“This was our first time using Roover, and Rachel made the experience smooth and stress free. Our dog had a great day with her, and Rachel sent lots of updates and pictures!”

About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. We had 2 dogs and 2 cats when I was growing up. I've been walking dogs since I was little. And I know all the dogs in my neighborhood on a first name basis. I work from home and generally have plenty of time throughout the day for walks and cuddles. My husband also loves helping out and playing with them. I have a big backyard that's mostly fenced in (each of my surrounding neighbors have fences). There's plenty of room throughout my entire house for your little baby to make themselves at home
“My doggy had an excellent time here. He came home exhausted and happy. I got a wonderful picture during my few hours away and a great review when I picked him up. Will definitely be using Nathan again. Thank you so much!”

“I appreciate the video and pictures of GiGi playing in your fenced yard with the other dog. I appreciate that you would live to take care of her again! You have a dog friendly house with blankets on the couch and are great in accommodating for eating and drinking schedule & introducing her to other dogs in your care. Thanks.”

“This is is the first time I’ve left my dog with a Rover for day care. Kira does a great job with sending pics so you know your dog is doing great. When I picked my girl up she even walked back to Kira as though she wanted to stay haha. I’ll definitely use Kira again.”

“Dave is very caring and will love your pet! He has a great back yard with a very tall fence. I have appreciated Doggy Day Care and boarding with Dave. I will be sure to book with him again!”

“Lindsey and her family were so great! They took care of my 5 month old puppy for the day and treated her so well. Gave her lots of play time and walks and sent many updates with pictures. 10/10 would recommend them to take care of your pup!”

“Pamela was great! She welcomed a meeting before dog sitting, and asked care questions. Arlington played well with my dog, and they have a great fenced in backyard for running around!”

About: As a dog owner and foster/rescue volunteer, I've worked with all kinds of dogs, from playful puppies to dogs with special needs, including senior pups which have a soft spot in my heart. i work office ours during week days, after 4 pm i focus on giving my dogs the activity they need, and i dedicate the weekends fully to my furry friends. I have a fenced park in my building with games for dogs, I can crate your dog if wanted or needed, and I have plenty of toys and green areas close by to make sure the pups have fun! I have a pup myself very friendly that will be happy to be and have some company
About: I have been a puggle owner, taking care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I’m very experienced with small dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I’m looking forward to puppy kisses from time to time and sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a calm, reliable place to stay. I work from home fulltime in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, which means I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for quick outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggie stairs for easy access to furniture, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. I keep things lowkey by limiting stays to 1-2 compatible dogs at a time, so your pup gets plenty of one-on-one attention in a peaceful environment. (If you have more than two dogs that have lived together in the same household and need an exception for a longer stay, feel free to message me to discuss, I’m open to considering well-matched groups on a case-by-case basis.) If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and knows small breeds well (especially seniors), let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way). No fenced private yard, but plenty of shared green yards just downstairs for quick potty breaks or outdoor time.
“Karen and Ryan have been the best sitters for my puppy. He’s always so happy to go to their house. They’ve been feeding him and helping with a medical need during the day and are flexible when I’m running late from work. Would recommend them to friends and family!”

“Ari & Nihita were great hosts! Olive seemed to enjoy his time and was tired when I picked him up. They ensured he stayed clean after his grooming that he had earlier that day before I dropped him off. Also flexible with the pick up and drop off times which is appreciated.”

“A+. Gold Stars. Amazing! Leslie was a perfect fit for watching our dog. We were fairly new to Rover and Leslie helped calm our nerves by arranging a meet and greet, sharing photos during the stay, and keeping our dog entertained - she was so tired when we brought her home. If you're new to Rover or a super protective dog mom (like me), I highly recommend contacting and booking with Leslie. I cannot highlight enough the positive experience we had with her.”

“Kaitlin was great for daycare with our Bea. Great communication, flexible, and patient with our super high energy pup! Will book with her again in the future!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been a natural part of my world. I truly love the companionship, loyalty, and joy that dogs bring. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own yet, I really miss having one around — which is why I love helping care for other people’s pets. It’s meaningful to be able to give dogs the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. I’m comfortable with different personalities and needs, and every dog I look after is treated like they’re my own. I currently work during the day (from home) but I have a pretty flexible schedule. I am available after 10 AM on the weekdays and I have weekend availability as well. I care for every pet as if they were my own, with a big focus on safety, trust, and keeping their routine consistent. Whether I’m in my home or a client’s home, I take the time to understand each dog’s needs, habits, and any special instructions so they feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I make sure doors and gates are always secure, keep leashes and harnesses properly fitted, and never let dogs off-leash unless it’s in a fully fenced, approved area. I also keep food, trash, and anything potentially harmful well out of reach. I prioritize calm, positive interactions and use gentle, consistent handling to build trust. I keep owners updated with messages and photos so they always know how their pet is doing. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, cared for, and relaxed while their family is away.
“Abby was great with my pup, Belle! She made sure Belle got 2 long walks during the day and sent lots of pictures. She communicated quickly to all my questions and texts. Looking forward to booking her again! Thanks Abby!!”

About: I’ve taken care of many different pets my whole life, I grew up with many different pets in my family. I currently have a well trained pet of my own, my friends and family come to me when they are in need of a sitter. I’m currently a part time college student, so I only go to class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, with my remaining time out of school, I have plenty of time to play and hangout with pets! I do not have a fully fenced yard but I do have a gated area on the side of my house. The gated area is big enough for dogs to run and play! I also have a small dog of my own to keep other dogs entertained!

Grace!! What is there not to say, she was such a wonderful dog sitter. My dogs had a blast with her! We had an emergency at the time of pickup which resulted in an additional delay of pickup & she was super understanding. If we’re back in the city again I will be using grace again via rover Thanks so much again Grace! ❤️

Luke and Leia are fantastic!!! I can tell Millie had a great time with them. Luke was very communicative and even sent me a video/update before I finished my commute to work :) He also took Millie for a walk! I feel like everything was above and beyond and he cared for my dog like she was his own. Would definitely recommend Luke to everyone!

Caleigh is wonderful! My husband and I were looking for someone to watch our dog last minute. Caleigh responded right away and said she was available. She took great care of our puppy. He loved his time with her. She even updated us and sent us pictures. We will definitely book her again! Thanks Caleigh!!
