“Winnie had another great stay with Kiirsten! We always know she is in good hands with her, and gets to have a ball running around a big backyard and playing with her kids. Thank you, Kiirsten!”

“Barbara took great care of my bichon, Marvin. She was very accommodating with an early drop-off time and she was very flexible and understanding when my return flight home had a significant delay. I loved the photos and updates. Clearly, Marvin was having a good time. I couldn't have asked for anything more!”

“Catherine was excellent with our dog Misiu! She was incredibly attentive, and sent lots of photos and videos throughout our vacation. She allowed him to snuggle with her in bed, which he’s used to. That was very much appreciated. We will definitely rebook with Catherine. Misiu was a happy boy the entire time, we weren’t missed 😆”

“Jessie was great! She watched my two dogs Violet and Kala and they had a great time and got lots of snuggles. She gave me updates and pictures everyday which really helped put me at ease while I was away.”

“Joayne and her children are the perfect home-away-from-home for my pug. They take such good care of him and give him lots of love. He loves them back! I’m so grateful they are providing this service.”

“I can’t recommend Brooke enough! This was Archie’s first stay with a sitter since our move, and I was honestly so nervous leaving him. From the moment I met her, I knew he was in great hands. She kept me updated throughout his stay, and it was such a relief knowing he was safe, loved, and treated like one of her own. Archie settled in so well, ate all of his meals, and even made himself at home (including sleeping in bed with her 😂), which says so much about the environment she provides. As a flight attendant, finding someone I can truly trust with my dog while I’m away is invaluable, and I’m so incredibly thankful I found Brooke. She is kind, communicative, and genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. Archie came home happy, relaxed, and I already know she’ll be my go-to sitter moving forward. If you’re looking for someone to care for your pet like family, I wholeheartedly recommend her! Thank you again, Brooke! ❤️”

“I couldn’t be more grateful for Emily! I booked her last minute, and she went above and beyond in every way. She walked my dog daily, sent tons of updates and photos, and truly treated my dog like her own. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pup was in such caring hands. I will absolutely be booking with her again—anyone would be lucky to have Emily watch their dogs!”

“Rikki & Daniel were great! My dog Stella stayed at their house over a weekend and must have had a good time since she was pooped when we picked her up. Rikki was easy to coordinate with and response time was always quick!”

“Holly provided exceptional care for our dog Cali over a week-long trip. Cali has difficultly with transitions and being in new spaces without us, but it was clear Holly provided a very safe and loving home away from home for her—going well above and beyond to make sure she was pampered. We are so grateful for Holly in our lives and would highly recommend her.”

“Timothy was a lifesaver! He went to my friend's house to pick up my keys and then dropped by and picked up Saffy for me as I was hospitalized. It all came together so perfectly, and I didn't have to worry. In addition, he knows about dog behavior and his other pups got along well with Saffy. It couldn't have been better! 🤘”

“Allie was very responsive to every message. She was very personable during our interactions and her dog Duke was very friendly. She updated me once a day on how my dog was doing and in the end when I needed to extend the service for another day she was flexible with the change and it worked out great. Definitely will schedule with her again.”

“Koda had a great time with Alyssa and her pup! I have such a hard time leaving her, but I felt comfortable and better very quickly because of Alyssa. I was so confident in her, and I got such great updates throughout the trip (of Koda having the best time!). My mind was completely at ease, and Koda ended up having her own great vacation! I couldn't recommend Alyssa enough.”

“Jeff was a great dog watcher, communicator and helpful on staying in touch during my trip. I’d highly recommend his services for anyone that wants a trusted source.”

I also appreciated her flexibility, taking on a last-minute assignment and then coming back an additional day than we had planned for. I could tell that my picky cat connected with Hannah right away and that she was happy in the photos Hannah sent. We would happily have her back!”

“Darwin did an excellent job taking care of our cat, Mr. Face. Even though Mr. Face was stand offish, Darwin went out of his way to make him feel safe. Even dropping in an extra time to see if treats would help. We would definitely rebook with Darwin.”

About: We're Anna and David, and we live in Minneapolis with our young kid. We would love to watch your dog while you're away! We have a private backyard in a dog-friendly neighborhood – lots of sidewalks, parks, and lakes around. We both enjoy walking, being outside, and doggy snuggles. David grew up with a dog, and Anna grew up with ferrets and has ferret, cat, and dog sat since she was a teenager. We have experience administering medicine to dogs. Our kid is used to being around dogs. We ask that your dog also have experience around kids and be good with them if you consider a stay in our home. As a couple, we had a rescue dog the entirety of our decade-plus long relationship until recently. After the death of our beloved dog, we are not yet ready for a new dog but are missing them in our lives. We look forward to hosting your pup! We both work from home and have flexible schedules. We enjoy the companionship of having a dog around and take regular walks throughout the day. We have a small dog bed and treats. We have space for a crate if necessary. Regular outside time is important for us, and we would include your pup when we are outside whenever possible. Our backyard is partially fenced. If needed, we have a yard stake and leash. We spend a lot of time in our backyard in warmer months, for work, meals, and gatherings and would only keep dogs in the yard if we are out there.

