About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.

“Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. About: I've had family pets since I was a little girl which adds over 15 years of experience to my repertoire. I have cared for friends and family dogs through walks, baths, and everything in between. Most recently, my roommate and friend got a puppy who is now a full grown doggo! I have taken care of him alongside her, so know how to handle puppies as well. He is like my own dog! I work from home, and am available all day and can always find time after work and on weekends, as long as I have free time and am around on weekends. I have a great work-life balance to fit in dog-sitting and care. Feel free to ask me questions! I live in a spacious apartment in South Minneapolis, with lots of walkability near-by. There is one dog in our apartment, Arlo, who is the sweetest and easiest yellow lab. I currently house-sit regularly for one family and have lots of experience with a variety of animals, such as dogs, cats, chickens, and fish. I can also crate your dog with provided crate. I will listen to your needs and goals to make you and your dog comfy and happy!
“Cleo had a great time with Timmothy!! I loved his updates through the day and he asked many questions beforehand to make sure he understood how to care for her :)”

“Jen is an A+ dog sitter with clear knowledge of canine behavior and psychology..This, in addition to creating an enjoyable and interactive play experience for the pups she hosts on a regular basis. She knows how to group together dogs with similar play patterns and personality traits. She considers size and vulnerabilities. I trust her wholeheartedly to watch my beloved best friend! She really saved us when I was struggling with my new adoptee! I now have a well adjusted happy girl after socializing her a couple times a week in Jen’s care! She’s the best!”

Skylar looked so happy and was perfectly tired from the exercise. Highly recommend Lauren and will definitely book again!”

“Alex has been absolutely wonderful! He has been very patient with Finn and allowed him to take his time warming up to him. Alex sends me daily photos which I really appreciate, and has offered to spend more time with Finn outside after noticing that Finn was enjoying it. I plan on continuing to use Alex’s services and highly suggest him!”

“Darwin is incredibly reliable, and they work very well with our pup Sage. We have been able to rest easy during the work day (and check our pet camera less!), because we know Sage is in good hands with Darwin. They have even taken some time during our booking to reinforce training with Sage!”

“We are so grateful for Emilie. She is caring and detail oriented—the ideal person to look after our senior dog. Having her help has been a big relief when we need someone to stop in and take care of Lela.”

“Haidyn is great with my pets! She provides ample exercise, love, and attention while also being very timely in communication. Haidyn has also done great with meeting the needs of my puppy, who isn't fully trained. There are things I'm trying to work on with the pup, and Haidyn does well in being consistent with my training.”

“Jenna does a wonderful job with my greyhound Roo! She is attentive to her needs and reports concerns whenever she has them. She even has Roo trying to take me on her longer walking routes! I'm thrilled to have her support in caring for my sweet pup.”

My service dog is Brutus, he is a 7 year old german shepherd. I have had him his entire life, I started training him when he was 4 months old. We started specialized service training when he was 1 years old. We worked with trainers together for 3 years and I have handler trained him for 2 years. I live near a large dog park and several walking trails. I will follow your cats care routine and schedule. I am home most of the day and can provide around the clock care and attention. I have toys, scratching boards, and a supply of litter/food for cats. I do not currently own a cat but have owned many throughout my life.
“Autumn helped us out on very short notice and was great with our pup! Thoughtful questions, great communication, and sent us a few pictures with an update each day. Would highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole life, from kittens to seniors, and since I was 12 I’ve watched my friends and neighbors dogs as well. I’ve given both cats and dogs medication as well as bottle fed them if they were too young for solid food. I have an incredibly flexible hybrid work schedule! Whatever you or your pets needs, I will be able to meet them without any work conflicts. You know your pet better than anyone. Whatever instructions you give me to keep them safe, happy, and healthy, I promise to follow exactly. I love animals and my schedule is very flexible, so whenever your needs are, I will do my absolute best to meet them!
About: I've had 22 years of experience living with and loving black labs in south Minneapolis. I can accommodate dogs of any age. I love to be outdoors and enjoy walking. My work week is full; however, I am fully available on the weekends to dote on your pup. I am a teacher. From mid-August to mid-June my weeks are full. My weekends are open. I'm available over holidays. I am also available throughout the summer. I have a small home with a fenced-in yard and a park within blocks. For the past twelve years, I had a dog, and we walked every day. I greatly miss my companion and would love to shower your dog with lots of love and care.
About: Hi, I'm Caitlin! Being a pet parent is special, and I genuinely understand what it means to trust someone with your pet. I lost my 15-year-old dog last year, and that kind of loss changes how you see pet care, and it's exactly why I take this seriously. Every animal in my home gets real attention, a consistent routine, and the kind of care I'd want for my own. My home is a calm, adults-only environment with a fully fenced yard to ensure safe outdoor time, and my neighborhood is a quiet tucked away pocket near Cedar Lake. While I try to board pets only from the same home, there can at times be exceptions (mostly holidays). While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I only confirm stays I can genuinely support. I build the routine around the pet to the best of my ability. I'll ask you what your animal's schedule looks like at home and do my best to mirror it. I know consistency matters! I treat communication as part of the service. You won't wonder how your pet is doing. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. I'll ask you in advance about their routine (feeding schedule, walk preferences, any quirks or triggers) and I follow it to the best of my ability. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I typically do not take overlapping bookings unless the pets are from the same household, but there are sometimes exceptions. At your home: I follow whatever directions you leave. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. For cats especially, in-home sitting is often the lower-stress option, and after a year of fostering, I know how to read a cat who's fine versus one who isn't.
“Charlie loves walking with Tracy. She has a calming and positive nature that helps with his high energy. He watches out the window for her. I really appreciate it, along with her flexibility with my schedule.”

