About: For as long as I can remember, I've lived in a household with pets! As a kid, my family had a little shih tzu and then later on we had a huge pit bull mix (we also almost always had at least 3 cats running around, adding to the craziness). I've always loved getting to spend time with animals because of their vastly different personalities, from the lazy pug I currently have to the crazy cats I take care of for friends! I'd love to get the opportunity to spend time with your pet too, whether it's taking them on long walks or just playing with them around the house! I'm currently a full-time employee with lots of flexibility in my hours. I'm available most days from noon until 10pm! Some days may have slight differences in hours based on if I have any work meetings, but I'm always transparent with my availability! I live in a gated apartment complex currently with a large dog park. Because of my current home, I only offer drop-in visits and walks. Because of this, I'd be visiting your home. I believe in treating everyone's home with absolute respect so I'll make sure to follow all rules you set for your space as well as ensure your pets are safe and happy at the end of my visits!

She is especially accommodating—we had our regular sitter bail on us the day before we were set to leave the state for the holidays—and she answered our request to pet sit for a week, over the holidays of all times, within 30 minutes! She was very detailed in her communications about how our pets were doing each night, and she wasn’t afraid to ask a question if she had one regarding how to deal with anything our animals were doing that wasn’t specifically listed in the instructions, which I especially appreciated. She could have easily done the bare minimum with things—but she put in the effort to go the extra mile by doing things like staying with our cats for extended periods to make sure they were eating their dinner when she could have fed them, assumed they would eat correctly, and call it a day. Misty also made good decisions on her own if we didn’t answer a question she had while she was at our home for a drop-in. Our cats seemed to be very comfortable with her, they are very particular and don’t warm up to everyone; however Misty was able to get them to eat their dinner better than most past sitters (they tend to be reserved and get anxious when we’re gone, they don’t eat well with many past sitters—but this wasn’t a problem!)”

Because of having family in England, I want to be able to travel there frequently so am not ready to have a permanent dog again yet, but I LOVE having dogs come and stay with me when my calendar allows. I work from home so have flexibility in my routine and am always available for my visitors’ needs. I like to take a morning walk, and an evening one too. I’m not away from home often. I have a fully fenced yard and my neighborhood has beautiful walking trails, that I use whether I am walking a dog, or just walking alone. I’ve fostered rescue dogs and have experience of high anxiety dogs. I’m 6 feet tall and strong, and my last foster was great with people but not so much with other dogs we met on our walks, so I’m used to avoiding them, if necessary! About: I’ve loved and lived with animals of all shapes, sizes, and colors (furry and scaly alike), for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I found a passion and love of caring for others through learning to care for our family pets (cats, dogs, frogs, lizards, fish, hamsters, bunnies, guinea pigs, pot belly pigs, ponies, etc) who were treated largely like members of the family rather than pets. Pet caregiving can be part time or full time depending on the week! I follow detailed instructions give lots of updates and ask many questions so I am prepared for everything! I am professional and take caregiving another being very seriously! Playtime, meds, food, hydration and walks all are very important! Plus all the cuddles if that's what your pet likes! I respect boundaries and your pet will always show tell me theirs!

“Love love love it all that they provided to our Tofu❤️Absolutely recommend Linda and her family hosting your fur babies. Our Tofu spent his best two weeks at their place with lots of walks, treats, and even baths when needed. They asked many questions before hand to get to know Tofu and arranged a visit as well. It was such a relief for us during our international trip where we had no access to text messages and major social media. However, Linda still offered to contact us via WhatsApp in order to send daily updates.”
