“Lindsey and her family were so great! They took care of my 5 month old puppy for the day and treated her so well. Gave her lots of play time and walks and sent many updates with pictures. 10/10 would recommend them to take care of your pup!”

“Cleo had a great time with Timmothy!! I loved his updates through the day and he asked many questions beforehand to make sure he understood how to care for her :)”

“Cassandra is awesome! My little guy really enjoys going to her house and hanging out with little Lulu and Tinkerbell! They are all so cute! It's awesome they have a backyard the furry kiddos can enjoy and Cassandra gives him so much love! Thank you for all the wonderful updates and awesomeness Cassandra and family! See you soon!”

About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).
About: Hi! I’m Noah and I have 15 years of experience with all sorts of dogs. I grew up with dogs of all sizes, from Great Danes to miniature dachshunds. My favorite part of being around dogs is playing with them, seeing their happy faces, and getting to experience nature with them. While I’ve never had a cat to call my own, I have played with and taken care of many cats over the years! I am currently a dog dad to a three-year old energetic dachshund and a German Shepherd mix puppy! I can’t wait to meet your pets! I work from home and am generally available after 4:30pm or before 7:30am, but I can be flexible! I live in an area with access to convenient walking trails and parks. Your pet’s safety, security, and health are my top priorities. I understand the trust you're placing in me to care for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously.
“Pamela was great! She welcomed a meeting before dog sitting, and asked care questions. Arlington played well with my dog, and they have a great fenced in backyard for running around!”

About: I have CPR training, years of caretaking and medication administration experience, and a lifetime of loving on pets of all ages and sizes. Informal pet sitting has also been a part of my routine for many years. I have lots of free time this summer, and have many pockets of availability throughout the school year beginning in September, so I am happy to set up longer term relationships. I have a completely fenced yard, one friendly cat at home, and only a few steps for older dogs to handle. I am happy to follow any crazy routine you and your pet have!
“Abby was great with my pup, Belle! She made sure Belle got 2 long walks during the day and sent lots of pictures. She communicated quickly to all my questions and texts. Looking forward to booking her again! Thanks Abby!!”

“Big thank you to Nathan and family for taking Lincoln today. So happy to hear how comfortable he became today. He's a bit of a handful as you know, so thank you for all you do to make him feel anxiety free.”

About: I've cared for a variety of pet animals over the years, and currently own two cats of my own who I raised from kittenhood, one who was even prematurely removed from his mother. I'm currently doing mostly online schooling so with proper notice I can work with any type of sitting needs, no matter how odd the job. I'm able to board pets of any type, as I have more than enough space to seperate or integrate as your individual pet requires for a comfortable stay! I also have the flexibility to be within your home for any amount of time your pet needs.
“This is my second time booking with Kira and Alejandro, and it was equally as good as the first time! I’m so grateful for them being able to accommodate another last minute booking from me and a horribly early AM drop off time. Atlas felt comfortable enough to snooze the rest of the morning there which says a lot because he can be a somewhat high anxiety dog. I’m so grateful for Kira and Alejandro’s excellent care!”

About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! Britt grew up with lots of dogs (and cats), and the whole family has experience caring for animals at all ages. Both Britt and Mike work from home full time, and are able to care for pets throughout the day and night. Our three children are in school and preschool in the neighborhood during the week, giving us several opportunities to go on daily walks. We have a large, fenced in backyard for dogs and our children to share. We do not require dogs to be crated at night or when we are away for short amounts of time. We do have a medium crate if their normal routine includes crating during short times alone at home. Our children are used to being around animals and know how to be gentle and respectful of space.
“She was absolutely amazing! I'm a rover sitter myself and have been for years and even though she is newer to the game she's doing absolutely everything right! My dog is very sleepy and happy, I will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her”

About: I've had pets for most of my life, and love all animals. We had a miniature schnauzer growing up, then in college I adopted my late cat, Boots. I recently had to say goodbye to my 12.5 year old GSD mix, Gabby. Gabby was my soul dog, and I cared for her like she was my child. Both Boots and Gabby had different health issues in their later years, so I have experience administering meds, giving feline subcutaneous fluids and have used canine mobility aids (help em up harness and wheelchair). I absolutely love watching my friends and families pets and am proud to be my friends' top choice for pet sitting while they are gone or busy. Safety is my top priority along with making sure they get the attention and exercise they need everyday. Now that I don't have any pets of my own, it would bring me great joy to help you with yours. I hope to meet you and your fur baby soon! I am currently open at any time during the week and weekends as I freelance and work from home. I prefer daytime hours from 7am to 9pm, unless I am boarding your pet at my home. I'm a highly responsible and reliable person. I take pride in the way I care for animals, and have safety and comfort at top of mind. If I board your pets, I have a fenced-in back yard and a dog friendly yard/garden. If I come to your home to walk or watch your pet, security will also be top priority.
About: I’ve taken care of many different pets my whole life, I grew up with many different pets in my family. I currently have a well trained pet of my own, my friends and family come to me when they are in need of a sitter. I’m currently a part time college student, so I only go to class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, with my remaining time out of school, I have plenty of time to play and hangout with pets! I do not have a fully fenced yard but I do have a gated area on the side of my house. The gated area is big enough for dogs to run and play! I also have a small dog of my own to keep other dogs entertained!

Josie had so much fun with Ashley! Ashley took her on a long walk and did a great job managing Josie’s anxiety around other dogs. She sent me lots of pictures and updates which was so reassuring as this was our first time using Rover! We will definitely be booking her again! Thanks Ashley!

Rochelle took such great care of Ramsay! I was gone for 6 days and didn't worry about him at all- she updated me every day with pictures, videos and stories. He had a great time playing with her dog in their backyard and going on walks. I'm very grateful, Rochelle! Highly recommend.

Anna was wonderful. She looked after our Vizsla for a day whilst we attended a wedding in Minneapolis. As out of towners, she really helped us out by occupying Red and entertaining him for the day! Thank you so much Anna! Red seemed very content when we picked him up and it looks like he had a lot of fun with you!

Grace!! What is there not to say, she was such a wonderful dog sitter. My dogs had a blast with her! We had an emergency at the time of pickup which resulted in an additional delay of pickup & she was super understanding. If we’re back in the city again I will be using grace again via rover Thanks so much again Grace! ❤️
