About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs for over 15 years. Sadly they have passed away. I just got a puppy Pepper and she is 7 months old. Loves other dogs. I am familiar with their eating habits and levels of activity. I work from home most days and can take breaks. Occasionally need to run errands or take the kids to school or a play date. I have a fully fenced in backyard with lots of grass to run around in. I have two friendly cats who have been around dogs.

About: Beyond the care of my own pets, I also regularly house, dog, cat, and chicken-sit for family friends and neighbors. I've spent my whole life around animals and have nurtured and cared for a variety of pets, including guinea pigs, dogs, cats, and fish. I graduated in June of this year, so I have more day-time availability this summer, however I do work a part-time job. My shifts at my job are 4 to 10 hours, 3 to 4 days a week, and Fridays and Tuesdays tend to be my most available days. I am open to any rules or directions you have for your pet. I have a deep respect for all animals and will love and care for them. As a pet-caregiver myself, I understand the bond between you and your pet and the protecting feeling that comes with it. I will do all I can to make sure you feel your pet is in good hands.

About: Animals have been part of my life since childhood - I grew up alongside both cats (Kiki, Jenny) and dogs (Bailey and Fenton), which taught me early on how different (and wonderfully quirky) each species can be. Whether it's a midday drop-in for your cat or an afternoon walk for your dog, I show up on time, every time. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd want shown in mine. I follow your pet's routine - their feeding schedule, their favorite spots, the words they respond to, the toys they love. I'm not there to do things my way; I'm there to make your pet feel like you never left. I always send updates with photos so you can see for yourself how they're doing. I have a genuine soft spot for small animals. I understand that small dogs and cats can be more sensitive to strangers and new energy, so I take my time letting them warm up to me rather than rushing the interaction. Calm, patient, and consistent - that's my approach.

I like to maintain your pet's typical routine as closely as possible, as I find the familiarity and consistency keeps them feeling calm. Depending on their needs and energy levels, we'll have a balance of indoor play time, walks around the neighborhood, and cuddle time. Rest assured I will be loving on them as if they are my own pets!
