The only bummer is that both weekends I asked Araceli to give my puppy a specific supplement after dinner and that didn’t happen, even after I reminded her for the second weekend. “Jared did an excellent job boarding Fiona, a ~2.5 year old pit mix that is brand new to our home. Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. Jared was always quick to respond to text messages. Thanks Jared for looking after Fiona, you'll be seeing her again soon.”

I got my very first dog when I was 7, and ever since then, dogs and cats have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, my family always had 1–2 dogs in the house, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. About: I have taken care of dogs, horses, and other farm animals since I was 7 years old. I grew up in a family with four big dogs and spent a lot of time training them in agility, helping at equestrian centers and other farms where I encountered and worked with all different kinds of working dogs, and spent years studying dog training, grooming, and handling. I currently have a highly reactive Pyrenees/German Shepherd who has allowed me to find a new passion in more deeply figuring out how different kinds of animals' minds work and learn to cater to their varying needs and learning styles, a mini Aussie who I am now working with in the beginning stages of agility training and having fun learning all sorts of different types of obedience and tricks with, and an Aussie/Pyr newly 1 year old who is already my best mountain biking buddy and has had a very strong start with agility training. I have also raised a litter of 10 puppies, so I am experienced and comfortable with dogs of any age. Their worlds are only as big as we make them, and they deserve all the love and experiences they can get! I work remotely, so my schedule is fully flexible most days. I have to schedule meet & greets and start/end times around my meeting schedule daily, but once I am there can cater to whatever you dog’s daily schedule need is I will follow any directions you leave me, from crating, feeding, and play/cuddle time instructions if I am sitting, or whatever sort of walking specifications or request you have to best to cater to you dog if I am only taking him/her on walks.

About: I’ve had pets since the age of five, and have loved taking care of animals since! I’ve helped take care of plenty of dogs, big and small. I’ve owned Alaskan Malamutes, Labradors, Dobermans, etc and loved to walk them all. I’m good at getting pets to take their medicine and love to give seniors the extra care and attention they deserve. “Overall, had a really great experience leaving my pup with Araceli! I happened to be gone two weekends in a row and I was really grateful to be able to have my dog in the same place. He really enjoyed playing with their dog and in their big yard! The only bummer is that both weekends I asked Araceli to give my puppy a specific supplement after dinner and that didn’t happen, even after I reminded her for the second weekend. She is very sweet and would work with her again!”

I maintain their regular routines with consistent feeding, potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day.
