About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. You can rest easy knowing your pets will be in good hands, and will be given the detailed care and attention they deserve. I'm currently in recovery from a chronic pain condition. This gives me incredible flexibility to take on care at any time, and give your pets the attention they deserve! Depending on my health, my availabily may fluctuate, but now that I'm finally on the upswing I'm ready to be active and my abilites will only increase in the coming months! I am currently not offering care through my own home, but I am happy to provide check ins on many varieties of pets! I adore reptiles and exotic pets, and will happily feed, administer care, and help wear them out by playing inside, in the yard, or walking the nearby area.

About: I have taken care of my friend's cats (as well as my own) for years and am excited to start offering my services on Rover. I'm a proud cat dad to three very spoiled cats. I'd love to spend time with your pets, playing and engaging them while you're out of town. I'm a writer, which offers me tons of flexibility. I can even help you last minute! I am a writer, which means I don't work a "traditional job," so your pet will always be my first priority and primary concern. I am here to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I have three cats at home and know they can be quite curious creatures. If there's something you need me to keep an eye on (making sure they don't bolt, etc.), I'm happy to accommodate their needs to ensure everyone is safe.

About: I have been a foster dog mom for over two years with a rescue group. I own my home and it is a very animal friendly environment. I am a stay at home mom with kids in school, all are respectful and love animals. I am available day and night very flexible schedule for my clients. If your pet likes belly scratch I will belly scratch if he or she likes to play catch I will play catch, whatever your pet enjoys I will happily do. About: For over 5 years, I've been the go-to pet caretaker for many in my community. From energetic puppies to wise senior dogs, I've had the joy of caring for them all. My experience spans walking, feeding, bathing, and even some basic training. Every pet is unique, and I pride myself on recognizing and attending to each one's individual needs. Whether your fur baby needs patience, energy, or a gentle touch, I'm here to provide it. Balancing a remote job gives me the flexibility and opportunity to dedicate substantial time to pet care. About: I've loved animals all my life. I got my first puppy when I was about 13 years old, full of pre-teen enthusiasm for learning all about dog behavior and puppy training strategies. Now that my own beloved dog is no longer with us, I've found myself wishing I had more opportunities to connect with animals on a regular basis. I've taken every chance I could to pet sit for friends and acquaintances over the years, but recently I realized that I could also be using Rover to make pet care a more regular part of my life! Since I'm also meant to share something here that makes me "stand out" as a sitter, I'll say that animals do tend to feel particularly safe and relaxed around me. If I were to take a guess as to why that is, I think I would say that it's probably a combination of: 1) genuinely loving pets and wanting to have a positive interaction with them, 2) not bringing anxious energy into the room, which I think is something that most pets can sense, and 3) knowing enough about animal behavior to not escalate any existing anxieties or aggression. As someone who has had a beloved pet, I know how important it is to find someone to care for your pet that you can trust to accommodate their particular needs, and to create a safe, happy environment for them while you're away. If you'll trust me to be that person, then nothing would make me happier than to give your pet an amazing visit, walk, or staycation! I work full time (8 hours M-F) in Arden Hills, but I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preference for pet care would be to mostly fit it in before and after work (my hours can usually be adjusted based on a pet's daily schedule), but I also have the flexibility to pop out for short walks in the middle of the day, if needed. I can also work from home if absolutely necessary, but I would not wish to do that frequently. I am not able to host pets in my home at this time, but if I can come and care for your pets at their own home, I am happy to follow whatever instructions you give for how to make your pet feel happy and safe and cared for during your absence! I am a careful instruction follower, so I will refer back to any information you can give me about what your pet is accustomed to when you are home, and how you would like me to care for them when you're gone. If you feel nervous at all about leaving them, I'm also more than happy to send regular updates to you about how they are doing!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and absolutely love caring for them! I currently have a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very comfortable with puppies, potty training, walks, playtime, feeding routines, crates, and all of the energy that comes with younger dogs. I also have experience with adult dogs of different sizes and personalities. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pet, and I’ll always treat your dog with the same patience, attention, and love that I give my own.
