“Kayden was kind enough to help me out last minute when I had to travel. He was very polite and willing to help out with special the special needs of one of my dogs. I highly recommend Kayden.”
“Sierra was responsive, friendly and arrived on time for each of 3 walks we booked. She took good care of our senior dog, sent pictures and was in good communication. Much appreciated!”

“Kate was professional from the very beginning with timely and open communication before even booking. It’s clear she has a lot of experience with cat sitting. I didn’t worry once about my pet during my vacation and my pet is reactive and scared of strangers. I would recommend and rebook without doubt.”

“Absolutely loved having Victoria watch over my babies. This was our first time having someone come do a drop by and I was worried how it would go but my boys quickly warmed up to her. I love how she kept in constant contact and gave me daily updates and pictures. Thank you so much!!!!”

“Since my cats only eat wet food, it’s hard for me to go out for a long time. But thanks to Rachel’s drop-in visits, I’ve been able to make sure they get at least one meal of wet food a day even when I’m away for a while. The cats seemed to warm up to her right away. I plan to ask Rachel to help out again the next time I take a long vacation.”

About: I’ve cared for animals for several years and truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I have hands-on experience caring for my own pets, including three ferrets, which has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and paying close attention to an animal’s individual needs. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I understand how important trust is when choosing someone to care for your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and happy to follow your pet’s routine to help them feel at ease. My goal is to give you peace of mind while ensuring your pet receives plenty of attention, affection, and quality care. I truly love all pets and have even began volunteering at the southwest humane society to continue my journey with pet care! I have open availability all summer and would love the opportunity to care for your pets! During the school year (September through June), I work full-time as a teacher, but I’m typically available on weekends, afternoons, and school breaks. I’m committed to providing dependable, loving care whenever you need it. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize keeping them comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, ensure they get the appropriate amount of exercise and playtime, and give them plenty of attention and affection.
“Tayla was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure our cat was taken care of when we were out of town! She spent extra time and attention to make sure that our cat was comfortable and eating after a fire alarm went off. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Jocelyn was amazing! She took great care of my animals and helped me out last minute! She was responsible and had great communication! I will definitely be booking her again 😊”

About: Hello, I’m Fran—a devoted dog lover and experienced guardian offering a highly personalized, in-home care experience for a select few dogs at a time. When you’re away, I offer your dog more than just care—I provide a true holiday of their own. Each dog is welcomed into a calm, thoughtfully held environment where they are not just looked after, but genuinely known, understood, and cherished. I believe we don’t own our pets—we’re entrusted with them. My role is to ensure every dog in my care feels safe, happy, and deeply loved, with a sense of ease and belonging. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Each one arrives with their own story and personality, and it’s a joy to watch them settle in, open up, and truly thrive. Because I work with a limited number of families, I’m able to offer an experience that is unhurried, intuitive, and deeply personal—something both dogs and their people can feel completely at ease with. If you’re seeking a more intentional, personalized experience for your dog, I invite you to get in touch and explore availability. I understand schedules vary and sometimes life presents surprises where we need to find someone to care for our beloved pup at the last minute. I work remotely with a flexible schedule. Let me help you when you need it most. Every day, I plan activities to engage their brains and exercise their bodies, often involving adventures through the neighborhood, trips to the fenced dog park, and visits to the river on hot days. At the end of the day, we enjoy healthy treats that I prepare myself, which also engage their brains and senses. I live in Vancouver, Washington, with my 8-year-old black lab mix, Murphy, who loves humans and other dogs and is non-aggressive. My home is well-maintained with a large deck where dogs can play and relax.I work from home which means your 'kids' are never left alone for long periods.
“Nicole was amazing. She sent photos of my kitten everyday and even went as far as to help us figure out how to keep the ants away from his food while we were out of town. I will for sure use her services again :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Recently just had to say goodbye to my pup of 10 years. We walked a healthy amount three times a day rain snow or shine I work as a teacher so I’m home early enough to walk a dog or two and can make morning walks happen too if needed. When I walk dogs, I hold on to them with their leash wrapped around my wrist and led very calmly. I can also work with non leash trained dogs.
“Ricky is very passionate and caring. One of the best sitters I’ve ever hired. He took a fantastic care of my cat while we were gone and communicated with me every time he visited. I highly recommend him. My cat was happy and well fed when we got home!”

Absolutely amazing! Responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Asked lots of questions during the meet and greet to make sure my pups would be well taken care of. My pups warmed up to her instantly and I got the cutest pictures during her visit. 10/10 would recommend!

My girls and I love Megan! She takes such good care of my babies and is excellent at communication. I never feel like I have to worry when im away because she asks any necessary clarifying questions and spoils them with walks and affection! I wouldn't hesitate to use her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Vancouver with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
