The dogs played and ran together in the fenced in yard. Our pug came home happy and ready to nap. Each day, I received a couple of photos with a brief update which I appreciated. This was a short-notice booking, and I am so grateful that Brenda was available. We will definitely arrange dog-sitting with Brenda in the future.”

We are so grateful for Holly in our lives and would highly recommend her.”

Two thumbs (and four paws) up!”

“Our pup had a great time with this host! Timmothy was super flexible on drop off and pick up times and over all he made our last minute request feel stress free. I would definitely recommend Timmothy!”

“Absolutely terrific service. She made little videos after each visit that showed her time with my kitties. It was such a joy. First language is no English, but that does not have any impact on the amazing service, so please consider Sumak! I know I will be requesting in the future.”

“I had to be out of town unexpectedly and needed someone to watch my cats last minute - Maddy was the perfect choice and I’m so thankful to her for taking care of my boys! They were clearly so happy and comfortable with Maddy, I was able to be away and have peace of mind knowing they were well taken care of. “Jackson is a lifesaver with our dogs! We have a 10 mo. aus-shepherd mix with aggression and fear issues (wont allow strangers to come near us, or into the house or backyard). After a few visits with Jackson our dog is now so happy to see him each time! Jackson is one of the very few people our dog allows into our home, as well as to hang out and play with him and leash him for walks (if anyone has dealt with an aggressive dog they know the struggles, so to find someone we can count on for our pup is priceless). I would wholeheartedly recommend Jackson!”

About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
“June is always super excited to be dropped off to play with Mckenzie and her dogs! Mckenzie has been wonderful with our 5 month old pup and its been so reassuring to leave June with someone who we know loves dogs as much as we do and also has the skills and knowledge on managing different ages and varying dog’s behaviors! She is very communicative and prompt with her replies and she has always been loving and patient with our dog!”

We had a nice meet and greet where Jessie asked a lot of good question trying to make sure that she understood the needs of our dog. The drop off and pick up were smooth. We also received a super summary of Koda's day and photos. Top notch service. My family would highly recommend booking your dog with Jessie.”

“Lydia does an amazing job caring for our puppy! We started bringing Riley to Lydia when she was about 10 weeks old for the couple of days a week we needed to work outside of the house. Riley always came home happy and worn out. She got plenty of fun, playtime, and naps throughout the day and Lydia sends lots of pictures so you can see how your pup is doing!”

“We sent our high-energy dog to Toni for a full 12 hours and she was so easy to communicate with and super flexible with scheduling. The peace of mind to know that she was cared for and got a walk in during the day was wonderful. Highly recommend Toni for any doggy daycare needs!”

“Cleo had a great time with Timmothy!! I loved his updates through the day and he asked many questions beforehand to make sure he understood how to care for her :)”

“Best sitters ever! Couldn’t recommend Karen and Ryan enough. Lambo absolutely LOVES when he goes over to their house and gets the wiggles every time he see them. Just proves how much they care for your dog like their own. They’re very flexible with my schedule and I can’t appreciate that enough.”

“Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

“This is is the first time I’ve left my dog with a Rover for day care. Kira does a great job with sending pics so you know your dog is doing great. When I picked my girl up she even walked back to Kira as though she wanted to stay haha. I’ll definitely use Kira again.”

Rosie has a hard time getting used to men and Paul is very patient and sweet with her. I can tell it’s a good day when she comes home exhausted from playing! thank you both very much!”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. “Jackson was great with Diesel! He accommodated his unique senior dog routine, and kept me informed. I’m very happy with this experience and will definitely request Jackson’s services again.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole life, from kittens to seniors, and since I was 12 I’ve watched my friends and neighbors dogs as well. I’ve given both cats and dogs medication as well as bottle fed them if they were too young for solid food. I have an incredibly flexible hybrid work schedule! Whatever you or your pets needs, I will be able to meet them without any work conflicts. You know your pet better than anyone. Whatever instructions you give me to keep them safe, happy, and healthy, I promise to follow exactly. I love animals and my schedule is very flexible, so whenever your needs are, I will do my absolute best to meet them!
“Alex has been absolutely wonderful! He has been very patient with Finn and allowed him to take his time warming up to him. Alex sends me daily photos which I really appreciate, and has offered to spend more time with Finn outside after noticing that Finn was enjoying it. I plan on continuing to use Alex’s services and highly suggest him!”

“Autumn helped us out on very short notice and was great with our pup! Thoughtful questions, great communication, and sent us a few pictures with an update each day. Would highly recommend!”

