“Sam is my go-to Rover whenever I need help with Angel, and I can’t recommend her enough! She takes such amazing care of Angel, treating her like her own. When I travel, I’m always at ease knowing Angel is in great hands. I’ll always have nothing but great things to say about Sam. Thank you again, Sam!”

“I feel so lucky that Leah and Chris are going to be taking care of my senior dog in a few weeks. We had a meet & greet and a trial sleepover. Although that trial was just a few hours, they sent lots of sweet photos and my guy was clearly being well cared for. Chris & Leah were focused on his comfort and well-being. It brings me invaluable peace knowing I can take my trip out of state for a week and leave my darling boy with such caring and attentive people.”

“Emily was so great with my girls. I got regular updates and pics, and felt confident that my doggos were in good hands. My elderly pug has some health issues, and has some doggy-dementia issues. But Emily took great care of her. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Haleigh sent lots of pictures and info about Phoebe. She was very patient with our pup's anxiety and food issues. Phoebe was happy and healthy at pickup. Thanks, Haleigh.”

“We LOVED our experience with Jennifer! She was wonderful with our sweet Luna. She sent updates with photos to assure us that Lu was very comfortable with her, her family and family pets. There's nothing better than to find someone who clearly loves animals and takes such great care. Highly recommend her!”

“Amber provided excellent care. Otis had a great time! We wanted Otis to experience more socialization with other dogs and he had two days of fun and playing with Amber and her family. Her location is perfect for travel out of PDX.”

“We absolutely will use Jared again. Our dog is 13 and takes meds 3 times a day. This is the first time we have left him with someone that wasn’t family or a close friend, but Jared did great. We lived all the pictures and could tell Ollie was living his best life!”

“I am so grateful for the care Araceli provided! From the start, she completely reassured me and made me feel at ease leaving my dog in her hands. She was incredibly professional and attentive, giving me total peace of mind. Most importantly, my dog came home spotless, full of energy, and clearly very well-loved. It is such a relief to find a sitter I can truly trust to be observant and caring. We will definitely be booking with Araceli again!”

“My girls loved Brenda and her dogs and they had a great stay at her house. I received photos every day, I could tell they were well loved and they came home pretty tired. We’ll definitely use her again.”

“Elaine was great at taking care of my dog. I was away for 2 weeks on a trip and my usual sitter could not watch her for one of the weeks. Elaine kept me informed and sent some photos. Definitely would recommend.”

“Lajetta was an amazing sitter for our doggy. She is super kind and loving. She made sure to keep us updated and sent lots of photos! I would definitely use her services again!”

“Such a great experience! Matt and his wife were very accommodating to my last minute plans to have a sitter for my corgi, and they were very flexible with her pick-up time the next day as well. They have a beautiful, large backyard for the dogs to run around in and they even sent me pictures of Bonnie lounging on their couch. Wonderful people and I will definitely be seeking them out again the next time I make a trip to that area.”

“Paul (and Arnel) took great care of Rosie and provided me daily updates of all their adventures! She was in great hands and he was an excellent communicator! Loved all the pictures and news of her daily life.”

“We are so thankful to have found Debbie! We were planning a 2 week vacation and didn't want to board our pup at a normal boarding facility. Enter Debbie. She cared for Wheeler like her own dog, and we knew he was in good hands while we were traveling. She sent daily updates and photos, typically multiple times a day. When traveling internationally, and in a different time zone, the peace of mind we felt helped us enjoy our trip even more. I'm pretty sure Wheeler was a little sad to leave. We definitely recommend Debbie and will definitely be boarding with her again!”

“Lisa is such a kind, easy going, and thoughtful person. She takes the time to learn and carry out your pet’s care instructions, and also sent photos + well being updates every day. The best part of Lisa’s care was seeing Rooster so happy and content in her home, not rushing out the door when we arrived to pick him up. She has a perfect home away from home!”
“Great people who take very good care of our golden doodle . They have huge backyard and good communication with the owners. Will be booking again. Our dog was happy”

“Our dog Stella had a wonderful time staying with Margaret (who goes by Caitlin) and family. She seemed very happy when we picked her up, and we got great updates while we were away. Caitlin was also super flexible about pickup when we had a setback getting home, which was so helpful. Would absolutely have Stella stay with her again!”

“Kate was professional from the very beginning with timely and open communication before even booking. It’s clear she has a lot of experience with cat sitting. I didn’t worry once about my pet during my vacation and my pet is reactive and scared of strangers. I would recommend and rebook without doubt.”

