“I asked Barbara to babysit for the first time and it went great. She gave updates and pictures. I really appreciated this. I will definitely be asking Barbara for future babysitting gigs!”

“Kevin and his family are always great with Frankie- she feels right at home with them! He’s very flexible and accommodating with my schedule which is always appreciated.”

“I couldn’t be more grateful for Emily! I booked her last minute, and she went above and beyond in every way. She walked my dog daily, sent tons of updates and photos, and truly treated my dog like her own. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was in such caring hands. I will absolutely be booking with her again—anyone would be lucky to have Emily watch their dogs!”

“Molly is the best! For the first time I left my small shy dog with her for five days and four nights. He did very well! She was very flexible and adapting to his schedule and needs. And thanks to her nice lab, Eddie, for making my Ziggy feel at home.”

“Mckenzie was great and Sukha had a great time! Our plans changed unexpectedly and she was very flexible in accommodating the change to help us while we worked out the logistics to get home.”

“Bowie was great with our French Bulldog. He took extra care for her during this past hot spell and sent daily updates and pictures. It is clear he is truly committed to the animals he cares for.”

“My meet and greet with Betsy was warm and inviting . She made me feel at ease with leaving my three dogs with her. It’s my first time using rover and didn’t know what to expect, but I can sense Betsy is passionate about caring for pets/animals. Communication was smooth and Betsy was prompt to respond each time. I’m thankful Betsey was able to take all three dogs, she updated me routinely with pictures of the activities they did for the day. I would for sure reach out to Betsy again. The dogs enjoyed their stay and had plenty of exercise, stimulation, cuddles and attention. I know my dogs would love to return again. Thank you Betsy and Mark!”
“Good communication and friendly. Our dog was happy and well-cared for. He also spent time with two kids in the house, and they were very respectful of him; playing and loving on him.”
“can't say enough about the care that my dog Moose got from KiirstenC while I traveled over the holiday. ! It was our first experience with Rover. Moose was well fed, played with, snuggled, and truly loved by Kiirstenn and her family. She sent me texts and pictures while I was gone updating me on his activities. Moose is a Shih Tzu, Kiirsten's dog is also a Shih Tzu. She gets us! I can honestly say that I did not worry about Moose all the while I was gone. I would call upon Kiirsten to leave Moose with whenever I need to travel again, knowing he is loved and well taken care of when I cant be with him.”

“Ashlie and her family was able to take care of my giant baby for a week. It was his first time away from me and I was worried as well. But as Ashlie shared updates everyday it helped me feeling relieved and I could enjoy my time away from home. They have a big fenced yard and a senior dog which I felt was a good experience for my puppy as he was afraid of older dogs before meeting him. I could see them cuddling in the pictures and I feel he really enjoyed his stay with them.”

“Catherine was excellent with our dog Misiu! She was incredibly attentive, and sent lots of photos and videos throughout our vacation. She allowed him to snuggle with her in bed, which he’s used to. That was very much appreciated. We will definitely rebook with Catherine. Misiu was a happy boy the entire time, we weren’t missed 😆”

“Jessie was great! She watched my two dogs Violet and Kala and they had a great time and got lots of snuggles. She gave me updates and pictures everyday which really helped put me at ease while I was away.”

“Charlie was great to work with! Ahead of our booking he took care to ensure that my dogs were comfortable at his place and with his dog, and was careful to ask about their behaviors and habits. I felt I was leaving my dogs in good hands, and I was proven right! He even helped me out in a pinch when I forgot to pack a day’s worth of food. I would recommend his services to anyone. Great communication and good care!”

“Rikki & Daniel were great! My dog Stella stayed at their house over a weekend and must have had a good time since she was pooped when we picked her up. Rikki was easy to coordinate with and response time was always quick!”

“My dog loved his stay with Saniya. He came back pooped from playing with her dog all weekend. She sent updates and pictures so I knew my dog was safe and happy. I plan to rebook with her soon!”

