“This is the longest I've ever left Mia and I did not want to board her at a kennel for 12 nights. Lan kept me updated with pictures and videos that made me relax and enjoy my vacation more knowing she was well taken care of and had a buddy to play with too. Thanks Lan!”

“Betsy is a “dog whisperer”. When we went for our meet & greet, I think Nani (my dog) made the decision. She was immediately comfortable. When she stayed overnight, she felt at home, and I enjoyed the texts and pictures. I hope she can be my go-to dog sitter.”
“It may sound cliche, but in this case it also true that Robert truly enjoys being with and caring for your dog. He’s responsive, conscientious, and sent a few great photos of our dog relaxing on her bed - she appeared to immediately feel safe and cared for. Thank you!”

“Lydia has been fantastic with Milo our dog. On a recent trip our plane got rescheduled due to a blizzard in Minnesota and she was so easy to work with. I really appreciate her help. Thank you so much, Lydia.”

“Brenda & family were amazing with Aspen. Aspen felt right at home and happy. I received regular updates and knew she was well taken care of. Highly recommended.”
“Mckenzie was amazing for our nervous dog Winnie - she kept us updated with pictures and made sure Winnie was well cared for! She was also super flexible with pick up time when our flight kept getting delayed. Highly recommend having your pups stay with Mckenzie!”

“Catherine was absolutely wonderful! This was Zuri's first time staying away from home and Catherine went above and beyond to make her feel at home. Catherine sent daily updates and photos, which were much appreciated, and lots of special treats and special love were given. Zuri also enjoyed having another dog to play with, as she is an only child. I would highly recommend Catherine and will definitely use her again.”

“This was my first time using Rover and the first time Jerry was away from me or my parents (who usually take care of him) and I couldn’t have asked for better! The constant updates made me feel at ease and I felt so comfortable leaving him with people who seem to know plenty about dogs. Would highly recommend!”

“Amanda and her family treated Appa so well! She sent so many cute pictures, I could tell they totally spoiled him during his visit. We would love to use them in the future!”

“This was the best dog sitting experience I can imagine! Ellen was quick and clear in communication prior to booking and made it very easy when we decided to do a Meet and Greet. She went above and beyond to make things as simple as possible to accommodate my travel and preferences. Ellen sent the cutest pictures and updates while I was away, and it was clear my dog could not have been in better hands!”

“Cooper had a lot of fun with Tristan and family. They went above and beyond to accommodate us with a flight change. 100% would love to have Cooper stay with them again.”

“Alexis took Henry on short notice due to a personal emergency and immediately made him a member of her family. She regularly sent pictures showing him cuddled up and walking, and updates that eased my mind as I was trapped thousands of miles away by weather. She was flexible as I struggled with getting home, and just, generally, wonderful. Henry is reactive but she knew how to make him relax. So grateful.”

“Joayne and her children are the perfect home-away-from-home for my pug. They take such good care of him and give him lots of love. He loves them back! I’m so grateful they are providing this service.”

“Emily & son were great!! Our dogs were well cared for, and their love of animals (sending pics while we were gone) was obvious. We would definitely book with Emily again!”
“Kyle provided a comfortable stay for my dog Len's first Rover experience. Even though it was a pretty short stay it was so nice to get pictures and an update on how Len was doing. Will definitely be using Kyle again!”

“Excellent experience. My dog came home happy and exhausted. Exactly what I wanted. Received many photos too. Appreciated those a great deal. Thank you Susie and Matt.”

“Barbara was really sweet with our dog Guapo and kept us up to date, also we had a last minute change in our reservation and she was very accommodating and flexible. We will definitely consider her for future dog care needs :)”

“Our dog Ruby is a sensitive creature and can take a while to warm to new people, but from the photos sent by Julia during our vacation showed Ruby relaxing or on a walk with their dog. She seemed to feel loved! Thank you Julia and Dan!”

“She did a wonderful job with my guinea pigs. She went above and beyond to make sure they were well taken care of when I was gone. I was nervous about leaving them for an extended period of time as they are older guineas pigs, but she did better than I could have expected. I would highly recommend”

“Molly is awesome! She communicates very well and obviously cares so much about animals. She sent so many cute pictures and spent a little extra time with my cats, and they seemed to be very happy to hang out with her.”