About: I thought we were a little crazy adopting a dog at the ripe age of 22, but it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. My partner (Connor Lee) and I have had Odie for almost three years now, and we love how he has transformed our life. Our dog is our world, and you can rest assured that we will take care of your pet like our own. My partner and I take care of our dog together on a continuous basis. Your pet would be given all of the love, time, and attention that our pet receives. We will select dates available for booking on days where one or both of us will be home at least 80% of the day. We have a fenced in yard and one fur baby. Odie gets along with most dogs. In the event the chemistry isn't there, we can have the dogs separated via a sliding door situated in the middle of our home. If they do get along well, they will simply hang out with one or both of us while we work, and get regular pee breaks and play sessions in the back yard. It's possible one of us would have to leave before the other got home (A time period that would never exceed 2 hours), and for that reason we would prefer you bring their kennel. If you're confident in their ability to sit peacefully for that amount of time, that would also be okay.

“Jessie was great! She watched my two dogs Violet and Kala and they had a great time and got lots of snuggles. She gave me updates and pictures everyday which really helped put me at ease while I was away.”

“Mckenzie took great care of our dogs and let them play with the other dogs after getting introduced. We got a good amount of updates and lots of cute photos!”

“Catherine was excellent with our dog Misiu! She was incredibly attentive, and sent lots of photos and videos throughout our vacation. She allowed him to snuggle with her in bed, which he’s used to. That was very much appreciated. We will definitely rebook with Catherine. Misiu was a happy boy the entire time, we weren’t missed 😆”

“Molly is the best! For the first time I left my small shy dog with her for five days and four nights. He did very well! She was very flexible and adapting to his schedule and needs. And thanks to her nice lab, Eddie, for making my Ziggy feel at home.”

“Gigi took excellent care of my dog, Charlie, for an extended stay. He got time outside and lots of love and care in a new situation. We got updates, pictures and videos to keep us updated.”

“Our dog, Gus, has stayed with Doc now on two occasions, one shorter stay and one 10 day stint. Both were phenomenal! We enjoyed getting the picture updates on Gus each day, and were able to enjoy our vacation much more knowing he was well taken care of.”

“5 stars for Jessica and her husband! They took such great care of my dog, Frankie. She was very communicative and provided lots of updates and pictures. Jessica was even sweet enough to come to pick Frankie up to save me time as I got ready for my trip. Frankie got plenty of walks and snuggles and was in great hands while I was away. We will definitely be using them again for future care!”

“Ashlie and her family were wonderful hosts to our dog Virgie! She sent texts and photos throughout the week to let us know how she was doing. I definitely recommend Ashlie and will book her again in the future!”
“Brenda and her family were great hosts! Really nice to work with with two super sweet and well-behaved dogs of their own. My dog has become little shy recently around other dogs but I felt like she was in great hands while I was gone.”

“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“Rikki and Daniel (and kids) took great care of my dog. She got lots of walks and playtime and snuggles, and I got lots of photos while I was away! I would recommend!”

“I don’t truly think I could have left my pup, Coti, with a better person. I had to urgently run home for a few weeks to help my family and she was so accommodating, responded quickly, and sent me daily updates. Coti experienced some extra issues during his stay (probably because he’s just anxious in his nature) and Celia took such good care of him, picking up and cooking him chicken and rice so he would feel better and keeping me in the loop. I am very grateful for the peace of mind she gave me and I know Coti loved his stay. Thank you Celia!”

“Alyson was so great! It was my first time using rover and did a five day stay for my large dog who takes medicine regularly. She immediately put me at ease and answered all of my questions. She has a great yard space for the dogs to go out, and had space inside for my large crate. She sent me an update on how my dog was settling in and doing, and I was able to relax on my vacation.”

“Journey loved her stay with Lynnea! Lynnea kept with Journeys routine and she felt very comfortable staying with Lynnea for the weekend. Would definitely have Journey stay again!”

“Hannah is amazing! We've left our girl with her twice now, and she took really good care of her and adapted to her needs for 100%! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back ❤️”

“Erin was an amazing pet sitter for our two dogs and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and cared for while we were gone. Our dogs LOVED running around in her big backyard, and getting to make themselves at home on her furniture. Erin's two dogs also got along really well with our dogs. We appreciated getting pictures and videos every day to let us know our girls were doing well. We would definitely use Erin again to watch our doggies!”
