About: I was introduced to my first kitty at 5 months old, she became my second sister and we grew up together. I have loved all cats since that first interaction, and simply the presence of a happy cat brings me joy. My second kitty had cancer and needed a caretaker post-surgery, so I have experience in cones, medication, and post-op care. In addition, I have taken care of pregnant mamas and her kittens after birth, as well as multiple senior cats. Overall, whether a cat is high or low energy and/or high or low maintenance, I am just happy to be around!

About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! Britt grew up with lots of dogs (and cats), and the whole family has experience caring for animals at all ages. Both Britt and Mike work from home full time, and are able to care for pets throughout the day and night. Our three children are in school and preschool in the neighborhood during the week, giving us several opportunities to go on daily walks. We have a large, fenced in backyard for dogs and our children to share. We do not require dogs to be crated at night or when we are away for short amounts of time. We do have a medium crate if their normal routine includes crating during short times alone at home. Our children are used to being around animals and know how to be gentle and respectful of space.

About: I’m a college student who had the pleasure to work with the PAWS program at the University Of Minnesota which helps people meet animals safely. It helped me educate more people about how pets support mental health and wellbeing. My favorite thing in the world is hosting those angels in my residence. I’m currently taking summer classes but when im not in school i’m usually pretty free. I walk everyday in the morning so i usually like to have a buddy to accompany me! I prefer to adjust to the owner’s style rather than doing my own way. I’ve learned that cats and dogs especially can get pretty uncomfortable with sudden changes to their routines and schedules.
About: We LOVE dogs and have a city sized house full of people that love giving them attention! We have 2 school age children but are home full time in the summer with a good sized fenced backyard and our own friendly pups, Oli and Lulu. We go back to our full-time jobs as educators on August 25, so our calendar reflects our school year availability (mostly weekends and some school breaks!) I (Kara) grew up always having a dog in the family, and as soon as I could, I acquired one of my own. I've learned that dogs need people, but people need dogs just as much. About: I work from home and attend university online as well. So I will be with my furry friends 24/7. I never really leave them alone. When I doggy sit, I've always thought of them as my own while they are around. While I have them, I get to play with them, walk around and get my walks in, enjoy Netflix on the couch, and more importantly naps and cuddles together! When I walk them, I am always aware of other dogs and I'm always protective of "my" dogs, unless I know for sure the other dog/s are super nice. I love a happy dog. My partner can tell you I cry easily when I see a suffering animal of any kind, especially dogs. So If I'm doggy sitting, I make sure they know love. I work from home so this would be a great opportunity for me to make extra money but to also have a dog around. My two cats, Felix and Oscar, past away recently (they had a great 20 years!) and I miss having a pet buddy around. I've been a regular dog sitter for my friends (shout out to Jake the shy but awesome boston terrier, Kingsley the lovable and kind pit bull and Gus Gus the instagram famous french bull dog!) So, I know this will be a great opportunity for me. I work from home and attend university online so I am home 24/7. Unless it's an emergency, I will be with your dog ALL the time I'm with them. I love and follow instructions very well and in detail pertaining to the dogs' specific care given to me. I ALWAYS send daily photos and messages with updates about the dogs.

While I don’t have any pets of my own, I am my community’s right-hand-gal when it comes to pet care. Amy was also very easily able to accommodate for my dog’s allergy to chicken and gave him some oral medication from our vet.