“We are truly grateful for Sarah and all that she did for Lilly. She managed Lilly’s anxious temperament and unique medication regimen so responsibly. We couldn’t recommend her more. She sent lots of updates with photos while we were away and that was so kind of her. We hope to have her take care of Lilly in the future!”

“Tim is the most awesome sitter ever. Mia is always treated as family. She has some health issues now, and Tim made sure she got her meds. He takes her on walks everyday, and Mia loves the fenced yard! We use Tim exclusively for our furbaby. We know she is well taken care of and loved. Thank you for above and beyond service my friend!”

“Holly provided exceptional care for our dog Cali over a week-long trip. Cali has difficultly with transitions and being in new spaces without us, but it was clear Holly provided a very safe and loving home away from home for her—going well above and beyond to make sure she was pampered. We are so grateful for Holly in our lives and would highly recommend her.”

“Hyeyoon was wonderful! She followed our dog’s daily routine to a tee and asked such thoughtful questions. We received pictures and updates each day. We will definitely use her again!”

About: Hi there! My name is Arielle; I care a lot about kitties & their wellbeing & I get a lot of joy from being around them. I've grown up with cats my whole life, and now that I'm out on my own I have one myself (Mr. Pickles, a rescue I adopted this year & I'm pretty sure he's my actual son). I work for a pet food company full-time and am able to work from home several days a week (always Mondays and Fridays, and sometimes more). It would be my pleasure to keep your feline friend company and cared for during the day when you can't be with them! I'm available for drop-in visits the days that I am home, or outside of work hours, and on the weekends. Additionally, my own cat is a special guy with a lot of health needs, and thus I am very sympathetic towards and happy to help out with any health-related needs your companion may have! I'm also extremely patient and understand that a cat's trust is something that is earned (I pride myself in achieving belly exposure status). I look forward to discussing how I can help provide your pet with the best care possible while you are out!
“Hannah was very patient and communicative caring for our 3 cats over the Christmas holiday. We are very grateful for her help and professional care and the love she gave the kitties!”

“Great sitter, came by every day to check on my cat and made sure there was always food and water. My car is normally a bit shy but started to be more social after the 1st day which was good to see”

“Angela was amazing with our fur babies. Had her cat sit for a month. She did twice a day visits, cuddles and play times as well as taking care of their food and water. She went above and beyond making sure they got affection, attention, brushed, enjoyed some music as well! She even Vacuumed even though that was not part of the ask! Thank you for the attention given!”

About: Hi - I'm Caitlin, and cats were my first love! I grew up with indoor and outdoor cats throughout my childhood, and there is something special about winning over a cat's love! I've been an active foster with Pet Haven for over a year, and my experience goes well beyond "I like cats." In the past, I've fostered kittens, seniors, shy, and anxious cats, as well as medical cases (including animals who needed daily medication and close health monitoring). I know the difference between a cat who needs space to decompress and one who's genuinely distressed. I know how to earn trust with a shy animal without forcing it. And I know when something seems off. My home is quiet, adults-only, without resident pets (though I will still be occasionally fostering, and may have an overlapping Rover dog boarding) which makes it a lower-stress boarding environment. Cat needing more decompression time get their own dedicated space to settle in on their own terms. I offer overnight boarding, drop-in visits, and in-home sitting. If your cat has medical needs, anxiety, or is just particular, that's not a dealbreaker. The joy of earning a cat's trust is truly unparalleled!

“I love my cat and I felt like Michelle took the time to get to know her so she could take care of her exactly as I asked. I loved the photos and Michelle's flexibility. She's great!”

“Rachel was a fantastic sitter for our two cats. She was extremely understanding and paid great attention to the details for their care. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable sitter.”

“Jennifer gave lots of loving care to my cat while I was away for a week. I would often get pictures of them snuggling and seeing him play happily with his favorite toy. When I arrived back home, my cat seemed happy and was doing well. I’d recommend Jennifer as a cat sitter anytime :)”

“Darwin did an amazing job with Gimpy and ensure that she was well taken care of. She’s a pretty shy cat and was able to warm up to him in the short time I was gone. He took a good amount of pictures and made sure the apartment appeared in order (in addition to what I had requested). Would 10/10 recommend!”

