About: I love pets so much! I have two cats, Tommy and Rosie, and they’re the sweetest. I have been a preschool teacher and a house cleaner, so I’m not afraid of cleaning up any messes or accidents that may happen. I’m trustworthy and reliable because of those job experiences; my favorite part of cleaning houses was getting to know people’s pets! I also love creating a connection with pet parents. If I’m coming into your home, you and your pets become a part of my family. I’m also an actor, so if you ever want to know about shows that are happening, I’m a very good resource! It’s my goal to make sure your pets feel loved and nurtured even when you’re not at home. I create my own schedule, so I can be pretty flexible when I need to be. Mornings are my most available time, so let’s talk! I’ll follow any notes and instructions you give me, and if there’s anything I cannot do, I’ll let you know so we can work on a solution together. There may be some things I’m inexperienced in when looking after dogs(giving medication, etc) but if you show me what to do, I’m a fast learner!

About: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am a huge animal lover and have grown up/cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with mostly Norwegian Elkhounds but had one Carin terrier find his way to my family. Currently I have 1 Norwegian Elkhound named Bear who is about 6 years old and my best friend. My boyfriend and I recently adopted 2 cats from the animal Humane Society named Jack and Lucas. I have been pet sitting since high school and have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbit, fish and hamsters. When I am not with animals I can be found hiking, reading, knitting or playing video games. I am currently making my way through the Nancy Drew series and hoping to finish a scarf by Christmas time. I try to stay active and like taking my dog on long walks especially in the summer. I am currently go to school full time. Which allows me to prioritize caring for my pets and lets me fit a wide ranging of scheduling needs. My pets currently run the home. They have free reign of the entire house and nap, eat and sometimes even potty where ever they like.

About: I grew up with dogs, and miss them dearly in my life! Friends, neighbors and family have relied on me for years to take care of their pets: while away traveling, or in hardships. From closely monitoring my friend's cat after surgery when she couldn't call off work, to weeklong stays in family homes with rambunctious puppies, I've done it all. I've always had a passion for animals, including exotic pet care! I have personally kept a freshwater aquarium and understand that fish and reptile care is much more detailed and intensive than many may first assume. You can rest easy knowing your pets will be in good hands, and will be given the detailed care and attention they deserve. I'm currently in recovery from a chronic pain condition. This gives me incredible flexibility to take on care at any time, and give your pets the attention they deserve! Depending on my health, my availabily may fluctuate, but now that I'm finally on the upswing I'm ready to be active and my abilites will only increase in the coming months! I am currently not offering care through my own home, but I am happy to provide check ins on many varieties of pets! I adore reptiles and exotic pets, and will happily feed, administer care, and help wear them out by playing inside, in the yard, or walking the nearby area.

About: I have many years of loving dogs. I am extremely patient. I believe every dog is unique and they all have a story to tell. I am retired and able to give 24/7 care. I was a licensed CNA for years. I walk every day. I am an advid reader. I also work puzzles and knit. I like my gardens also.i can sit inside or out with your dog. I am very responsible. Although I have a fenced yard I would never leave your precious pet alone. I have nothing in the reach of your fur baby that could cause harm to any animal.

About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. Once the school year starts, our calendar reflects our weekend and school break availability! We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)

About: Hi! My name is Abby and I would love to be your pet sitter! I’d love to meet you and your pet after we chat and get some details squared away. I am located in Fridley! I have experience working with a range of animals by running a Guinea pig foster-based rescue, experience at a doggy daycare, a veterinary hospital as a kennel assistant- caring for boarding, grooming, and surgery pets. I have experience as a technician assistant/receptionist at North Branch Vet. This not only involves working with clients, but understanding patients needs. I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens, hamsters, and lots of other companion animals. I genuinely enjoy caring for any type of pet, and I love learning new things, so don’t be afraid to ask me to care for a unique type of pet! I am good at reading challenging dogs’ language, and I am also good with dogs that get anxious easily. I can care for dogs ranging in age, although puppy care does require a bit of extra effort. I am more than happy to do activity as simple as give your pet company while they relax with potty breaks. I also love to do activities and have fun with animals, like my own Australian Shepard, Winnie, Great Dane, Reuben, my maine coon, Juneau, Manx, named “Turkey” and my multiple guinea pigs. Although cats are a much different species than dogs, I have just as much intuition and experience caring for them as well. Having two of my own, I know how much their personalities can range, and I am accustomed to being flexible with their personal needs. If your dog is friendly to other dogs, I would love to bring my own Great Dane along to overnight bookings to play and be friends with your dog! I’m excited to get to know you and your pet, please request me anytime! Your booking is priority one, and is always completed before other work is done. If you are requesting house sitting, I’ll be with your pet until I have to leave to briefly care for my own pets. If your dog is well behaved, I would have no problem bringing them along with me when I run around town. If you are requesting drop in visits or dog walking, I will be able to attend your home whenever you book me. I’m available throughout the day, up until 10pm. I will be sure your pet is always in sight when going outside, or always on a leash if you do not have a fenced yard. I will take precautions to make sure your animals do not escape when I am entering or exiting the house by being aware of their presence when opening or shutting doors, or making sure to block their potential exits when I am entering or exiting. I will be sure to secure any cages, kennels or enclosures, along with your residence when I leave for any reason, assuring neither your pet will be safe while alone while also not getting into mischief.

About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Note: you will typically see delayed responses past 9PM but will get back to you as soon as I see your messages. Thanks! Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.