“Gabriella was great with our guinea pigs! We saw she has experience with bunnies and hamsters and knew we could trust her with our boys. She was very responsive, leaving report cards and photos of our guinea pigs behavior and how they were faring. 10/10 would have her sit again.”

“Annalise took such great care of our cat! She was communicative and responsive and we felt totally at ease knowing she was there. It was clear how comfortable our cat was with her. We’ll definitely work with Annalise again in the future!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brooke. My husband and I went overseas and I was very concerned about leaving our kitties with someone that they did not know. Brooke stepped in and took fantastic care of them. She was with them often played with them, took lots of photos and videos of them and they really fell in love with her. I will always use Brooke going forward and never be worried about leaving again. Thanks so much Brooke. You’re awesome.”

“Andy has watched our cats a few times - they're always happy when we get home, and we can tell they are happy to see Andy when she comes to take care of them. We have some very specific health and food needs and she does a great job managing this while we are away, which means a ton to us. Thank you Andy!”

“Tori was attentive and kept everything in order while I was away. Sometimes the cats protest my being gone by knocking things over. There was none of that, since they got lots of love and attention from Tori! So comforting to have my fur babies well taken care of while I was away.”

About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats over the years. I have had 5 dogs and 6 cats myself in my lifetime. I regularly take care of a 14 year old dachshund. I have been caring for him for over 8 years now. He comes to my place and stays up to a couple of weeks several times a year. My dog and cat both get along with others very well. Deru is the little guys name. He is a diabetic. I have many years of experience giving him his insulin shots and special food needs. I feel I can handle most any pets needs with little or no problems. I have many many references I can share with whoever would like them? I love rescuing dogs and cats. I love trying to help place them in loving homes. I also know many vets in town that would also give me great references as well. I can't think of anything I would rather do with my life than taking care of dogs, and cats!! I have a dog and a cat myself. My dog is a high energy dog so she gets dog park time every day as well as walks around her neighborhood almost daily. I only have a partially fenced yard. However I will not let a clients dog of a leash unless we are at an off leash dog park.
“Paul and Teri are the absolute best! They’ve taken care of Rosie twice now and have been so sweet and accommodating. Rosie has a hard time getting used to men and Paul is very patient and sweet with her. I can tell it’s a good day when she comes home exhausted from playing! thank you both very much!”

With 8 years in animal welfare, I understand behavior and emotions, including noise fears, nervousness with new people, leash reactivity, shy/timid, resource guarding, seniors, puppies, and special needs pets. I also care for cats of all personalities independent explorers, playful toy lovers, and devoted snugglers. My goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, stress free home where they feel truly cared for while you're away. Each dog in my care receives personalized attention and love. For daycare and boarding, I limit to two dogs at a time to ensure quality care while they are in a new environment. I’m happy to provide photo updates, and our home is fully prepared for play, rest, and supervision. I’m home during the day, which allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and enrichment. Potential clients are always welcome to schedule a video home tour to see the setup and environment their pet would be in. My home allows for kenneling if needed, and I can provide large and extra large crates. I also offer separate spaces for feeding time and am located near several nearby parks for walks. For cats, I can provide a quiet, separate space if they need time to decompress. In addition to care in my home, I also offer house sitting so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routines. “Marisa did a great job handling three-month-old Basie’s first time away from his home and family. She even took the time to do a meet-and-greet between her dog and Basie ahead of time to make sure they would get along together. She also made sure that Basie had fun and got to do some safe exploring and socializing. I would definitely feel comfortable having her look after Basie in the future.”

