“My girls and I love Megan! She takes such good care of my babies and is excellent at communication. I never feel like I have to worry when im away because she asks any necessary clarifying questions and spoils them with walks and affection! I wouldn't hesitate to use her again!”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and respect I have for animals. I don't see pet care as just a job—I see it as caring for a member of your family. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. I believe in patience, kindness, and clear communication, and I'll always treat your pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I'm happy to provide the care that's right for them. I'm also comfortable administering medications as directed, refreshing food and water, and helping maintain your pet's normal routine. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care and give you peace of mind while you're away. I'm a mom of three and work part-time in the medical field. My schedule allows me to provide dependable pet care while balancing my family and work responsibilities. On the days I work, I'm typically available after the afternoon/evening. On my days off, I have much more flexibility and am generally available throughout the day. I'm also available on weekends! If you have specific scheduling needs, feel free to reach out. I'll do my best to accommodate you and your pet's routine. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. They'll receive plenty of love, attention, and cuddles—if that's what they enjoy! I respect every pet's unique personality, boundaries, and routine, and I'll always care for them in the way that's best for them. For everyone's safety, dogs will always remain on a leash during walks unless we're in a secure, enclosed area with your permission. I'll treat your pet with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own, so you can feel confident they're in good hands while you're away.
“Makenzie is absolutely amazing! She was super responsive, provided plenty of photos/updates, and my dogs loved her. 🤗 I definitely can’t say enough good things about her and will absolutely use her again. She’s the best!”

“Sam was great with pilot and Perla while I was gone over the holidays. It’s was amazing that he understood my dogs personalities. He was very attentive and took great pictures. I felt safe with him taking care of my dogs and I would totally book him again. Thank you Sam for being a great sitter.”

“Shad is a responsible & kind dogsitter who takes time to make sure our dog is comfortable & gets some enrichment for the day while we are away. Highly recommend!”

“Christopher was absolutely amazing! He played with our boy and sent us lots of pictures. He will be my first choice going forward! I cannot more highly recommend this guy!”

“Tiana is great, very responsive and good communication. It's such a relief to have a reliable sitter nearby who can feed and tend to our cats while we're away.”

About: We’ve taken care of our own dogs and fostered others for over 15 years . Sadly some have passed away and others have gone to good foster homes. We are comfortable with all levels of activity. One of us is home most of the time. My partner works from home twice a week and I am only away from home a few hours a day. Occasionally need to run errands or take the kids to school. I have a fully fenced in backyard with lots of grass to run around in. I have two friendly cats who have been around dogs.

“Niki is everything I could want in a cat sitter: friendly, responsive, flexible, reliable. They made themselves available to fill in for a sitter who canceled on short notice and even stopped by for a quick meet 'n' greet before I left town. They made sure our cat got his meds and sent cute pics. ❤️”

