I was so worried about leaving him with a veritable stranger for a week, but it worked out perfectly. Maria was good to meet at her place briefly before I booked just to make sure all was well, which of course it was. She sent so many pics and vids! It’s clear he spent plenty of time with the family, not sitting in a small space all day like he would have been if boarded elsewhere. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.

About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) About: I work from home and attend university online as well. So I will be with my furry friends 24/7. I never really leave them alone. When I doggy sit, I've always thought of them as my own while they are around. While I have them, I get to play with them, walk around and get my walks in, enjoy Netflix on the couch, and more importantly naps and cuddles together! When I walk them, I am always aware of other dogs and I'm always protective of "my" dogs, unless I know for sure the other dog/s are super nice. I love a happy dog. My partner can tell you I cry easily when I see a suffering animal of any kind, especially dogs. So If I'm doggy sitting, I make sure they know love. I work from home so this would be a great opportunity for me to make extra money but to also have a dog around. My two cats, Felix and Oscar, past away recently (they had a great 20 years!) and I miss having a pet buddy around. I've been a regular dog sitter for my friends (shout out to Jake the shy but awesome boston terrier, Kingsley the lovable and kind pit bull and Gus Gus the instagram famous french bull dog!) So, I know this will be a great opportunity for me. I work from home and attend university online so I am home 24/7. Unless it's an emergency, I will be with your dog ALL the time I'm with them. I love and follow instructions very well and in detail pertaining to the dogs' specific care given to me. I ALWAYS send daily photos and messages with updates about the dogs.

“Our dogs had the best time staying with Aastha and Daniel! We received multiple photos and updates daily and I was totally at ease knowing they were getting plenty of exercise and attention. My dogs have never been exposed to cats so I wasn't sure how boarding them in a home with cats would go. But their home was so well equipped to keep the cats separated. They have a big beautiful sun room in the back of their home that can be closed off as well as a lower level that can be closed off. They also have a large fenced in backyard where my pups thoroughly enjoyed playing fetch during Daniel and Aastha's work breaks. The best part was knowing that Daniel and Aastha mostly work from home. Our dogs are used to people being around so this was a huge bonus! Our younger dog can have some anxious tendencies that affect her eating and her GI and she had no issues during our 5 day trip. We will definitely book them again and cannot recommend them enough!”
