About: We are gentle, caring, and experienced pet parents ready to welcome your pet(s) into our home. I (Alex) have been caring for pets of family and friends for well over a decade. I once worked at the WSU veterinary school and have experience volunteering at vet clinics and fostering. I have always been passionate about animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages. My partner Dalton is a work from home dad to our three furbabies and one human baby. We have plenty of indoor and fenced outdoor space for your pet(s) to roam. Whether they want to cuddle up on the couch with us, or prefer a quiet, secluded space of their own, we can accommodate your pet's needs. Our goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in our home. If you need drop-in visits or dog walking, I have availability for that too! Don't hesitate to reach out with questions. We value open, frequent communication and would love a meet and greet with you and your pet(s) to see if we are a good fit. I work night shift in healthcare- I have several days off in a row every other week which is when I would be available for pet sitting. This includes weekends and weekdays, as well as some holidays. My partner works from home full-time so is available to help out as needed. We have a large one story home with plenty of lounge spaces for your pet to get comfortable. We also have a large fully fenced, grassy backyard. Our two elderly dogs are good with other dogs, but we also have the ability to give your pet(s) their own gated off space, or crate, if needed.

I do typically work at 8am, so any hand offs after that time do need to be quick but can work. Anything before 8am I do have a bit of time to socialize and give same day tours. Inside, guest dogs don’t just stay downstairs—they’re fully integrated into our family routine and spend time alongside our boys in all common areas. Crates remain available and are used only if it suits each dog’s comfort and routine. We maintain a spotless environment—blankets, crates, toys, and dog beds are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between visits to ensure every pet has a fresh, safe space. About: I am a conscientious, trustworthy, pet loving individual. I understand the dedication and commitment required to look after your pets! I grew up with all sorts of animals.. cats, dogs, birds, snakes, ferrets, Guinea pigs, raccoons, you name it. I have over 13 years of personal pet care and can assure you your pet will receive nothing but the most genuine love from me! Each pet has their own unique personality and style, and I adapt exactly to what your pet needs and wants, whether it be cuddles, play time, or space. I work a full time job, Monday through Friday, from 7-3p but I am available after work and happy to stay for a bit I work full time from home, m-f 7-3p. I am available for drop-ins sun-th after work and can stay for a bit to ensure your companion is entertained and cared for while you are away I am experienced in kitten, cat, puppy, and dog care. I have exposure to oral medication administration, wound care, and bottle feeding. I am relatively active and am happy to provide walking services if requested.

About: I currently cannot have a dog right now, but I have about a year of experience with treat training dogs. I love taking them on walks. I currently work a part-time job in Sandy, but I am very open to walking or pet sitting. Especially since I have a big heart for animals. I have a friendly cat and a decent size backyard. Since my backyard is not fenced in, it would be best to pet sit at the client’s house.

We did a "meet and greet" prior to Ronda pet sitting and Ronda was very attentive and reassuring during her introduction to my pets. While I hired Ronda to primarily take care of my dog, Gracie, we also have two indoor exotic birds, a fish tank and a chicken in our backyard, I needed these pets to be cared for in my absence as well and Ronda was able to take care of the whole menagerie. She provided plenty of great photos and details of her multiple, daily visits, I was able to relax and enjoy my time away from home knowing that all my pet's needs were being met, I will definitely hire Ronda in the future.”

About: I’m a current foster home for the Troutdale shelter. I’ve taken legal cases and regular foster cases until they are adopted. I love all animals and just want to help those in need. I currently work from home so I’m able to care for your pet all day. I’m able to play, love on them and walk them. I don’t have a fenced yard but I’m able to walk your furry friend or crate them. However you want them to be taken care of.

About: I grew up with animals always around, dogs, cats, and birds, but am not ready to have one of my own again at this time. I work from home so will be available to your pets at all times. I have a big fenced back yard to play in. I limit stays to 1 household at a time to ensure everyone is familiar and comfortable with eachother. I am comfortable with pets of all ages and experienced in administering any medicines needed. I do live with a partner, while he is an animal lover too, I will be the sole sitter for your pets during their stay. I really look forward to meeting your fur babies! I work from home so I’ll be available at all hours of the day. My workday usually starts at 7am but that is highly flexible. My house is small but I have a large fenced in backyard and am usually okay just keeping the door open for pets to go in and out as they like during down time. I prefer for your pets to stay with me but if you need me to come to your place that can be arranged. I will respect your home and your home’s safety however you deem. About: I may be new to Rover, but I'm not new to working with dogs. My life revolves around dogs and has for many, many years. I run my own pet services business, Hounds of Love PDX, and bring a lifetime of experience in all areas including rescue, handling, walking, daycare, sitting, fostering, transporting and volunteering with local rescue organizations, as well as for Oregon Dog Rescue and Dove Lewis. I'm a small dog and senior advocate, and work with dogs of all sizes. I’ve always had an affinity for sighthounds(Greyhounds, Italian Greyhounds, etc), and understand their unique and sensitive nature well. I always put dogs first in every aspect of life, and feel they’re all part of my extended pack, and treat every dog as such. Safety is absolutely the top priority for me when working with pets. I’m always watching, listening and paying attention to their body language. I have a thorough understanding of dog behavior and know that each dog has a unique personality and needs, and that not all dogs are extroverts. In fact, many are quite the opposite. I’m naturally hyper-vigilant, yet focus on remaining kind, calm and confident when working with dogs, especially when out in the world. I’ve completed a variety of trainings with dogs over my lifetime, from canine good citizen, to flyball, to advanced therapy dog training. I’m Pet CPR + First Aid certified, as well as bonded and insured through Pet Sitters Associates. I always carry a well-stocked pet first aid kit in my vehicle, as well as water, bowls, treats, blankets and travel crates so as to always be as prepared. I'm located in the East/SE Portland area, also near Happy Valley and Gresham, and I service most all surrounding areas. At my home, I have three small rescue dogs that are a bonded pack. We utilize pet gates in our one level, ranch style home, and dog run fencing in our large, fenced backyard.