About: I have always had pets and grew up with dogs and cats. I have years of experience pet sitting (cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, sheep, goats) walking dogs, and have administered insulin for cats on many occasions. I love animals and would be honored to be trusted with caregiving for your pets. I understand they are members of your family and treat each pet in my care with upmost respect, patience, love and joy. I am available for afternoon and evening care M-F prioritized- potential weekend availability. I am super active and would love to take your dog on a walk or to a park to play fetch. I also love to hang out with cats, play with their toys and curl up with them on the couch. I have two cats who I view as my family. They are incredibly important to me, and I know how much trust is required in bringing someone new on board for their care. It is with this lived experience of trusting and finding the best possible care for them when I am away, that I approach this opportunity to look after your pets. I have reverence for animals and approach them as the authorities on themselves, and seek to learn how to best support their unique needs and personalities through patience, listening and respect.
“Claire was wonderful! She took great care of my dogs during drop-in visits and gave special attention to my older dog as she was recovering from a surgery. Highly recommend her for drop-in care needs!”
About: It's no secret that I love animals more than people (no offense). There is something so pure and uncomplicated about the bonds we form with our pets, and leaving them behind is never easy, no matter the reason. When your bestie needs a buddy, you'll want a sitter who is not only present in the room, but present in the moment; someone you can trust to be just as attentive to their emotional needs as their physical ones. As a member of your pet's care team, I consider myself to be an extension of their family. My priority is to foster a comfortable, engaging, and loving environment that feels as close to their normal routine as possible. I strive to be the next best thing to having you there, and to provide consistent communication and trustworthy service that enables you to travel stress-free. I have been pet sitting and dog walking professionally since 2017 through Rover, and work part time as a Pet Care Professional with Hot Diggity Dog Walking. With nearly 60 rave reviews and over 20 repeat clients, I am proud to have been among the first to achieve Rover's "Star Sitter" status, a distinction which "highlights sitters with a track record of highly rated care for pets and responsible, reliable service for pet parents." I am certified in first aid and CPR via ProTrainings, and have over 30 years of pet ownership experience with a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, fish, and horses. I have experience working with different ages and temperaments, including those anxious, hesitant, young, elderly, and/or injured pets who may benefit from having some extra care and thoughtfulness built into their routine. I am comfortable administering medications, and I'm happy to work with your pet on any specific training regimens you have in place, to maintain consistency in their education and environment. If this feels like a good fit for you, please reach out with a bit about your pet and their specific needs, and we can compare calendars to schedule a meet-and-greet. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your furry family member(s)! I am a full-time pet care provider, and intentionally spend as much of my time at home with your pet as I can, to minimize anxiety while their people are gone. I will occasionally need to leave for a couple of hours here and there to visit my regular dog walking clients during the day, or to attend band practices or other commitments in the evenings, but I do my best to prioritize quality time with the animals in my care. I like to maintain your pet's typical routine as closely as possible, as I find the familiarity and consistency keeps them feeling calm. Depending on their needs and energy levels, we'll have a balance of indoor play time, walks around the neighborhood, and cuddle time. Rest assured I will be loving on them as if they are my own pets! This is how I meet my own needs as an animal-obsessed touring musician whose travel schedule doesn't allow for personal pet ownership. :)
“Trey has watched my cats several times before joining Rover and continues to do so now. He follows instructions well and my cats LOVE him! I can count on him to show up when Im away even on last minute requests.”

“Sierra did a fantastic job watching our two cats for a long weekend! Our cats can be a bit difficult, and she did a wonderful job looking after them. Provided great communication, helped bring in a few packages, and was kind enough to water a few plants as well. When we had flight troubles, she even stopped by for an extra day to make sure our cats still got fed. Would absolutely recommend!”

We had our second drop in with Heather that went so great!! Oliver and Bailey have warmed up to her so quickly and love seeing her. They are always so happy in all of the videos and pictures that are sent and are so happy when we get back home. Cant express how thankful I am to have found Heather 😊 looking forward to future visits!

Melibea took great care of our husky Echo and was thoughtful throughout his stay. He did have an accident upstairs when we got home, but she let me know she had even stayed out longer trying to give him every chance to poop before bringing him back inside. We loved the little details she shared, like playing peek-a-boo behind the tree at the park to see if he was paying attention and would come looking for her. I really appreciated her communication, updates, and the genuine care she showed Echo. Would book again for sure!

I can’t say enough good things about Maria. From our initial meet and greet to the very end, Maria was reliable, communicative, and clearly passionate about dogs. Maria took the time to understand Willow’s routine, personality, and needs, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We received detailed Rover Cards and lots of lovely pictures of Willow. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and truly kind with animals, I would absolutely recommend Maria without hesitation. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Amy’s great! It’s easy to see that she cares about pets. We have a puppy and it’s a good feeling, knowing that we are leaving our puppy in good hands. Amy only uses positive reinforcement, ask questions when care instructions are unclear, provides thorough updates, and plays and cuddles with our puppy. She even goes above and beyond by cleaning up any puppy messes. Truly a reliable, attentive, and thoughtful sitter—We are so grateful to have found her!

Oh my goodness! I seriously could not be any happier about Katherine’s care and support. This visit was exactly what my puppy and I needed. Katherine was right on time and gave the care necessary and did everything I asked for. It definitely eased my anxiety to know my girl was in good hands and I had nothing to worry about. I hate when my dog needs to be home all alone but getting confirmation from Katherine made it all possible. I appreciate her care and support so very much!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