“Tayla took incredible care of my Emmy Lou while I was away for almost 2 weeks! She was attentive, communicative, and on time and it was clearly evident through her updates that Emmy really enjoyed her visits. I can't recommend Tayla enough and I'll definitely be inquiring about her services if I'm away again and need a sitter!”

“Sadie was so helpful making daily drop-ins on our cat, while we were away. She was gracious in having to clean up quite a few messes he made, she made sure his food, water, and litter box were kept fresh, and she spent some time with him each day to keep him from getting too lonely. She was very easy to communicate with during our trip. Thank you, Sadie for taking such good care of our kitty!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jared is exceptional. Jared took wonderful care of my two dogs, Sebastian and Francesca, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment we connected, his communication was clear, thoughtful, and reassuring. He was attentive to their needs, patient, and genuinely kind, exactly the kind of person you hope to find when trusting someone with your fur babies. Sebastian and Francesca were happy, calm, and clearly well cared for when I picked them up, which speaks volumes. It’s obvious Jared takes his role seriously and treats animals with real respect and care, not just as a job but as a responsibility. I would absolutely trust him again without hesitation and highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate, top-tier pet care. Thank you, Jared🌹you truly went above and beyond.”

“Storm takes a bit of time to get comfortable in new environments with new people, but she seemed to settle in easily with Gil and Peaches! We are so thankful they are patient with her separation anxiety and welcome her on daycare days!”

About: I am a nurse, but I have always wanted to work with dogs, and I see this Pet Care opportunity as a chance to fulfill my childhood dream. I'm thrilled with this pet care opportunity because of my deep love for animals. I believe my nursing experience will be valuable, as caring for patients has taught me compassion and attention to detail, which I hope to bring to the pets in your care. I would love to contribute to your team and learn from your experiences in pet care. Thank you for considering me, and I look forward to connecting and sharing our mutual enthusiasm for animals. I am happy to adjust my schedule if needed to help out, so please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific times. Looking forward to your response. I understand how important your pet is to you, and I am committed to providing attentive, loving care that ensures their safety, comfort, and happiness at all times. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I strive to engage with animals in ways that help them feel secure and appreciated, including maintaining familiar routines. My home features a spacious, fenced yard where we enjoy daily walks and playing fetch. I have experience caring for my own pet, Macy and in my childhood other animals such as parrots, fishes, and even a monkey. One of my favorite moments with dogs is play fetch—seeing their excitement always reminds me just how rewarding caring for animals can be. I take my responsibilities seriously and am always eager to learn more about each pet’s unique personality and age. To help maintain a safe environment, I kindly ask that your dog be protected with Simparica or a similar product recommended by your preferred veterinarian, such as Frontier, which guards against ticks and fleas Please let me know if you have any specific concerns, preferences, or special requests. I am open to feedback and happy to adapt to your pet's unique needs and routines. I am available for a meeting any day this week to discuss your loved one’s requirements, and after our meeting I will tailor my care to your pet’s needs. Thank you again for entrusting me with this important responsibility. I look forward to meeting you and your pet, and to providing compassionate care that brings you peace of mind.

About: What dogs love about spending time with us: 1) They have a sense of comfort & trust. I am always attentive with them, since I work from home and have worked in (human) emergency rooms and psychiatric facilities so handle chaos well. 2) My lifestyle is flexible based on what they prefer (long walks or relaxing) and they usually have 2 people available 3) my apartment faces S/SE and gets sun throughout the day. Dogs seem to LOVE sunbathing. 4) I am close to downtown parks and 3 blocks from the new section of the waterfront. Giving them a variety of smells each day. 5) For you - I’m a decent photographer and enjoy getting shots that showcase your dog’s unique personality Specific experience: terriers, Maltese, shih tzu, poodles, spaniels. High energy dogs needing exercise as well as dogs with a lot of various anxieties & prefer being with someone all day. Senior dogs and puppies (outside of newborns). While there are no other animals currently in my home, I have had my own dogs for nearly twenty years and been around various small and medium/large dogs for over a decade. I enjoy taking care of dogs, walking, playing, feeding, and bathing. I even trim my parent's dogs hair. I live in a one bedroom apartment so likely a better fit for small to medium dogs. If you need a recurring service would love to build a relationship with your dog so he feels comfortable visiting someone he knows. Reach out for any questions! My partner and I work from home and do not have pets, so I would love to spend time with them! At least one of us is home most of the time. If we leave it’s for a couple hours at a time, max. And are open to bring the dog if it’s not hot. I live in an apartment and do not have any pets. I would be able to visit homes or other apartments to care for pets.I am able to spend a lot of them with them and walk them around the neighborhood or park depending on their energy level. They will receive a lot of love!