“For our first Rover sitter, Caroline was the best person we could’ve booked with! She sent us so many pictures and updates, and gave our kitties so much love! I super appreciated how quick she was to responding to our messages, and I will totally book her in the future!”

“Where to begin! I am so happy I found Lindsay to care for my old lady. She was incredibly friendly, communicative, thoughtful and thorough. My go to drop in sitter from now.”

“Ann was fantastic! She was available last minute and kept our kitten company while we were away for a week. She provided a perfect amount of communication and updates for us. She gave us great peace of mind on our trip and we would absolutely rebook!”

“Larissa is caring and gentle with my dogs. She has exceptional communication. She handled a 8 week puppy and a 2 year old high energy GSD all within one visit and did an amazing job! I have great amount of trust in her, 10/10 recommend!”

“Jayda is the absolute best. This is my 4th or 5th time using her, and will absolutely continue to do so. This time my cat needed a new daily inhaler treatment, and Jayda was great about getting it done. My cat loves her.”

“This was my first time hiring a cat-sitter through Rover, and Molly was very informative, friendly, and consistent with daily updates; I was at ease knowing my cat is in good hands! I especially appreciate her thoroughness with communication and willingness to pivot in different directions/additional instruction regardless of time zone differences. Molly is a real one, highly recommended!”

“Elizabeth was AMAZING! I hadn’t used a service before and was a little nervous - but she was awesome. Before I left for vacation was available and responsive - and made me feel comfortable leveling knowing Sam (my cat) was in good hands. While I was gone she sent pics and answered all of my texts quickly. Sam was so happy when I returned She also left his litter box area CLEANER than when I left. I highly recommend. And Sam does as well.”

“Sarah did an awesome job with our young cat Prismo. Communicative and attentive. She sent really cute and varied photos of him in the report card. He seemed happy in the photos :). Felt good to know Sarah was taking care of our boy when we were away. Thank you Sarah!”

“Olivia rocks! One of my cats has asthma and requires her inhaler daily, so I was quite nervous to leave her in someone else's care. Olivia gave me daily updates and successfully managed to administer the inhaler at the same time each day. She kept the litter boxes and surrounding area super clean, and even brought in some packages and mail. I would absolutely choose Olivia again next time I go out of town.”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life. In fact, when I was little, I used to tell my mom I wanted to be a dog when I grew up! 😂 My passion for dogs led me to begin fostering in 2019, and since then I've helped around 40 dogs find their forever homes. I've worked with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, though many of my fosters have been puppy mill survivors who needed extra patience, understanding, and support as they adjusted to life in a home. I've fostered with several wonderful rescue organizations, including Underdog Rescue, MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, Minneapolis Animal Control, and Coco's Heart. Through fostering, I've gained experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I've also fostered blind and deaf dogs. I have experience administering oral medications, eye drops and topicals. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. The upside for your dog is that I'm home most of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and attention. I live in a first-floor duplex in South Minneapolis with a fully fenced yard. I share my home with two friendly dogs: a senior blind Boston Terrier and a playful 3-year-old who loves having the right playmate. Because we've welcomed so many foster dogs into our home over the years, both of my dogs are comfortable meeting new canine friends and are adaptable to different personalities and energy levels. My younger dog is a swimmer, so during the summer we love visiting the dog park at Minnehaha Falls. If your dog enjoys adventures, has reliable recall, and you'd be comfortable with it, I'd be happy to bring them along! I want visiting dogs to feel as comfortable as possible, so I try to maintain the routines they're used to at home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, and I'm flexible when it comes to crating, sleeping arrangements, and daily routines. If your dog normally sleeps in bed with their people, they're welcome to sleep with me too. While I do take my dogs on walks several times a week, daily walks are not part of our regular routine. If your dog requires daily walks, please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss their needs and make sure we're a good fit. I provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe, and having a great time. A few things to know before booking: • While I am home most of the time, there are occasional events or commitments that may keep me away for 4+ hours. I will do my best to communicate this ahead of time, but please let me know if your dog cannot be left alone for that length of time so I can confirm my schedule before accepting a booking. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, my home is generally the best fit for dogs who are: • Comfortable in a relatively calm household. Very high-energy dogs can be stressful for my senior dog, who is blind. • Reasonably quiet when left alone. Normal barking at delivery drivers or unfamiliar noises is completely fine. However, because I live in a duplex with shared walls, I am unable to host dogs who bark continuously when alone or throughout the night. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, and I'm always happy to answer questions to help determine if we're the right fit for each other. Since losing my job in February, I've decided to focus on Rover full-time. About: I've cared for over 15 different dog breeds since I was 10 years old, from high energy hunting dogs to cozy lap snugglers. Friends and family have trusted me with their beloved pets for years. With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. When house sitting in your home, I can happily care for up to four dogs, keeping everyone safe, comfortable, and happy in their own home. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Every pet in my care enjoys a healthy balance of play, mental stimulation, walks, and quiet time to rest and recharge. Evenings are cozy and relaxed, filled with gentle supervision and snuggles, so pets feel safe, happy, and loved from morning to night. I have a fully fenced yard with secure gate locks to keep pets safe, and I’m happy to make adjustments using leads or harnesses for curious or adventurous pups. I also maintain an up-to-date list of urgent care and emergency veterinary clinics throughout the metro area for added peace of mind. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. I’m located about 15 minutes from MSP Airport, which many traveling pet parents find convenient for drop-off and pick-up. Street parking is available in the area, and rideshares to the airport are typically around $20.
“Best sitters ever! Couldn’t recommend Karen and Ryan enough. Lambo absolutely LOVES when he goes over to their house and gets the wiggles every time he see them. Just proves how much they care for your dog like their own. They’re very flexible with my schedule and I can’t appreciate that enough.”

