About: I love cats and get their quirks, their independence, and how to earn their trust at their own pace. I also work from home, so your cat can get steady company and attention during the day. Happy to water your plants during drop-ins too, so everything’s thriving when you get back. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me for years to feed, check in on, and snuggle their cats when they’re away, and I take that trust seriously. When a friend’s cat needed an emergency vet visit while they were overseas, I was there to handle it and keep them updated every step of the way. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or quirks your cat has so things stay consistent while you’re away!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Howe
Prices are estimates per day. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

About: I grew up with dogs and they are truly my heart and soul. We currently have 2 dogs 2 cats, (although one dog is a part time since they follow shared custody with the teens). We would absolutely love to take in your dog. We both work from home so they would get plenty of loving and attention! I work from home full time, along with my partner who also works from home; so honestly I'm very open. Our own dogs generally are taken out about every 3 hours regardless if they go potty or not. The animals have free range of the house (minus our bed) 😊 I do have a yard, although its not fenced, we have a track or a ground post if your worried about them running away while being outside. We also love to take walks. If they stay close and listen well, I generally stay outside with them. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
“Karen and Ryan have been the best sitters for my puppy. He’s always so happy to go to their house. They’ve been feeding him and helping with a medical need during the day and are flexible when I’m running late from work. Would recommend them to friends and family!”

“Hopps has enjoyed his days with Kara and the family. He looks forward to playing in the yard with Oscar, walks with the kiddos and having someone to follow around all day. Kara is so great at documenting the day with pictures and reporting on his activities. I know he’s in good hands 😊”
“Deanna is so welcoming to both me and my pet! I have been delighted with her care and communication. It makes all the difference in the world to leave my pet with a kind, caring, fun person and home and that's Deanna! My dog, Foxy, runs right up to her and comes back with a smile and signs of a fun day! Thanks, Deanna!!”

About: I love animals and I love a good nature walk. You can be sure your animal will not only be in good care but also in nature and ready for a nap when you get home. I am a part yoga instructor/business owner. With that I am able to create a flexible work for myself all the time. Meaning I can not only help you out with your animal but if you want I could teach you some yoga. I have an environment best suited for either a city/apartment living dog or cat. I live very close to Loring and Walker Arts, so there are plenty of walking trails near me.
About: Hi there! I’m Grace, a lifelong animal lover with a passion for caring for pets of all kinds. Growing up in a household that’s always had dogs (and often other pets), I’ve had the privilege of developing strong bonds with animals from a young age. My experience ranges from house-sitting and dog walking to working closely with puppies, giving me a well-rounded understanding of animal behavior and care. I’ve always felt a special connection with dogs, and over the years, I’ve gotten to know them as the unique, playful, and loving individuals they are. Whether it’s a lively puppy, a calm senior, or an energetic middle-aged dog, I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and adjust my care to make sure they feel comfortable and loved. Since I work from home most days, I’m able to offer your pet plenty of attention, companionship, and consistency throughout the day. I also love going on daily walks, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and outdoor time. For me, pet care isn’t just about looking after animals—it’s about building lasting friendships with them. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, getting to know their quirks, and ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away. I’d love to meet your furry family member and offer them the same love and attention I’ve given to my own pets over the years! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine, as I work from home most days, which allows me to provide consistent attention and care to pets throughout the day. I’m already in the habit of going on daily walks, so including a furry companion in that routine is easy and would make my days brighter. Whether it’s taking a break to go for a stroll, offering playtime, or simply being there for cuddles and companionship, I’m able to give pets the care, attention, and structure they need while still balancing my work responsibilities. My flexible schedule means your pet will always have someone nearby to keep them company and engaged. I love getting the chance to care for dogs in their own homes or during walks. I’m happy to provide pet sitting or dog walking services at your place, where your pet feels most comfortable. In your home, I’ll follow your routine and provide the same care and attention I would give my own pets, ensuring they’re safe, happy, and well-cared for. I can keep them active with regular walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. While I may not have a pet of my own at home, I enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the love and attention they deserve in their own space!

“Great experience having Robert watch my pup - highly recommended, especially for a high-energy dog. Will definitely be coming to him in the future when I need someone to take care of her while I'm in Minneapolis.”

“I appreciate Howie and the care he provided my pup! He had a blast and smiled all night! I feel good leaving him with Howie and I know he will be cared for the way I would.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life: dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, fish, turtles, you name it. I also work from home so your pet can get steady company and attention during the day, not just a quick in-and-out visit. Happy to water your plants during drop-ins too, so everything’s thriving when you get back. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me for years to feed, check in on, and snuggle their pets when they’re away, and I take that trust seriously. When a friend’s cat needed an emergency vet visit while they were overseas, I was there to handle it and keep them updated every step of the way. I also take direction well so if you’re working on training with your dog, I’ll follow your routine closely to keep things consistent while you’re away. I’m currently working from home so I am flexible with daytime walks and visits! I’m available for walks and drop-in visits, usually between 11am and 6pm I treat others space with the same respect I’d want mine to be treated with: I’m careful with entry access and making sure doors and gates are secure before I leave. I always double check food, water, and litter areas. If anything comes up, I stay calm, act quickly, and keep you informed the whole time.

