About: Hello! I am so excited to meet you. Thank you for taking interest in my page! I am a recent homeowner and would love to be able to share this space with your furry friends. I have extensive experience with kitties, and have owned my 2 pups for just about 2 years now! I also have 2 kitties who we have had since kittens, who are 9 and 6 years old. Our pets are regarded as part of our family, and I am excited to make yours feel at home as well! I gladly offer potty and play breaks in our large fenced in back yard and lots of enrichment activities, from lick pads to puzzle toys. Please reach out if you have any questions! I work from home on Fridays, but otherwise that means that I am out of the house from 8 am to 4:30 pm. I do require a supervised overnight visit before I can allow pets to stay over while I am at work, but are happy to host your pets while I am away for the day, and can work with you to figure out a plan that works with my WFH schedule if you'd like as well! I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly, active pups. My kitties are also super friendly and welcoming, though less interested in playing than the dogs. I have the ability to set up separate areas of our home as well, and regularly allow the dogs outside to play. They have 24/7 access to water and I am able to adjust to any feeding schedule or medication needs!

About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. You can rest easy knowing your pets will be in good hands, and will be given the detailed care and attention they deserve. I'm currently in recovery from a chronic pain condition. This gives me incredible flexibility to take on care at any time, and give your pets the attention they deserve! Depending on my health, my availabily may fluctuate, but now that I'm finally on the upswing I'm ready to be active and my abilites will only increase in the coming months! I am currently not offering care through my own home, but I am happy to provide check ins on many varieties of pets! I adore reptiles and exotic pets, and will happily feed, administer care, and help wear them out by playing inside, in the yard, or walking the nearby area.

I believe that a dog’s comfort comes from consistency and genuine care, which is why I prioritize maintaining your pet's established routines regarding feeding, exercise, and rest. My home is perfectly set up for active and happy dogs. We have a decent-sized, secure yard for quick outdoor play, and we are located in a highly walkable neighborhood with easy access to local parks and trails, perfect for daily sniff-and-stretch walks. What makes my home unique is that your pet will be part of our family. My 4-year-old child is a huge animal lover who enjoys helping with gentle care, like supervised playtime and giving treats. Because my child is so involved, I am very intentional about ensuring that every dog I host is comfortable around children and that interactions are always calm, supervised, and positive. About: I love pets so much! I have two cats, Tommy and Rosie, and they’re the sweetest. I have been a preschool teacher and a house cleaner, so I’m not afraid of cleaning up any messes or accidents that may happen. I’m trustworthy and reliable because of those job experiences; my favorite part of cleaning houses was getting to know people’s pets! I also love creating a connection with pet parents. There may be some things I’m inexperienced in when looking after dogs(giving medication, etc) but if you show me what to do, I’m a fast learner!

About: Hi! My name is Abby, and I would love to be your pet sitter! I’m located in Fridley, and I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet after we’ve chatted and gotten all the details squared away. I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I previously ran a guinea pig foster-based rescue and have also worked at a doggy daycare and a veterinary hospital, where I cared for boarding, grooming, and surgery patients as a kennel assistant. I’ve also worked as a technician assistant and receptionist at North Branch Vet. These experiences have given me not only hands-on animal care experience, but also a strong understanding of how to recognize and respond to individual animals’ needs. I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, hamsters, and many other companion animals. I genuinely enjoy caring for all kinds of pets and love learning about new animals, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a more unique pet! I’m especially comfortable reading canine body language, working with dogs who may be anxious, and adjusting my approach to fit each dog’s personality. I’m happy to care for dogs of all ages, although I know puppies can require a little extra time and attention. Whether your pet simply needs some company, regular potty breaks, and a little TLC, or you’d like someone to keep them active and entertained, I’m happy to accommodate their routine. I love having fun with animals and getting to know their individual personalities. I have plenty of experience with my own pets, including my Australian Shepherd, Winnie; Great Dane, Reuben; Maine Coon, Juneau; and Manx cat, Turkey. I’ve also had plenty of experience caring for guinea pigs through my rescue and previous personal pets. Although cats may be very different from dogs, I have just as much experience and intuition when it comes to caring for them. Having two cats of my own, I understand how much their personalities and needs can vary, and I’m comfortable giving them the patience, space, and attention they need to feel comfortable. If your dog is friendly with other dogs, I’d also love to bring my Great Dane, Reuben, along for overnight bookings. He would be thrilled to have a new friend to play with and keep company! Your booking is priority one, and is always completed before other work is done. If you are requesting house sitting, I’ll be with your pet until I have to leave to briefly care for my own pets. If your dog is well behaved, I would have no problem bringing them along with me when I run around town. If you are requesting drop in visits or dog walking, I will be able to attend your home whenever you book me. I’m available throughout the day, up until 10pm. I will be sure your pet is always in sight when going outside, or always on a leash if you do not have a fenced yard. I will take precautions to make sure your animals do not escape when I am entering or exiting the house by being aware of their presence when opening or shutting doors, or making sure to block their potential exits when I am entering or exiting. I will be sure to secure any cages, kennels or enclosures, along with your residence when I leave for any reason, assuring neither your pet will be safe while alone while also not getting into mischief.

About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