“Absolutely incredible experience. Celia was easy to communicate with and sent me pics of my pup throughout the day. I would love to book again - highly recommmend”

“Alyson is wonderful! Our pup stayed with her while we were visiting town and I'm so so glad we found her. Alyson was super responsive and easy to communicate with and really flexible. Plus my pup was zonked out after we picked him up, so he must have played a lot and had a great time.”

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

About: Over 20 years experience working with people, their kids, and their pets. We have a fun home with two-work-from-home parents and our 2 year old goldendoodle (no kids). Our days with dogs are spent walking down the creek, playing the backyard, getting pup cups at the ice cream shop and snuggling on the front porch chairs. I work from home with a flexible schedule. Pups aren’t left for more than a few hours a day, if at all! My dog, Bo, is also good company. We have a casual home where dogs are part of the family. With a fenced yard and close access to trails, every dog gets lots of exercise. Our 2-year-old goldendoodle is a good friend and loves to play!
About: My partner and I have 10+ years of pet care experience, including experience with both puppies and senior dogs. Growing up on two farms, Lex gained much knowledge when caring for animals. We have cared for dogs with dietary needs, anxiety and are comfortable administering any medications. Because we both work from home, and offer a flexible schedule for personalized care for every dog. Our dog, Juniper, is outgoing and loves new friends, and has her fair share of zoomies in our privacy fenced backyard. Morning and evening walks are standard, and so are "play breaks" throughout the day. Whether you have a high-energy doggo or a sleepy fur-baby, our schedule and environment can support both. We have a fenced in privacy fence backyard and Juniper is always excited to befriend a new buddy. We have three cats, all are dog friendly! Our home is full of cozy dog beds and toys galore. Because both my partner and I work from home, we are able to dedicate time to make your fur-baby feel safe, welcome and like one of our own.

“Howie and Betsy were convenient, accommodating and flexible with my work schedules. They clearly love dogs and my baby boy was always happy to get out of the car and rush in to their home! Thank you.”

“Takenya waa excellent with our dog and went up and beyond with the care. And she was great about Sending pictures and videos. She is excellent with dogs. You can tell from the minute she meet her that she loves animals. She helped us out on short notice We recommend her highly.”

“Great experience having Robert watch my pup - highly recommended, especially for a high-energy dog. Will definitely be coming to him in the future when I need someone to take care of her while I'm in Minneapolis.”

