About: Hello! I am an animal lover at heart and have an extra special place in my heart for dogs! I have experience caring for dogs since I was little girl. I know how nerve wrecking it can be to leave your pet while you're away and I will strive to provide great care for your dog in order to make sure all their needs are met and beyond. I can provide pupdates and pictures as often as you'd like to reassure your dog is in good hands! I have a fenced in yard to allow your dog exercise. I am dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment during their stay! I work from home during the day which allows me the flexibility to provide more frequent potty and play breaks for you pup! I can ensure your pup has more attention when needed. There are several walking paths near me to take dogs for walks/potty breaks. I have a fully fenced backyard for play time and exercise. I treat dogs I am caring for as my own.

About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. I work from home most days in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, with 1–2 days a week in the office. On home days I'm available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and check-ins. On office days, your pup will still get a solid morning and evening routine, and plenty of company once I'm back. There's no private yard, but there's a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience caring for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I've been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home a lot and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! One or two days a week, I have to be at the office; I'll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled before I go. On Saturdays, I'm less flexible for check-in and check-out, since I'm away in the morning for volunteer work. I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).