About: Growing up in Colorado, I am no stranger to all types of wildlife and a variety of pets. I have spent many summers on a farm and believe it or not cows are like overgrown lovable doggies. I have vast experience with sick and abused animals and with an open heart and gentle touch I'm able to build trust and confidence in almost any pet. I'm physically active but also enjoy a nice snuggle on the couch. So if you have an athlete, couch potato or anything in between, I'm your man. I'm easy to get along with and have wonderful communication skills. I volunteer for several soup kitchens and food pantries. My life is to be of service to all living creatures through patienceand kindness. Call me with questions or concerns anytime. I look forward to bringing joy and safety to your home. Taking care of pets is a passion of mine. I love all life forms. I have a wonderful little girl that loves guests to play with. It's an everyday thing for us. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep yours company. We take long walks and trips to the park often. Snuggles on the couch are typical in this house. Meal time is the same time everyday and when we have guests we always separate the kids during meal time. Just to be safe.
“Haidyn is great with my pets! She provides ample exercise, love, and attention while also being very timely in communication. Haidyn has also done great with meeting the needs of my puppy, who isn't fully trained. There are things I'm trying to work on with the pup, and Haidyn does well in being consistent with my training.”

About: **I do not offer boarding services for dogs** I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and am a huge animal lover. I have been a service dog handler for 6 years. My service dog is Brutus, he is a 7 year old german shepherd. I have had him his entire life, I started training him when he was 4 months old. We started specialized service training when he was 1 years old. We worked with trainers together for 3 years and I have handler trained him for 2 years. I have helped my friends and family train their dogs for 3 years. My dog does amazing with cats and dogs! I have owned and cared for many cats throughout my life. I am very adaptable and can accept short notice bookings. Cats and dogs are allowed access to the entire apartment. I ask owners bring litter and food but am able to provide it if you are unable. I have worked with young kittens/puppies, seniors, special needs cats, high energy cats and dogs, and cats with all sorts of personalities. I live in an apartment and will take your dog out multiple times a day. I am home all day, your little buddy won’t be alone at any time. I am able to accept same day bookings and same day cancellations. Due to my living arrangements I can not accept dogs that struggle with excess barking. I do not work due to disability and have open availability ***I ONLY OFFER CAT BOARDING*** I can board up to 4 cats in my home for as long as needed. My dog is good with cats and has lived with them most of his life. I will update you daily with photos/videos. I provide toys, scratching posts, and will shower your kitty with attention. I ask you bring food and litter. My dog does great with cats and is friendly with them. He respects their boundaries and leaves them alone. He’s the same way with other dogs. I will follow feeding and care schedules. During daycare services with your dog I will ensure they get outside multiple times a day, and are safe and taken care of. I live near a large dog park and several walking trails. I will follow your cats care routine and schedule. I am home most of the day and can provide around the clock care and attention. I have toys, scratching boards, and a supply of litter/food for cats. I do not currently own a cat but have owned many throughout my life.
“Charlie loves walking with Tracy. She has a calming and positive nature that helps with his high energy. He watches out the window for her. I really appreciate it, along with her flexibility with my schedule.”

About: I have years of experience caring for my own pets and pet-sitting for others. My experience includes all age ages and sizes of dogs and cats, including rescue animals, French bulldogs, pitbulls and Persian cats. I also have some experience with giving medication to pets and caring for small animals such as hedgehogs and rabbits. I love all kinds of animals and take pride in understanding and respecting a pet's unique needs and boundaries, such as petting and feeding needs. I look forward to giving your pet the same love and respect I give my own! Over this summer I am completely flexible as I will be attending university at the start of fall. I will have a very flexible schedule for both booking appointments and playing/walking with your animals. I like to keep a strict feeding schedule-which can fit to your pets needs if they already have one-and a minimum walk time of 30 minutes daily. Pets are allowed everywhere in both yard and home. If needed or wanted I am willing and happy to send daily photos and/or videos of your pet to you for peace of mind!

