs of your pet(s). I provide care for your pets in your home based on their daily routines and give them all of my love! I can also walk your fur baby or babies for whatever length of time needed. I love cleaning (I’m weird like that 😂) so I will keep your home clean. I am happy to water plants, bring in mail, etc.
“Anaiah has been an incredible dog walker for our two dogs. She's extremely reliable, visiting them twice a day, two times a week. We’ve heard from our apartment building staff that she is highly professional and a joy to have around. My partner and I have found her to be a very friendly and kind person who takes a sincere interest in our puppy's training. Her dedication is clear in how she ensures our dogs get the perfect mix of playtime, potty breaks, and walks. She truly goes above and beyond for our pets, and we couldn't recommend her more highly.”

About: Hello fellow pet lovers! My sweet girl Sophie passed away this year after 14 loving years together. While I’m not quite ready for a new pup of my own a certainly miss caring for dogs. Maybe I can help you out there! I am a pet parent to all critters under the sun! I have extensive experience with dogs from young pup to seniors with medical needs including all sorts of breeds, large and small. I’m very active and happy to take your high energy pup for long walks (or even runs!) or just cuddle up with your couch potato. I also have extensive personal experience with cats. I have two kittens and have cat sat for friends and neighbors since I was in middle school. No matter how velcro-y or aloof your babies are Id love to keep them happy and healthy. Beyond dogs and cats I have owned (or cared for extensively) birds (cockatiels), reptiles and amphibians (bearded dragons & painted turtles), pocket pets (hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits), freshwater fish, and horses! My wide expanse of knowledge means even if I haven’t cared for your exact critter yet I’m confident I’ll be able to pick up any new information easily and will make sure they are well cared for. No critter will scare me away! PLEASE NOTE: At this time I am not looking for any new regularly repeating weekly drop ins/walks, so if you’re looking for a new daily walker I’m probably not your best choice, however if you need the odd occasional visit, a sitter while you’re out of town, a sub for the week, or something similar I’d be happy to help! I work from home which grants me a lot of flexibility during the morning and day for walks or drop ins. My evenings can get a bit busy but with enough notice I can absolutely work in further care as well. I’ll be sure to adhere strictly to any instructions you give me. I also will be sure to send updates and pet pics every time I visit and you’re welcome to text me at any point for an update. I’m an extremely clean and tidy person and will leave your home better than I found it.

Friends and family often trust me to drop in or watch their pets when they’re away, and I always make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! Whether your pet needs a walk, some company while you’re at work, or overnight care, I’m here to help keep their routine consistent and their tails wagging (or purrs going!).

About: I want to be a professional stay-at-home dog mom, so hire me and help me live my dream! I’ve lived with dogs my entire life, growing up in the countryside--farm adjacent. Last year, life threw me a curveball, so, while I transition out of a career in education, I am living my best life as a full-time dog mom—walking them, taking them to the park, letting them in and out, and giving them all of the cuddles. I’d love to take care of your furry loved ones too. I have two rescues with their own “rags to riches” tales to tell. I have loved watching their personalities emerge from trauma and evolve into their quirky, joyful selves. I am not afraid of hosting or working with dogs with some trauma or some behavior issues/quirks as long as they aren’t violent towards other dogs—my dogs are small. I’ve done a lot of reading and research on dog behavior and trauma responses, and training. Note: I am not a trainer, but I can continue what you are working on and watch many videos on training. I welcome special needs or elderly dogs as well as puppies. I often cared for my dad’s 14-year-old, deaf, 90-pound dog with incontinence. I used an assistive harness to get him up and down stairs. I massaged his hips in the mornings to help with mobility and used vibrational cues like stomping on floors to warn him of things (deafness). I just ask for instructions from the owners. For puppies/potty training— I’ll do my best! Our first floor is all wood and easy to clean. No worries here. Dogs welcome on furniture, and I co-sleep as well (that’s what vacuums, steamers, and washing machines are for.) If you have other rules for your dog, I will follow those for your pet. I have dog beds of many sizes in most rooms in the house. Grooming: I do groom my own animals—bathe, blow dry, furmination, nails, hair cuts. I am not a professional, so I do not feel comfortable doing a fancy cut on another person’s dog, but I could do a sanitary and trim (all one length). I have a sink set up for small dogs and a walk-in shower for medium/big dogs. Exercise: I can walk or slow jog with your dog. I also frequent off-leash dog parks in the Three Rivers Park District, as I have a family pass. Please contact me with questions or if you have a situation that I didn’t specifically mention here that you need help with. I’ll see what I can do! Seriously, help make my dreams of being a stay-at-home dog mom a reality!! Prices and services are negotiable upon contact. Ask for references if needed. I'm fair and flexible. I prefer to keep my own dogs on a fairly strict food/med schedule going out and eating at the same time each morning and evening. This way their evacuations (poop) are also on a much more regular schedule which is helpful when we humans need to be on our way to work and have to kennel them when leaving the house. Even though I’m home during the day, I do make sure to leave and kennel the dogs to practice separation. I also practice socializing with people and other dogs while at the dog park, on walks, and while visiting other people’s homes. I keep certain routines for leaving the house and retiring to the house, and for going into the kennel, etc. Building and keeping these routines helps our animals feel relaxed and stable. It alleviates anxiety and establishes me as their alpha/the person in charge, which they need. When in my home, I maintain the boundaries and rules set for my dogs always. Their behavior is my responsibility as is their health and safety. Dogs in my care with may have expectations and it would be responsibility to follow the owners wishes to the best of my ability while maintaining the safety and stability of the home. If I were in the clients home I would follow their instructions to the best of my abilities always. I prefer check lists and written instructions.
“Heather was great! She was prompt in all her appointments. Our puppy just loved her and everything went smoothly. She was very communicative and she sent pictures of their walk. I highly recommend Heather. We will certainly be working with her again!”