About: I grew up with a black lab for nearly 14 years as a child and come from a family of Labrador lovers. I now take care of my own gentle giant black lab who I got to train as a service animal myself. I also have experience with high-energy dogs and running off energy! I am very loving and passsionate person towards dogs, they love my ear and belly rubs and often love to cuddle if that's their thing! My favorite things to do with dogs is taking them for adventures to the park/forest, river/lakes and the snow during wintertime. I am no stranger to labrador breeds but also have experince with Shepard and border collie breeds the most, as well as many others here and there. I've had my fair share of sick dogs, whether it be ear infection to cancer and know the emotional roller coaster and/or hassle of giving medications and can show the dogs lots of empathy if this is something that would be needed. I always treat dogs like their my own and would want the best for your pup just like I would for my own girl! I work non-traditional hours which means I frequently have a lot of days off in a row and then work once a week with 12 hrs in one day. This means I get to spend a lot of one-on-one with my personal dog, providing lots of attention, walks to the park and even days at the river and wouldnt mind some more company from other dogs as well! I live in pet friendly Tiny home with a friendly yard to roam and play. My own dog loves to cuddle on my couch whenever and can certainly share the space with another dog. I do have a cooling mat and a separate pillow for my dog, so there is no shortage of comfy spaces. I love to cuddle with the pups when I can if that's their thing and giving them lots of attention while I care for them.
“Cassie, is amazing! Our dog gets soooo excited to see her when she comes. She has been so flexible and adaptive to our dogs needs. I know she is in good hands when we are away!!!”

“I am so very pleased with my experience using Ching for the first time to walk my 2 small dogs while I was at a convention. She was very responsive, sent me photos and updates, even letting me know that one of my dogs who has had previous leg surgery was not up to a full walk, so she carried her for a bit. I really appreciated the peace of mind knowing that my pups were happy and well looked after while I couldn’t be home. Thank you!!”

“Steele is great at communicating! My dog warmed up to him so quickly. I have a hectic work schedule and he has been so kind about being flexible to make it over for a walk/potty break.”

“Emily did great for a first meeting and walk with our pup. She can be slow to warm up and Emily was patient and very honest and communicative with how the visit went. Appreciate the extra step of cleaning up a mess our kitties made that wasn’t on the bill!”

“So grateful to find Shannon in a pinch today. She was so awesome easy pick up easy drop off and I seem to like rocket loved her.. would definitely book her again in the future”

About: I've had a lot of experiences taking care of dogs and cats the maximum number I've taken care of is 3 dogs and 2 cats at one time! I enjoy going for walks and hikes and sometimes runs. I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. Im used to walking my chocolate lab and German Shepard, pitbull mix together. My German Shepard mix has a lot of anxiety and we have been working with a dog trainer and a behavioralist to work with his reactivity as well as his anxiety. I’m very comfortable with dogs with reactivity and anxiety as well as dogs that are big jumpers. I’ve dog sat for dogs such as chihuahuas, labs, border collies, beagles, pugs, springer spaniels, German Shepard’s and mutts. I have a lot of patience for dogs that are shy and take some time to warm up. I have experience using prong collars, gentle leads, and harnesses. I also have worked with many puppies in training and would be happy to implement any training methods you are using. I also love cats and have a lot of experience with shy and timid cats as well. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I’m currently working from home with a very flexible schedule and have plenty of times available for walks and drop in visits. I have 3 pets of my own though and can’t stay overnight or do boarding at my house. If your dog enjoys playing with other dogs I’m happy to bring my lab over she is great with other dogs. I am happy to accommodate any routine your pet may have to make them more comfortable on walks and drop in visits. I’m very used to shy dogs and cats that may need a little more space as well as super energetic ones.
About: I have been been dog sitting since I was in high school and love it. I first started by watching some of my friend's family dogs and am now looking to expand to others! I have been trusted to walk dogs, feed, and I have even given medications and shots to dog so am familiar with caring for elderly/sick dogs. I have taken some of my own family's dogs to training programs so am familiar with standard dog training practices. I’m currently unemployed so have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am free weekdays and weekends both day and night! Since I am not working at the moment, my schedule is very open and flexible. I live in an apartment building so don’t have a yard. I take my own dog on many walks a day and take him outside when needed. My own dog is not crate trained and is used to being out and roaming the house while we are at work. But he can also be closed in our bedroom to keep your dog comfortable, if needed.
About: "As a dedicated and reliable pet caregiver, i will provide an experience tailored to your dog’s unique personality and needs. I understand that your dog is a beloved family member, which is why I prioritize maintaining their familiar routine—from specific feeding times and favorite walking routes to their preferred sleeping spots. Whether your pup is an energetic adventurer who needs plenty of playtime or a calm senior who appreciates gentle companionship and belly rubs, I offer attentive, one-on-one care in a safe and loving environment. You can travel with total peace of mind knowing I provide regular photo updates, clear communication, and the same level of affection I give my own pets. My goal is to ensure your dog stays happy, healthy, and tired out until your return!" As a part-time employed Mom and Grandma, I like to be busy and have time to spare for loving more than just my family and pets. At this moment, I have 3 dogs and two cats, all who need my personal attention several times a day. I would love to do that for you too. I know what it’s like to be stressed about your kitty or dog while away and I can help relieve that, even for just a day or a week.

