Debbie’s house has a great fenced back yard so the dogs can run and play. She has dog beds throughout the house and cool house on hot summer days for the dogs. About: What dogs love about spending time with us: 1) They have a sense of comfort & trust. I am always attentive with them, since I work from home and have worked in (human) emergency rooms and psychiatric facilities so handle chaos well. 2) My lifestyle is flexible based on what they prefer (long walks or relaxing) and they usually have 2 people available 3) my apartment faces S/SE and gets sun throughout the day. Dogs seem to LOVE sunbathing. 4) I am close to downtown parks and 3 blocks from the new section of the waterfront. High energy dogs needing exercise as well as dogs with a lot of various anxieties & prefer being with someone all day. Senior dogs and puppies (outside of newborns). While there are no other animals currently in my home, I have had my own dogs for nearly twenty years and been around various small and medium/large dogs for over a decade. I enjoy taking care of dogs, walking, playing, feeding, and bathing. I even trim my parent's dogs hair. I live in a one bedroom apartment so likely a better fit for small to medium dogs. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time to watch your loved ones while you’re away. We have an active but relaxed home. We currently have one extremely friendly, well socialized shepherd mix dog who gets along with every dog he meets. Over the years I’ve cared for friends’ and family’s dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My kids love dogs and are able to let new dog friends acclimate without pestering. We walk the neighborhood every night and play in the backyard. I am a stay at home mom with elementary aged kids. Especially during the school year, I am almost always at home. My husband also works full time from home so there is always someone here to keep an eye on things. We have a great schedule in place for our dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding. We have a fully fenced back yard and a lovely neighborhood full of sidewalks to go on long evening walks. In our home, dogs are part of the family. They are allowed on the couch and sleep in our bedroom. Our dog has a nice schedule for feeding and going potty and he loves sunbathing on the back patio.

About: Hello! I’ve had dogs my entire life and recently moved to Vancouver from San Francisco, where I provided pet care through Rover. I’m excited to continue caring for dogs here and look forward to giving your pet the same love, attention, and reliable care I would give my own. I work from home full time, giving me the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable care for your pet throughout the day. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet your furry friend! At home, I take breaks from my work from home job to take my roomie's dog (or yours!) out for walks every few hours and to get some fresh air.
About: As an experienced pet owner that just loves animals, I would be honored to care for your pet. I have experience with all types of animals including cats, bunnies, lizards and chickens, but my all time favorite pets are the tail-wagging goofballs that are dogs. My dog Mochi is my best friend, and I promise to give your pet the same love and attention that Mochi receives. I am home during the day and pets can go out on their schedule. I am happy to let your pet stay here with us, but I know some dogs are more comfortable at home. In that case, I can stay at your home with the dog or just do drop ins as needed. I am available for walks or trips to the dog park as well. Whatever your pup needs, I am happy to accommodate! I currently don’t work outside the home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can walk your dog on their schedule so they can stick to their own routine. I have a dog at home, and he is used to us having visitors. If I stay at your home, Mochi will need to be with me, and he’s very experienced with this.

“Debbie, Spoiled our Golden retriever -Chloe. Chloe immediately felt at home with Debbie and her dog Sammy. We got daily update’s and picture’s . Debbie’s house has a great fenced back yard so the dogs can run and play. She has dog beds throughout the house and cool house on hot summer days for the dogs. Highly recommend Debbie and will continue to rebook with her in the future.”

I felt comfortable to go ahead and schedule two overnights with Danielle for him during my next work trip. Things I love about Danielle are that she really pays attention to what you say, the details. She is straightforward and not afraid to express any concerns (such as safety of certain types of collars etc.) Her communication has been excellent. She walks every day with multiple dogs and the pack is such an enjoyable place for my dog. I'm not inundated with photos, but, receive just enough to know he's doing well!