“Jen was fantastic! My 4 month old pitbull terrier had so much fun playing with her dogs and going on the trampoline! She is very patient and understanding of “puppy behavior”. Jen sent videos and photos throughout the day so I knew my guy was having fun, which was awesome. I will definitely be using her again. So nice to have peace of mind when I have to leave my dog that he is in such great hands.”

About: I've taken care of cats for most of my life and volunteered at an animal shelter for a few years. I've taken care of two cats up into their old ages of 16 years and 19 years old each, both living healthy, happy, comfortable lives indoors. They were shorthaired cats, named Morris and Edward. Morris was a wild rez cat, he was very silly, small, buff black cat who grew just a little bit fat in his old age, and since he was young he's had a slightly shorter, stubbed tip tail and a frostbitten ear. Edward was a rescued wild barncat from the farmlands outside of Wrenshall, a big, lean, and smart gray cat. They both lived very happily together under my care and the care of my parents and grandparents for their entire lives. I have two cats, the oldest is 5 years old, her name is Charwee, and the youngest is 2 years old, his name is Riggsatoni. They are both longhaired cats, with Charwee being a near-black tortoiseshell with a golden ruff, left foot, and a series of golden freckles across her face like a galaxy, finishing with a "shooting star" out of her left ear. Riggs is an dusty orange and white mask-and-mantle, taller than his new friend, Charwee, but with just as much fur and sweetness as she has. He's still getting the hang of being part of our household, as he's been with me since November 2025. I've also managed to train my 5 year old cat a variety of tricks and help behaviors, such as: She reminds me to take my medications if I've not gotten to it yet. She can also do two variations of a "stand" trick, complete the "spin" trick in both directions, and understands her "left" and "right" sides after training her the "touch" and "high five" tricks, meaning you can ask her for a "left paw touch" and she'll give you one. She is also trained to walk on harness. I am in process of training my youngest 2 year old cat to get him used to his harness, and even considering training him with tricks as well, but I am also giving him time to get used to his new home with my boyfriend and I. I have lived with both shorthair and longhair cats, and I've managed to trim claws with little issue for most cats; granted, some cats are obviously not always going to be comfortable with claw trims, and therefore, in my experience, it has been better for their mental state to only do one claw every five to thirty minutes, and reassure them that they're okay with giving them pets, play, and treats, or even their personal space if they desire instead, with gentle speak to remind them they still need their "spaw" day, because no one wants their nails embedded into their pads. For very short times over the course of my 26 years, I have also taken care of dogs every now and again, and even managed to train them how to handle claw trims or do some tricks. I once even had a pair of two mixed shepherd pups, picked up from my reservation, and managed to train them to follow off-leash, accept claw trims, wear harnesses, do a few tricks, and even accept baths in the short time that I was taking care of them. I'm flexible as I'm currently unemployed and job-hunting. I'm often awake at 7am but I don't become more active until 8am, and from then I'm available until 9pm. I'm usually observing body language, often consciously listening to vocal cues, and being mindful while learning about other's pet's behaviors and preferences, paying attention to any possible wants or needs via observing body languages; a few examples I can provide is when my cats point their bodies towards their bowls and indicate to me that something isn't full enough and needs more food or water, or when they indicate they want to play with me and not the other cat, or when they use their paws to touch things that have something they want inside of them, like a bag of treats or a drawer that contains the treats.

“Madisen has been so wonderful with my dogs! I trust her completely to take great care of them. She keeps me updated and sends lots of adorable photos too. I’d recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs (large and small) and have cats of my own. I also have experience caring for rodents, fish, and plants. I love animals, and as a pet owner myself, I do my best to communicate with owners so i can give them the peace of mind that their pets and home are well cared for while they’re away. My flexible schedule allows me to cater to almost every request, making it even easier to ensure that your pets are getting the care you prefer and they deserve. Booking a house sitting with me means I will be at your home with your pet the entire time, unless otherwise specified/requested by you. Since I don’t board in my home, there’s no need to worry about the safety level of a new environment. Any instructions will be carefully followed, and your fur baby will be safe and comfy in their home environment.