About: Hi there! I've been an animal lover my whole life and have 20+ years experience caring for both cats and dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. From walks and play time at the park to chill hangs and snuggles on the couch, I'd be thrilled to spend time with your furry family member. I’ve just moved back home to Minneapolis after a gap year spent in Melbourne, Australia. While I search for a full time job, my schedule is flexible and available to care for your pets. I’m respectful of your home and your rules— whatever they may be— and am available for both drop-in visits or overnight stays to care for your animals.
About: Hi, I'm Caitlin! Being a pet parent is special, and I genuinely understand what it means to trust someone with your pet. I lost my 15-year-old dog last year, and that kind of loss changes how you see pet care, and it's exactly why I take this seriously. Every animal in my home gets real attention, a consistent routine, and the kind of care I'd want for my own. My home is a calm, adults-only environment with a fully fenced yard to ensure safe outdoor time, and my neighborhood is a quiet tucked away pocket near Cedar Lake. While I try to board pets only from the same home, there can at times be exceptions (mostly holidays). While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I only confirm stays I can genuinely support. I build the routine around the pet to the best of my ability. I'll ask you what your animal's schedule looks like at home and do my best to mirror it. I know consistency matters! I treat communication as part of the service. You won't wonder how your pet is doing. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. I'll ask you in advance about their routine (feeding schedule, walk preferences, any quirks or triggers) and I follow it to the best of my ability. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I typically do not take overlapping bookings unless the pets are from the same household, but there are sometimes exceptions. At your home: I follow whatever directions you leave. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. For cats especially, in-home sitting is often the lower-stress option, and after a year of fostering, I know how to read a cat who's fine versus one who isn't.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember, my family always fostered kittens/puppies throughout my childhood and I have an 8 year old cat I got when I was 11 years old! (Lots of experience with animals) I’ve been dog walking since I was 16 years old for neighbors and family, I love taking care of animals and I always have. I’m super trustworthy and reliable and would love to pet sit or walk your furry friend! I’m currently babysitting throughout the week so I will have plenty of time to watch your furry friend weekends and most weekdays, I do plan on doing this full time eventually! I care for every pet like my own! I’m such an animal person you can always trust me to keep them safe and loved!
“Darwin is incredibly reliable, and they work very well with our pup Sage. We have been able to rest easy during the work day (and check our pet camera less!), because we know Sage is in good hands with Darwin. They have even taken some time during our booking to reinforce training with Sage!”

“Paul picked up Abby right on time, and reported that her walk and play time with Nessie went splendidly. The pictures were a great addition. We schedule a redo this week.”
About: Need someone that loves your dog like you do? I can help! :) I’ve been an animal lover my whole life! I bring a calm and understanding care to every fur friend I look after. I currently dog walk a sweet 5 year old Boxer-mix weekly, but I’m excited to add more animals to my schedule. I build a bond with the pets in my care and am always looking for ways to personalize my approach to best fit their needs! -I also volunteer weekly as an animal care assistant at the Animal Humane Society! I am working part-time so I have lots of time to spend with your pet! I am available on weekdays for walks & drop-ins! I would love to meet your fur friend🐾 Making sure your pet feels comfortable is my top priority! I take the health and safety of the pet in my care very seriously. Ensuring that they receive their regular feedings times, potty breaks, medications, walks, play-time etc.! Aside from usual clean-ups (accidents/messes), I also do my best to tidy up as I go.
“Emilie was great with our dog Linus! She was very responsive and lovely with our old dog. I appreciated her quick and thorough responses and care when walking Linus.”

About: Want to get your dog tired out while you're at work? Drop them off at our place and they'll get a play buddy for the day, a mid-day walk, frequent back yard breaks, and plenty of treats and pets. One of us is almost always working from home, and we'd love to host your pup. Our dog's name is Odie. He's 4 years old, and gets along with most dogs. He's a great host and is playful and curious with other generally friendly dogs. Reach out and we can set something up! My partner and I take care of our dog together on a continuous basis. Your pet would be given all of the love, time, and attention that our pet receives. We will select booking dates on days where one or both of us will be home for the entire day. We have a fenced in yard and one fur baby. Odie gets along really well with most dogs. One of us would always be here to monitor the dogs, and we have a simple and effective way of separating them if necessary (a sliding door between the front and back of the house). We give pee breaks and refresh the water bowl frequently. On days we have a dog guest, we provide a 20-30 minute mid-day walk as long as it's not too hot or cold. Otherwise, we go and play with them in the back yard during our lunch break. We are willing to provide one or both meals if they come pre-portioned.

“This was my first time boarding my dog ever and also using Rover. Experience could not have been better! Mckenzie was so sensitive and caring for our very sweet but VERY nervous girl. She sent lots of pics and was very upbeat and positive. Her space was comfortable and accommodating for any type of dog. Can’t wait to use her again.”

“Our pug LOVED his 4-day stay with Brenda and her family! Our little guy got along great with her two pit bulls and really bonded with their little boy.

“Robert was the BEST Rover we have ever had!!! I cannot recommend him enough 😃 Our dog, Archie, had a great time staying with him and got lots of love, attention, and walkies 🐾 Robert sent such fun updates, pictures, and videos that we loved getting and made us smile so much while away from our little guy 🤍 We will definitely be booking with him anytime we need to board Archie again in the future. I would give him 10 stars if I could ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I felt so great about leaving my dog with Emily. We did a meet and greet a month or so before my booking and at the time she was caring for another, older dog. My dog is not as spry as he used to be and knowing that she has experience with other older furry friends gave me additional peace of mind. She was always very prompt to respond during the booking process and scheduling drop off/pick up times. My dog seemed so comfortable and happy in her care, he seemed like he didn't even want to leave when I went to pick him up! Next time I am in need a sitter, Emily's availability will be the first thing I look into!”
“Saniya and her family were great with Tille and incredibly informative about her stay while we were away. She got to go on walks, run around their big yard, and socialize with their dog Bungee. Highly recommend”