“Tori did a wonderful job again with our two cats. We came home from our vacation and they were happy and well cared for. We will definitely ask Tori for our future bookings!”

“Brooke took WONDERFUL care of my Roo! She is an excellent, considerate communicator, sending detailed updates of Roo’s activities. Roo was happy and relaxed when I returned. THANK YOU, BROOKE!!!”

“Jamie was amazing!! She was so attentive and loving to our cat, Iris, and made sure to give her lots of love. All of the pictures were truly appreciated and made us feel like Iris was in very good hands. We will definitely reach out to Jamie again!!”

“Carla for a great job keeping in touch and consistently coming in to check on Daisy. Getting everything set up with her went smoothly and she was great at communicating. Daisy was well taken care of while I was gone, which gave me peace of mind. Carla is a great pet sitter!”

“Annalise was wonderful with my two furbabies. This was the first time that I have left them for more than three days, and after moving three months ago. She was so patient when the security process at my building was not perfect, and was so communicative throughout the week I was away. I will definitely ask her yo look after Roux and Beignet again!”

About: We're Anna and David, and we live in Minneapolis with our young kid. We would love to watch your dog while you're away! We have a private backyard in a dog-friendly neighborhood – lots of sidewalks, parks, and lakes around. We both enjoy walking, being outside, and doggy snuggles. David grew up with a dog, and Anna grew up with ferrets and has ferret, cat, and dog sat since she was a teenager. We have experience administering medicine to dogs. Our kid is used to being around dogs. We ask that your dog also have experience around kids and be good with them if you consider a stay in our home. As a couple, we had a rescue dog the entirety of our decade-plus long relationship until recently. After the death of our beloved dog, we are not yet ready for a new dog but are missing them in our lives. We look forward to hosting your pup! We both work from home and have flexible schedules. We enjoy the companionship of having a dog around and take regular walks throughout the day. We have a small dog bed and treats. We have space for a crate if necessary. Regular outside time is important for us, and we would include your pup when we are outside whenever possible. Our backyard is partially fenced. If needed, we have a yard stake and leash. We spend a lot of time in our backyard in warmer months, for work, meals, and gatherings and would only keep dogs in the yard if we are out there.

“Kira was a great communicator and sent photos throughout the day. I liked knowing that Bandit had some dog friends but also got more person attention than at a big daycare. He came home tired!”

“So, i was pretty nervous to leave my precious, sick, 4-month-old furbaby with an internet stranger. But we had good conversations beforehand and he had lots of good reviews. Well, the reviews are well deserved! Puppy had a fine time. Howie (and his wife) clearly took great care of her! Would definitely book again. I just need to figure my schedule out.”

“Emilie was so good to my dog, Walter. I felt really comfortable leaving her with him for the whole day. She sent tons of pictures of him while I was at work and said he played all day -- which was perfect! I'm definitely going to be rebooking in the future. :-) Walter was pooped once we got home.”

“My dog Louie had the best day at Emily’s!! Emily works from home and keeps Louie active during the day. He loved playing with her dogs and the long walk he got! Louie will definitely be back!!”

“Joe was amazing! My dog, Chocolate Chip, loved him and his sweet dog Henry. Joe gave me so many great tips as a first-time dog owner and was incredibly accommodating with my work schedule. I felt completely at ease knowing Chip was in such good hands. We will definitely be booking with Joe again soon!”

“Jody takes amazing care of my pup. She is very diligent and caring, and has gone above and beyond for Roma when she has been sick. I trust Jody and continue to bring my dog for regular pet sitting. Jody is great.”

“Jessie took great care of our senior dog! She was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. She sent detailed updates throughout the day and lots of cute photos!”

My dog loves relaxing days with new friends. Pet care is my daily routine because my dog is the most important part of my life. I am available every day because I work and play from home. “I’m beyond thrilled to have found Velma (& Bentley!). I work 12 hour shifts & it can be hard to find people that will accommodate the necessary pickup & drop-off times, Velma was flexible & able to take Kip at the times I needed. Kip practically throws himself out of the car to see Velma now, which lets me know he’s having a great time while he’s with her.”

“Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

“Absolutely incredible experience. Celia was easy to communicate with and sent me pics of my pup throughout the day. I would love to book again - highly recommmend”

About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats over the years. I have had 5 dogs and 6 cats myself in my lifetime. I regularly take care of a 14 year old dachshund. I have been caring for him for over 8 years now. He comes to my place and stays up to a couple of weeks several times a year. My dog and cat both get along with others very well. Deru is the little guys name. He is a diabetic. I have many years of experience giving him his insulin shots and special food needs. I feel I can handle most any pets needs with little or no problems. I have many many references I can share with whoever would like them? I love rescuing dogs and cats. I love trying to help place them in loving homes. I also know many vets in town that would also give me great references as well. I can't think of anything I would rather do with my life than taking care of dogs, and cats!! I have a dog and a cat myself. My dog is a high energy dog so she gets dog park time every day as well as walks around her neighborhood almost daily. I only have a partially fenced yard. However I will not let a clients dog of a leash unless we are at an off leash dog park.

About: Hi, I'm Caitlin! Being a pet parent is special, and I genuinely understand what it means to trust someone with your pet. I lost my 15-year-old dog last year, and that kind of loss changes how you see pet care, and it's exactly why I take this seriously. Every animal in my home gets real attention, a consistent routine, and the kind of care I'd want for my own. My home is a calm, adults-only environment with a fully fenced yard to ensure safe outdoor time, and my neighborhood is a quiet tucked away pocket near Cedar Lake. While I try to board pets only from the same home, there can at times be exceptions (mostly holidays). While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I only confirm stays I can genuinely support. I build the routine around the pet to the best of my ability. I'll ask you what your animal's schedule looks like at home and do my best to mirror it. I know consistency matters! I treat communication as part of the service. You won't wonder how your pet is doing. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. I'll ask you in advance about their routine (feeding schedule, walk preferences, any quirks or triggers) and I follow it to the best of my ability. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I typically do not take overlapping bookings unless the pets are from the same household, but there are sometimes exceptions. At your home: I follow whatever directions you leave. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. For cats especially, in-home sitting is often the lower-stress option, and after a year of fostering, I know how to read a cat who's fine versus one who isn't.
About: I've loved dogs and cats since I was nine, when I got (or made my parents get) my first doggo (Nahla). Later on, I snuck a kitten from my aunts hobby farm into our car, and he’s stayed with us ever since (Vinnie). Nahla and Vinnie are such love bugs, and I absolutely love animals of all kinds (yes, I even have four pet spiders). While I’m new to dog walking/pet sitting as a formal side-job, I bring years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog/cat and those of my extended family. I’m reliable, respectful, and attentive to each animals unique needs and routine, whether that means a calm stroll, pets, or an energetic adventure. I understand that your dog/cat is part of your family, and I treat every walk (drop-in) with that level of care. I’m happy to provide updates, follow instructions closely, and make sure your dog/cat feels safe, loved, and happy every step of the way. I'm currently a PhD student, but during the summer, all of my work is research-based and done remotely. That means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. Pet care fits in naturally -- I love taking breaks from the computer to get outside, stretch my legs, and spend time with my dog (her name is Nahla). Walks and check-ins are easy to plan around my research, and I enjoy the balance it brings to my day. I follow any routines or instructions closely -- whether that means feeding schedules, medications, crate time, or favorite walking routes. I always make sure pets have fresh water, get the exercise and attention they need, and feel relaxed while their people are away. In someone else’s home, I’m respectful of their space and aim to leave everything just as I found it. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos to give peace of mind. My goal is to make things as smooth and stress-free as possible for both pets and their humans
“Darwin is incredibly reliable, and they work very well with our pup Sage. We have been able to rest easy during the work day (and check our pet camera less!), because we know Sage is in good hands with Darwin. They have even taken some time during our booking to reinforce training with Sage!”