About: I’m an Animal Science graduate and I train service dogs with Can Do Canines, so I have a lot of experience working with dogs in different environments and understanding their behavior and needs. I’ve worked with puppies, high-energy dogs, and older pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m very attentive to body language and routines, and I always try to make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also grew up with dogs and have hands-on experience raising and training my own family pets—including a feisty dachshund puppy who I helped train into a gentle, well-behaved dog, along with two other dogs with strong obedience and great temperaments. My background means I naturally reinforce good habits, use positive reinforcement, and keep things consistent with what your pet already knows. I truly love spending time with animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own—whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just giving them some extra attention and cuddles. After graduating from UMN, I’ll be working part-time at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Roseville (around 20 hours per week). My schedule varies slightly week to week, but this also gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. Outside of my shifts, I have a wide availability and love filling my time caring for pets. I’m happy to work with your schedule and can often accommodate mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended stays. I currently provide care in clients’ homes, where pets are most comfortable in their own environment and routine. I always take the time to learn your pet’s schedule, preferences, and any specific instructions so I can keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible. Safety is my top priority. I’m very attentive to surroundings on walks and in the home, and always monitor pets closely. With my background training service dogs, I’m confident handling a variety of behaviors and situations calmly and responsibly. I also have experience administering medications, including oral, topical, and injectable medications, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions when needed. I respect your home as if it were my own, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left them. I’m happy to send regular updates, photos, and communicate as much as you’d like so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“Molly was such a joy to work with and went above and beyond to give our dog a much needed break and extra attention in the middle of the day. We will use her again in a heartbeat!”

I am an avid walker and love taking dogs out on their own personalized strolls. I have raised several puppies into confident dogs, been patient with the shy and the elderly, and am ready to play with rough housers. I am in a unique situation of flexible working hours to be available for your pets and you. Need sitting for a small mammal or reptile? Reach out! I have experience in all sorts of small friends! I am a full time real estate agent which means my hours are flexible. Most of my work is done right from home and my days are neatly scheduled to make sure when I need to be out of the house, I will be able to return within a few hours. My schedule will only be open so long as I have the time to care for your pet in my home without too many hours away. If you are boarding your dog, rest assured, they will be comfortable and safe with me. I live in a secure condominium that has been pet-proofed since day one with a live-in Cavalier who is gentle as a lamb. Dogs will never be taken out without a leash and will never interact with anything outside of the home without my supervision. With my schedule, they will be taken out many times throughout the day and can be kept on any feeding schedule you require.
“Great First Experience with Rover I used Rover for the first time to find a last-minute dog walker, and it was a fantastic experience. My walker was super communicative, accommodating, and made the process stress-free. I got updates, photos, and a happy pup at the end. Highly recommend and will use again!”

“Alex has been absolutely wonderful! He has been very patient with Finn and allowed him to take his time warming up to him. Alex sends me daily photos which I really appreciate, and has offered to spend more time with Finn outside after noticing that Finn was enjoying it. I plan on continuing to use Alex’s services and highly suggest him!”

“Charlie loves walking with Tracy. She has a calming and positive nature that helps with his high energy. He watches out the window for her. I really appreciate it, along with her flexibility with my schedule.”

“Jackson and Morgan were able to take care of my pup on very short notice - a lifesaver for me! They were quick to respond to messages and I also I got pics from the walk.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats so I am versatile, bringing the silly to the park or the calm to the rest time. Would love to get to know you and your furry family members! I'm currently at home with my baby so I'm fairly flexible with my schedule. As long as I'm not nursing, I can pop over to give your fur babies some love! Before I meet your little buds, I want to have a thorough conversation with you about your expectations, pet, and home. If possible, I'd like to stop by while you're home to be introduced to your pet and get a tour. Communication is key and I want you to trust that your pet is getting the best care!
“Lisa is awesome! Communicates so well and we felt so confident while we were gone that our dogs were well-cared for the whole time. She navigated our other instructions so well too. Our one dog is a recently adopted rescue, yet loved her and she understood him and was cool with him, we are so relieved, impressed and thankful!”

“Caroline was a great dog sitter! She was extremely detailed, thorough, sweet with Ruby, and a great communicator. Would love her to take care of Ruby again!”

“Catherine was absolutely wonderful! This was Zuri's first time staying away from home and Catherine went above and beyond to make her feel at home.