About: Hi, I'm Caitlin! Being a pet parent is special, and I genuinely understand what it means to trust someone with your pet. I lost my 15-year-old dog last year, and that kind of loss changes how you see pet care, and it's exactly why I take this seriously. Every animal in my home gets real attention, a consistent routine, and the kind of care I'd want for my own. My home is a calm, adults-only environment with a fully fenced yard to ensure safe outdoor time, and my neighborhood is a quiet tucked away pocket near Cedar Lake. While I try to board pets only from the same home, there can at times be exceptions (mostly holidays). While my main living area is on one level, there are stairs required to get into the home via the front door. I also welcome & love cats. I've been fostering through Pet Haven for over a year, so I understand what a cat actually needs in a new space (spoiler: it's not just food and good vibes), and how to introduce pets to a decompression space and other pets they are not familiar with. I keep my roster intentionally small so I can give every animal genuine attention, not assembly-line pet care. You'll get photos and updates throughout, so you can actually enjoy your time away. If you want someone who treats your pets the way you would, please send me a message! I'm currently in between jobs, which means I have maximum flexibility for mid-day walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I only confirm stays I can genuinely support. I build the routine around the pet to the best of my ability. I'll ask you what your animal's schedule looks like at home and do my best to mirror it. I know consistency matters! I treat communication as part of the service. You won't wonder how your pet is doing. At my home: As often as possible I try to start every stay with a meet-and-greet so your pet arrives already familiar with the space and with me. I'll ask you in advance about their routine (feeding schedule, walk preferences, any quirks or triggers) and I follow it to the best of my ability. My home is calm, adults-only, and has a fully fenced yard for dogs. For cats, I set up a dedicated decompression space so they can settle in at their own pace. I typically do not take overlapping bookings unless the pets are from the same household, but there are sometimes exceptions. At your home: I follow whatever directions you leave. I'll send photo updates so you know things are normal, and I'll flag anything that seems off rather than wait until you're home. For cats especially, in-home sitting is often the lower-stress option, and after a year of fostering, I know how to read a cat who's fine versus one who isn't.

About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole life, from kittens to seniors, and since I was 12 I’ve watched my friends and neighbors dogs as well. I’ve given both cats and dogs medication as well as bottle fed them if they were too young for solid food. I have an incredibly flexible hybrid work schedule! Whatever you or your pets needs, I will be able to meet them without any work conflicts. You know your pet better than anyone. Whatever instructions you give me to keep them safe, happy, and healthy, I promise to follow exactly. I love animals and my schedule is very flexible, so whenever your needs are, I will do my absolute best to meet them!
About: i’ve been dog walking and pet sitting for two years, in addition I have my own five-year-old pup who I raised and means the world to me. I am patient and dependable, and will always treat your pet with the same attention and love I would want for my own! I am available weekdays and weekends and have flexible hours so I can accommodate if needed, but preferably mornings or afternoons and evenings work best! I have a friendly medium sized dog if they enjoy company otherwise I live right next to a park that they can have long or short leash walks in a very nice area!

“Paul picked up Abby right on time, and reported that her walk and play time with Nessie went splendidly. The pictures were a great addition. We schedule a redo this week.”
“Daisy loves animals and is very kind. She does this work because she likes it not because she has to . She is easy to work with, responsible and trustworthy. You couldn’t ask for more.”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since i was born. i trained my dog since she was 10 weeks and she wound up having very good recall and other skills like “touch” and “kennel”. she crossed the rainbow bridge 2 years ago and i’ve been needing some dog time since. she was very reactive and anxious at times so i have a very firm grasp on dog body language, and how to make them feel safe and comfortable. i have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes and am always happy to help with training and maintaining skills. I work night shift in the ER so depending on the day I’m either sleeping during the day or up later in the day. On my days off i’m usually free between 12pm and 11pm. On the days I work I’m free usually between 4pm and 9pm. I work every other weekend and alternating weekdays. I love making any pets feel comfortable and safe, and I do this by paying attention to their body language and the messages they’re sending me. I make sure my pets are well fed, well exercised, and feeling content with their living situation.

“We’re first-time Rover users and we had a wonderful experience with Carolina. Our shy dog Gracie took to her immediately and Carolina sent us photos and a video so we knew Gracie was comfortable going on walks and hanging on the couch with her. Would totally board with her again.”

“From the moment we dropped off the pups we knew they were going to be in good of hands and receive the best care from McKenzie! One of our dogs can be very high maintenance/energy and she did an incredible job making sure he was thoroughly tired out each day. We will look her up again if we ever need sitting in the future!”

“Robert was great with our family dog Izzy. She is truly a member of our family and we always feel bad leaving her behind when we go out of town and Robert did a wonderful job sending pictures and videos to let us know how she is doing. Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“Anika and Kaiser were the best companions for our dog Lenny while we were on vacation. Anika’s yard was large and the perfect place for Lenny to run. Anika was always so quick to respond and we felt so safe leaving Lenny in her hands. Would highly recommend!”

“Our dog Rio had a BLAST with Rachelle and Dan. They were very detailed oriented when it came to Rio’s special needs. They also sent the perfect amount of updates and pictures throughout the stay. Definitely will book again!”

“Julie did a great job caring for my dog while we were away for a week. She has a very spacious backyard for dogs to roam and she’s able to give the care and attention your dog needs. I have peace of mind knowing my dog is in good hands when she needs boarding 🙂”

“Alyson did a great job taking care of Olivia. She did a great job. Olivia is older and has to go outside several times a day. I will be using Alyson again in March and would highly recommend her for care of your pets!”