“Lauren is such a wonderful person! Very personable, great communication, and she took such great care of my dog Skylar. They went for an hour-long walk around my neighborhood. Skylar looked so happy and was perfectly tired from the exercise. Highly recommend Lauren and will definitely book again!”

“Kiirsten was absolutely amazing with our process! She was kind, attentive, and made sure she got plenty of exercise and love. We received updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

About: I could sit on the floor next to your dog or cat and give them love for hours. They are the sweetest beings in this planet and I love to interact with them! I don’t have specialized training in pet care, but I do have years of experience dog-sitting and have a cat of my own who I adore. Hire me for a job well done and a low price, because I love long walks! I work in the orchestra so my schedule varies week to week but my hours are never long. Generally I am available before 10am and after 3:30pm with a hour break 12:30-1:30. Some days like Mondays and Fridays I am available all day. Most of August I am not working and am free anytime. I’m also happy to come to you if you need an overnight sitter. I offer care in clients’ homes, which means that I want your pet to receive the utmost care without you noticing that I was ever there. I will always leave things as clean and organized as possible.
“Daisy loves animals and is very kind. She does this work because she likes it not because she has to . She is easy to work with, responsible and trustworthy. You couldn’t ask for more.”

“Kayla was a life saver for me this past week! I typically work from home but was traveling for work - so Kayla came over during the workdays to take Barley for a walk. She was flexible, responsive, and loving towards my two-year-old golden. She even offered to bring Barley a raincoat when it was raining one day the days! I will definitely be using Kayla again on my next work trip!”

“Vida seemed very happy and at least slightly tired (not an easy feat for an 8 month old vizsla!) when I got home. It looked like she had a good time with Laura, and I was happy that I was kept in the loop! We'll definitely be repeat customers.”

“Grace is so professional, and does above and beyond the required dog walking duties. She’s stepped in during off times, dropped off a “sample” to the vet’s office, and is giving my pup, needed training. She’s the best!”

“Hailey has been amazing with walking my reactive terrier mix. She is knowledgeable about dog temperments and body language, and keeps an eye out for my dog's reactivity triggers. She is super prompt, communicative and goes above and beyond to meet my dog's needs. Cannot reccomend her enough!”

“Our dogs had another fantastic stay with Daisy, and we truly can’t thank her and her family enough. We were away from home for a while this time, which is always a bit stressful when you have four dogs, but knowing they were with Daisy made it so much easier for us to leave them. The updates we received were wonderful and really put our minds at ease—we could see exactly how happy and comfortable they felt. One of our dogs has been like glue to Daisy’s dog, Kofta, ever since they met. They are inseparable and it is the cutest thing! Kofta is such a good-natured dog that even our other pups felt comfortable enough to play with him. We were also so grateful for the specialized attention given to our 15-year-old boy. Because he needs more quiet time, Daisy was very mindful to keep him separate so he could have his own peaceful space to rest. It is rare to find someone who can balance the needs of a senior dog while managing a high-energy group so well. We truly appreciate her thoughtfulness and highly recommend her!”

“Soooo great to have Jessica and Grant's good care when I went on vacation. They are fun, friendly and great to work with. My dog came home happy and I LOVED the pix and updates. Thank you! I'll definitely reach out again!”

“Kyle and Jacquie are amazing! Our dog is always well cared for and has clearly had a good time! They are excellent communicators and flexible when needed!”

“Anika took wonderful care of my nervous pup Freddy! I loved the pictures and updates throughout his stay and it felt so good to be confident that Freddy was so well taken care of while I was away. Freddy will definitely be staying with her again in the future!!”

“Promise and her family were awesome! Great communication and care of my Betty. Highly recommend and looking forward to some play dates with Betty’s new buddies. She’s very kind and I did not worry at all leaving her in her care. I love that Betty and Promise’s daughter bonded 😁 GREAT sitter!”

“Gigi took excellent care of my dog, Charlie, for an extended stay. He got time outside and lots of love and care in a new situation. We got updates, pictures and videos to keep us updated.”