About: I have had a dog (yellow lab) since I was in sixth grade, and I have taken care of coworker’s pets on occasion. I now have a rescue pitbull I love dearly. I can walk and play and sit with your pet to make sure they feel loved and have fun. I am currently out of school for the summer and I have a very flexible schedule, and I would love to come hang out with your pets! I like to hang out with animals and make them feel comfortable; I have a nice large fenced in backyard, and I have a car that I can take your pet in, if they like going in the car. I am used to giving a dog two walks a day, in the morning and evening.
About: I have been around dogs since I was born. I helped raise my childhood dog from a puppy to a senior and saw every transition that came with. I helped two of my roommates raise their dogs while I lived with them and I have been dog sitting on and off for friends and family for years I’m working at an internship part time while I wait to start teaching in the fall. I have a lot of free time on the weekends and I would love to spend it catering to the needs of sweet dogs. I would make sure to gather plenty of information from the client to make sure the dogs have the best time they can while their parents are away. I would spend time letting the dogs get to know me in their own homes so they feel safe and comfortable with me, and I would make sure to stay in communication with the owners.
About: While I do not have a dog of my own, I love caring for and playing with my friend’s dogs and love learning their unique personalities. I’m currently unemployed and have an abundance of time on my hands to go for walks or play or stop in for a potty break. I have a fenced in back yard and two cats. I do not have access to a crate so if that is necessary, it would need to be provided.
About: ** Will be starting a part-time job in September, potentially moving to full-time after. I will have flexibility, so feel free to ask about walks and drop-ins! I will most likely not be able to accept recurring Rover requests for the moment though.** No matter the size, breed or personality of your pet, earning their trust and friendship (along with your own trust) is my top priority. I grew up in a multi-pet household taking care of dogs, birds and small animals. Since then, I have taken care of horses, anoles, cats, parakeets and my curiosity for getting to know an animal's individual personality has only grown over that time. I currently have two dogs: an Australian shepherd and border collie mix, both of whom I raised from puppies by myself. We are an active family, walking/hiking and in general spending time exploring the neighborhood for hours a day, traveling together for camping or cabin vacations in our free time. It's cliche, but my dogs are truly my family and as a long-time Rover user on the customer side, I understand what it means to have a sitter/walker you can trust while you're away. I love finding people who strive to understand them as individuals and who are sensitive to their needs. My border collie is highly sensitive and I have learned to work within his limits, giving him the stimulation he needs by finding more isolated parks to sniff around, mental challenges inside, etc. that keep him entertained while reducing stress. I am more than comfortable getting to know your own pets' quirks and finding ways to keep their days consistent and stress-free. Pet care is already at the center of my life, as I have two energetic herding dogs. We walk frequently every day to help burn energy -- I like to let my dogs walk at their pace so they can sniff around and stimulate their brains while getting exercise. As someone with pets I understand the importance of trust-building in drop-in visit situations. As your schedule permits, we can meet beforehand via a meet and greet to get a feel for your schedule and space, and how to support your comfort and your pets'. Pets thrive with routine, and I strive to support that.

About: I have grown up around pets all of my life, having had multiple dogs and cats throughout. As a teenager, I would be trusted by neighbors to sit multiple pets at a time while they went on vacation. More than that, I am familiar with senior pet care and administering oral medicine. I am currently working part-time so I am available and ready to handle pet care most days of the week, including weekends. More, I am able to do early morning and late night care. I can create a safe environment for your pet by finding their comfort and acknowledging what they need within the home. Likewise, on walks, I am able to handle large dogs and other animal contact, making sure your pet stays safe in my care.
About: I have provided care to dogs, cats, rats, and birds for many years. I am detail oriented and enjoy following any care instructions for your animals in order to make them feel loved and cared for while you are away. I have time in the early mornings, late afternoons, and evenings to care for your furry friends. I am happy to talk about how we can work together to make sure your pet gets the care they need. I am detail oriented and respect all rules and guidelines you put in place for the health and safety of your animals with great enthusiasm and care.
About: I've had 22 years of experience living with and loving black labs in south Minneapolis. I can accommodate dogs of any age. I love to be outdoors and enjoy walking. My work week is full; however, I am fully available on the weekends to dote on your pup. I am a teacher. From mid-August to mid-June my weeks are full. My weekends are open. I'm available over holidays. I am also available throughout the summer. I have a small home with a fenced-in yard and a park within blocks. For the past twelve years, I had a dog, and we walked every day. I greatly miss my companion and would love to shower your dog with lots of love and care.

We’d absolutely work with her again!”

About: Hi, my name is Katie. I am an experienced pet sitter, and I love giving all my clients extra love and attention, just like my own family's dog. I grew up with shelties. While I don't have any pets of my own right now, I just graduated from a master's program and have lots of love to give your furry friends. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, and have a special place in my heart for senior pets. I am happy to pop by your home for an evening or weekend walk with your furry friend, or we can schedule an overnight stay. I am very attentive to my client's needs and remain attentive to my surroundings. When I'm out walking with a dog and I see another dog, I make sure to steer the dogs away from one another, even crossing the street if needed. I will check to make sure they have enough water before I leave and that all the doors are locked.
“Charlie loves walking with Tracy. She has a calming and positive nature that helps with his high energy. He watches out the window for her. I really appreciate it, along with her flexibility with my schedule.”
