I couldn't answer because I was driving, so she left a detailed message and also sent me a text message. She sent me pictures and stayed with my dog until she calmed down. She also promptly contacted Rover to document the incident. The next day she texted to check how my dog was doing. I really appreciate how she handled the situation. I've already booked another walk with Kendall. She's great with my dog, flexible, responsive, and reliable. I highly recommend her!”

About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. All this to say, we can't imagine a world without these furry little companions! With many attentive people in our household, your dog will never have needs unmet. Whether it be snuggles, toys, pets, walks, playtimes, food... be assured we can handle it! We can't wait to meet your dog! We both work in education, so our summers are very open & flexible and offer so many opportunities for dog walks, dog parks, pet cuddles, etc. Once the school year starts, our calendar reflects our weekend and school break availability! We have a fenced back yard and get on many outings with our own high energy dog. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)

About: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am a huge animal lover and have grown up/cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with mostly Norwegian Elkhounds but had one Carin terrier find his way to my family. Currently I have 1 Norwegian Elkhound named Bear who is about 6 years old and my best friend. My boyfriend and I recently adopted 2 cats from the animal Humane Society named Jack and Lucas. I have been pet sitting since high school and have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbit, fish and hamsters. When I am not with animals I can be found hiking, reading, knitting or playing video games. I am currently making my way through the Nancy Drew series and hoping to finish a scarf by Christmas time. I try to stay active and like taking my dog on long walks especially in the summer. I am currently go to school full time. Which allows me to prioritize caring for my pets and lets me fit a wide ranging of scheduling needs. My pets currently run the home. They have free reign of the entire house and nap, eat and sometimes even potty where ever they like.

I am patient and dependable, and will always treat your pet with the same attention and love I would want for my own! I am available weekdays and weekends and have flexible hours so I can accommodate if needed, but preferably mornings or afternoons and evenings work best! About: Hi I’ve had dogs of all sizes and medical conditions for my entire life. We are able to manage medications and special needs with great care. I have also been a volunteer at a pet rescue and do home checks to ensure safety for new owners. I am a nurse and I work full time with only ends up being 2-3 days a week so most of the time I am home with our toddler. We recently lost our old lady dog so our house is fully accommodating and accessible dogs of all sizes and mobility. We live in a townhouse so we do not have a lot of yard space but we have community areas and a great walking path and route for walks! We also have a toddler so our house is baby proofed and we monitor heavily for anything that may be a safety issue, this directly translates for our four-legged company!

About: I love being around dogs and treat them as family, as they should be! I currently have 3 fur babies, two back labs who are brother and sister and a pitbull. They are my world and I will treat your dogs as such as well. Every dog deserves love and cuddles! I've worked with puppies through senior dogs and understand that every pup has its own personality and needs. I have experience giving medication as my girl receives daily meds for her Addisons. I love being active with dogs whether that's playing catch in the backyard, tug-o-war or going on long walks. I can't wait to meet your dog! I currently work from home so if I'm staying at your place of residence for an extended stay your family member will receive all the attention needed during the days. I have experience crating dogs if needed while I stay at your home. Because I work remotely I'll be able to play with and walk your pet throughout the day.

About: Update: 1. We just bought a kiddie pool for dogs! If your pet gets over heated in the summer and enjoys water time, they can enjoy the dog pool in our backyard. (: We have a massive fenced in backyard for dogs and playtime for cats will be indoors. For dogs, we're happy to give them 4 walks a day and lots of playtime and fetch in the fenced-in backyard. For cats- we have a huge bay window overlooking a bird feeder so cats can soak in the sun and spend their time watching the birdies. We do not put any fur babies in crates unless you specifically ask us to (we do not own crates so you will have to provide one). This is not our full time job nor income, we're doing this because we LOVE animals so at our home, your pet will feel like its their vacation time! They'll have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run around and be happy and comfortable! We also do not accept more than 1 booking at a time. 2 dogs from the same family are welcome but we don't accept multiple bookings from different households at the same time. We do not want our home to feel crowded and we do not want the dogs and cats to feel overwhelmed so you can always be assured that our house will feel like a mini stress free vacation for your pets! (: We will need you to provide everything your pet will need for their stay including food bowl, water bowl, toys/treats, food and most importantly- medications if needed. For Doggy day care: if we are doing doggy day care, we will only be taking one dog at a time, or 2 dogs from the same family. We want to ensure that the pet has a fun time while away from their fav human for a few hours, and simultaneously we want to have stress free work days (: Thank you! (: We work from home full time so we are available for walks, and playtime in the fenced-in backyard. We also love dogs and cats so they're welcome to join us in our bed for all naps! We have two cats of our own but they will have no interaction with your dog/cat; when we are sitting your pets our cats will be in the basement (which is their fav place in the house anyway). If you're reaching out to us about cat sitting, please also ensure that you're willing to provide litter.