About: No matter the personality of your fur baby, rambunctious, shy, nervous or high maintenance they will get the care, activity, and attention that fits their needs. I've been around all kinds of dogs most of my life and doggie and house sat through high school and college to support myself. I believe that our four-legged family members are to be seen, heard and treasured and very much understand the part they play in our lives, because of this I also understand the responsibility I have to the safety and well being of your loved one and look forward to getting to know that sweet face that brings you so much joy! I have a huge fenced yard and if your sweetie likes the company of other dogs I love field trips to the dog park!
“Chelsea is wonderful! As a new pup mom was a bit anxious about getting all this started and how it would go for Maggie. Chelsea made it so easy, answered all my questions, shares pictures of their time together and assures Maggie is well cared for, couldn’t be happier!”

About: I’ve had my own personal pets all my life and believe pets are family and treat them as such. I have also take care of friends, and family pets as well. Just did house sitting with 2 Australian cattle dogs, 2 cats and 6 chickens. Currently, I do not have any pets of my own as I lost my 2 Boston terriers last year. I love animals and anyone who knows me knows me, knows this about me. I work from home full-time and I can work from anywhere that has internet. I just bring my laptop and I’m able to care for your fur kids all day :) I am especially good at cuddles all day, walks, and feeding/playing with your fur kids. My motto is animals are better than humans because they are. I love them!
About: I adore all animals, available for drop-ins, walks, and puppy play dates with my dog. I’m currently self-training a wonderful psychiatric service dog, Sobek (still in training). Together we have taken a large number of classes, passed the CGC, volunteered with Oregon Humane Training, canine PT, and had a whole lot of fun along the way. I am familiar with positive reenforcement, force free, settle training, crate training, socialization, clicker training, agility and capturing calm behaviors. I have experience with animals who have mild to moderate mobility issues, puppies, senior and special needs, safe stretching/activity monitoring, and reactive body language. *I am not a certified trainer* but I hope to be one day. I’m happy to answer any questions or assist you on your journey, teach your dog a thing or two, or point you to my many trusted local resources. Inclusivity, flexibility, and honesty are some of my main core values. I am honest about my availability, knowledge and conduct. I’m also a former pro photographer and bound to take many cute photos. They/them, queer/trans affirming. I work from home so I am flexible depending on my meetings. I am available late afternoons and evenings unless otherwise noted in my schedule. I’m fairly organized and pet-proof my own home. I always treat other’s homes as if they were my own, meaning I pack out what I pack in and respect the boundaries of humans and pets who live there.
About: I’ve spent over 20 years caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and energy levels, and what truly sets me apart is that animals aren’t just part of my schedule—they’re part of my life. I’m self-employed, which means I have the flexibility to be fully present and attentive, and my own dog goes just about everywhere with me. Dogs are woven into my daily rhythm, not squeezed into it. I’m especially skilled at reading canine body language and meeting dogs where they are emotionally and physically. I have extensive experience with off-leash dogs and understand how to manage freedom safely through awareness, trust, and clear communication. I’m also very comfortable caring for senior dogs—moving at their pace, watching for subtle changes, and providing calm, steady support. Whether a dog is high-energy and adventurous or older and more reserved, I focus on building trust, respecting individual needs, and creating a calm, confident environment where they feel safe and understood. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine. I’m self-employed, which gives me the flexibility to structure my days around the needs of the dogs in my care rather than fitting them into fixed blocks of time. My own dog is with me throughout the day, so caring for dogs is a constant, natural part of my rhythm. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to provide regular attention, timely walks, enrichment, rest breaks, and any special care a dog may need, whether that’s extra activity, medication, or a slower pace for seniors. I plan my schedule to ensure dogs are never rushed or left waiting and always receive consistent, attentive care. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, dogs have access to a spacious, fully enclosed ½-acre backyard with an 8-foot privacy fence, providing plenty of room to move, explore, and relax safely. Dogs have access to the yard through a dog door, allowing them to go in and out freely throughout the day based on their comfort level and routine. I use multiple baby gates and an external kennel to thoughtfully manage space and interactions. This allows me to separate dogs when needed, provide quiet time, or give individual dogs privacy and decompression breaks—always with my close attention and supervision. I can offer private space both indoors and outdoors, ensuring each dog has a calm, secure place to relax based on their comfort level and needs. I’m very attentive to group dynamics and individual personalities, adjusting supervision and space to ensure every dog feels safe, respected, and comfortable—whether they thrive on companionship or prefer a calmer, more structured environment.
“Emily walked my pup in the middle of the day for 3 weeks and made it so easy. She came to meet basil before and was lovely. She was very communicative and an amazing walker. Highly recommend.”

