We did a meet and greet with Colleen and Joe and they were wonderful. Dezi immediately took to their great yard and house and they were both so kind and willing to answer any questions and put us at ease. Dezi also loved Nico and it was clear they would be great friends. Dezi just had his first overnight with them and they were very communicative and sent pictures and updates. “Words cannot describe how thankful we are for Izzy. We were able to truly enjoy our vacation knowing that Turkey was being so well cared for. We could fully relax knowing that Turkey was happy and enjoying herself while we were away. Izzy went far beyond any expectations we could have had. Since Turkey is a hairless cat, Izzy had to put on and take off her sweatshirts daily and carefully determine whether the weather was appropriate for walks and outdoor time — which can be tricky given Turkey’s lack of fur and grumpiness! Turkey’s ears also require regular cleaning because they collect wax easily, and Izzy helped us tremendously with that as well. Throughout our trip, we received photos and updates from Izzy, which gave us so much peace of mind. We would recommend Izzy to any family looking for someone who will give special attention, care, and love to their beloved family member. We were away for 9 days, which was the longest we have ever been apart from Turkey. When we returned home, we were amazed by how happy and comfortable Turkey was, and by how consistently Izzy maintained Turkey’s feeding schedule. Most importantly, Izzy is truly a gem of a person. About: I’ve taken care of many different pets my whole life, I grew up with many different pets in my family. I currently have a well trained pet of my own, my friends and family come to me when they are in need of a sitter. I’m currently a part time college student, so I only go to class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, with my remaining time out of school, I have plenty of time to play and hangout with pets! I do not have a fully fenced yard but I do have a gated area on the side of my house. The gated area is big enough for dogs to run and play! I also have a small dog of my own to keep other dogs entertained!
About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! Britt grew up with lots of dogs (and cats), and the whole family has experience caring for animals at all ages. Both Britt and Mike work from home full time, and are able to care for pets throughout the day and night. Our three children are in school and preschool in the neighborhood during the week, giving us several opportunities to go on daily walks. We have a large, fenced in backyard for dogs and our children to share. We do not require dogs to be crated at night or when we are away for short amounts of time. We do have a medium crate if their normal routine includes crating during short times alone at home. Our children are used to being around animals and know how to be gentle and respectful of space.

About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. I work from home most days in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, with 1–2 days a week in the office. On home days I'm available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and check-ins. On office days, your pup will still get a solid morning and evening routine, and plenty of company once I'm back. There's no private yard, but there's a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience caring for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I've been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home a lot and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! One or two days a week, I have to be at the office; I'll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled before I go. On Saturdays, I'm less flexible for check-in and check-out, since I'm away in the morning for volunteer work. I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

About: I’m a college student who had the pleasure to work with the PAWS program at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. My favorite thing in the world is hosting those angels in my residence. I’m currently taking classes mostly Monday and Wednesday morning but when i’m not in school i’m usually at home with the pups. I take a long walk every morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! I prefer to adjust to the owner’s style rather than doing my own way. We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.

Your booking is priority one, and is always completed before other work is done. If you are requesting house sitting, I’ll be with your pet until I have to leave to briefly care for my own pets. If your dog is well behaved, I would have no problem bringing them along with me when I run around town. If you are requesting drop in visits or dog walking, I will be able to attend your home whenever you book me. I’m available throughout the day, up until 10pm. I will be sure your pet is always in sight when going outside, or always on a leash if you do not have a fenced yard. I will take precautions to make sure your animals do not escape when I am entering or exiting the house by being aware of their presence when opening or shutting doors, or making sure to block their potential exits when I am entering or exiting. I will be sure to secure any cages, kennels or enclosures, along with your residence when I leave for any reason, assuring neither your pet will be safe while alone while also not getting into mischief.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats as a service since 2016. Every animal is different so I enjoy speaking with the owners beforehand and getting to bond with critters that are different than mine. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes and love caring for cats. I have cared for Guinea Pigs, chickens, pigs, goats, sheep and cattle as well. Farm sitting outside of the Twin Cities area available on weekends only ( Fri.pm-Sun afternoon). Weekly stays available only in Minneapolis due to full-time employment. I’m available weekends for walks and animal care. I’m a full-time employee so weekday evening walks after 5pm work best for my schedule. Previously, I have stayed overnight to keep the in home animals company and keep the house safe while folks are away. I can clean and bring in the mail. Whatever your expectations are I am happy to accommodate.
