About: I grew up with animals always around, dogs, cats, and birds, but am not ready to have one of my own again at this time. I work from home so will be available to your pets at all times. I have a big fenced back yard to play in. I limit stays to 1 household at a time to ensure everyone is familiar and comfortable with eachother. I am comfortable with pets of all ages and experienced in administering any medicines needed. I do live with a partner, while he is an animal lover too, I will be the sole sitter for your pets during their stay. I really look forward to meeting your fur babies! I work from home so I’ll be available at all hours of the day. My workday usually starts at 7am but that is highly flexible. My house is small but I have a large fenced in backyard and am usually okay just keeping the door open for pets to go in and out as they like during down time. I prefer for your pets to stay with me but if you need me to come to your place that can be arranged. I will respect your home and your home’s safety however you deem. I’m here to help you and your pets feel as comfortable as possible while you are away
“Michelle did a great job with her first drop-in visit for our two cats! Communication was excellent—she kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We could tell she was attentive and caring, and our cats seemed comfortable with her. Would definitely book her again!”

“So greatful for Melissa's help taking care of my cat Luna. At the time of my trip, Luna was recovering from a wound that needed special care. Melissa was not only able to manage her care and monitor progress, but also somehow managed to get my extremely shy cat to warm up to her, despite all the meds and special care routine. When I got back Luna was in tip-top shape and a lot less mad at me for leaving than she usually is. Melissa will definitely be my first call next time I need to travel.”

“Ash is wonderful! Our cat is not the friendliest but she was patient with her and respected her boundaries while sending us some hilarious photos. I felt comfortable and peaceful knowing I could enjoy my vacation and know my fur baby was in great hands. HIGHLY recommend 😊”

“Bethany was very dependable, which gives peace of mind. I am sure my dogs appreciated being taken care of in their own environment. I will request Bethany again, next time, if she is available.”

About: ⭐ Professionally trained animal care specialist ⭐ 24/7 care from a full-time rover pet sitter ⭐ Fully fenced backyard with supervised access only ⭐ Pick-Up & Drop-Off service offered (+$20 per round trip) I grew up on a small family farm so taking care of animals is second nature for me. I pride myself on the fact that I am talented at quickly acclimating animals to new environments and making them feel loved and comfortable. I truly love this work, and as a pet parent myself, I strive to care for each animal the same way I would want my own pet cared for. I currently work part-time as an animal care technician. So, I'm professionally trained on how to read animals' behavioral cues, understand signs of stress, and ensure comfort in unfamiliar environments. My husband works from home full-time and cares for the animals while I'm at work. Rest assured, they will never be alone for more than 2-4 hours during their stay with me. We go on walks three times a day (15 minutes each) and I feed them twice a day. During our meet and greet, I will also ask you about your own schedule with your dog to make sure I accommodate. My home is a dog paradise! I have a very spacious 2.6k square foot, two-story, 4 bedroom home with a fenced backyard with ample shade. The dogs are supervised 24/7, whether they're relaxing in my office with me, or sleeping in my room on their own dog bed. I have two twin-sized beds designated for dogs, crates for most sizes, 8 queen-sized soft blankets specifically for dogs (sherpa wool and fleece), and lots of toys and bones for them to play with. IMPORTANT: I cannot accept dogs who are not friendly with cats or small dogs. Specifically, if they are known to chase, bark at, swat or corner them.
About: I’m a serious plant guy and have over 130 of my own house plants. I also set up drip irrigation in my yard. I love cats and would be happy to stop in to check on them, clean their litter boxes and give them water. I am an early riser so taking care of animals in the morning and evening works great for me. I am available all days of the week unless I am out of town. I would be happy to water or feed your plants as well as ensure humidifiers are full. I am happy to let your cats in or out, feed them, provide fresh water and clean litter boxes. I would love the opportunity to play with your cat and ensure they have somewhere to scratch.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Troutdale
Penny was amazing taking care of my babies while I was away for a week. She did drop-in visits and was always on time, reliable, and made sure they were well taken care of. She checked that they had eaten, had fresh water, and spent time playing with them and giving them attention. I had five puppies and two adult dogs, so it was definitely a lot to handle, but Penny did such a great job with all of them. She was patient, caring, and made sure each one got the attention they needed. She also sent me several pictures every day, which made me so happy and gave me peace of mind knowing they were doing well. It’s never easy leaving your pets behind, but Penny made my 1st Rover experience so much easier. I truly appreciate all the love and care she showed my babies and would definitely recommend her! ❤️🐾

Lilieana was so kind and gracious in the booking process. She also lives nearby so made everything pretty easy. The pups looked pleased on the pictures and are happy that we are home . Frankie sniffed around for a little while wondering if she was going to come back. Definitely a great sitter pick.

Michelle was absolutely amazing and a life saver! We had to leave town last minute to attend a family funeral and she was able to help our sweet boy Mr. Paul in a pinch! Michelle was also great about pivoting our request when funeral plans changed last minute. Can’t recommend her enough, she kept our boy happy and taken care of while we were gone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