“Jordan was great. Pepper took a minute to adjust and get used to him, by no fault of his own. Then she walked just fine. Jordan was very responsive, communicative, and flexible. We appreciated the last minute availability. Would definitely use Jordan again.”

About: I've grown up constantly around dogs and taking care of them. My family and I would often get dogs from shelters, so behavioral issues are no problem for me! I'm used to the crazy-fun nature of these furry creatures. I have trained all my dogs, and when I was 14 got my own chihuahua that I raised from a puppy. I enjoy spending time with dogs and animals and would love to help out with your furry friends. I'm currently in school part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to care for your pets. I have two cats of my own that I take care of everyday by playing with them, giving them fresh water and food, brushing them, and of course lots of cuddles. Coming into your home I will be very cleanly. I'll give your pets and home my upmost respect. With me your animals will be in amazing care.

Wonderful people and I will definitely be seeking them out again the next time I make a trip to that area.”

“Shadie is great! This is our second time dropping our two dogs off here. On this trip, we had a major travel snafu (thanks southwest!) that delayed us two full days. Thankfully Shadie was still available and incredibly accommodating/understanding. Our dogs are always in good spirit when we pick them up. I would definitely recommend Shadie.”
“Kathy and her family were wonderful with Dooly. She provided up dates via tex and photo's. Hes an old boy and it sounds like he did alot of resting and watlching. He came home fit and well rested. thank you Kathy”
“Michelle (Ching yin) took such great care of our pup, Salty! She was very communicative and accommodating to our changing schedule. Salty was happy and tired after the visit. Can’t wait to book again!”

“Intentional, caring, and a great set up for a dog. Easy 5-star review! Christopher was awesome for someone who, along with my pup, has a bit of anxiety staying with random people. We did a meet up before the stay where Christopher took notes and helped calm me and the dog! Ruby got walks, played in the big yard and felt right at home. Wonderful experience for dog & owners!”

“Barry and Shaka were fantastic! I could tell from Molly’s energy and attitude when I picked her up that she had a great time and was well cared for. I hope Barry will be available for future trips, though I know he’s in high demand.”

“Chom Chom had a wonderful stay with Heath & Amy! They made sure he had plenty of time outside and lots of snuggles. Chom got a lot well with all the other pups and had a great time!”

“Hutton did an excellent job watching our dog, Cowboy, while we were out of town this past weekend. Hutton was communicative and shared updates daily. We will definitely be requesting Hutton's services through Rover again!”

“We had an amazing experience with Steve! He is reliable, communicative, and clearly cared a lot about our dog, Ranger. We got regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Ranger was happy, relaxed, and well cared for when we returned. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.”

“This was Lily's first visit with Kristen and it went very well. Kristen was very attentive to Lily. We were kept up to date on Lily's activities and felt that if there was a problem Kristen would know what to do. We'll visit again.”

“Karilla was amazing! Thank you so much for taking care of meatball. She provided updates and sent photos. Made me feel comfortable that my little guy was with her. Thank you again!”
